I have been in the house in August with my family. The apartment is very bright and spacious with nice views. It had every thing we needed for a comfortable stay. It is in Waikiki close to the beach and amenities, but also in a quiet zone that allows a good rest.If anything, the house would need some small repairs to make it perfect.

Not bad.

This was a fun stay. The place could have been cleaner when I got there. And some things I had to fix (small handyman stuff) but overall a great stay. The people were friendly and I enjoyed the neighborhood.

Aloha Towers Condo #19A

It’s located in the central location which made it easy to commute to all type of transportations, grocery stores, department stores, restaurants, food trucks, and gym. Large and bright living room with sofa, dining table, fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and 1 parking stall. Captain Cook’s propery manager was very professional, kind, friendly, respectful which made our yearly vacation very comfortable and enjoyable. We’re grateful to be able to stay at this location.

We would recommend Captain Cook, but not this property, The on-site manager was despicable, and argumentative in the extreme from the very first day. Not a real 2 bedroom, as the second bedroom was not walled off from the kitchen. The windows were anything but soundproof and did not inspire confidence in the event of high winds. The noise from the street was pervasive and there was also noise from work being done in adjacent apartments. Anthony a groundskeeper was a pleasure. The property suited our needs for one month and overall we had a good experience, but I cannot recommend 430 Lewers Street. We have moved to a quieter location.

Conveniently Located, Spacious and Well Appointed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really enjoyed our stay in #19A - plenty of room, especially in the MBR. Well-lit throughout and ceiling fans to circulate air. Easy drive to and from Fort Shafter and an easy walk to Hale Koa and the Army Derussy recreation area. Very nice pool / BBQ outside area on premises, and easy access to canal walkway. ABC store near front door made for convenient emergency shopping and snacks. Fantastic Thai restaurant (Siam) a block away. Only negatives (1) cabinet hardware need tightening up, (2) BA2 fan never turned off, (3) curtains need to be replaced with darker / thicker materiel to block out city lights at night - way too bright when trying to sleep. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent property and very convenient to all activities. Property is clean and has a fantastic air flow. 5 Reasons for stating at the Aloha Towers Unit 19A:1. Safe2. Cleanliness 3. Comfortable 4. Convenient location 5. Amenities Let’s not forget the property manager James Wickard. James was extremely accommodating and always responded to our needs in a timely manner. The entire Captain Cook staff were always helpful, respectful, professional and kind. We hope to be able to return to Honolulu next year for our yearly 3 months vacation only if the current crimes and homeless issues are resolved. We were very afraid of going out at night among the homeless people since we were walking among the unhinged houseless people and we were unprotected. Best of luck to Honolulu in resolving the current issues.

Great spot, great location!

Great spot, great location! The apartment is very spacious and the property managers are great. Anytime we had an issue or a question they were very responsive and extremely kind. I would definitely come back and stay again!

Large windows in the living room that open wide and 2nd bedroom. The unit is located on the 19th floor, which gives the unit a nice city skyline view from the living room and mountain views from the bedroom. For extended stays, this place really feels like home.

We chose the unit 19A in the first place because it is located in the walking distance of Waikiki, it is cleaned, and the windows provided a lot of sun. The service we received from James Wickard - Property Manager was outstanding. James was extremely helpful, agreeable, friendly, professional, and kind.

January 2019 Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Aloha Towers #19A for 2 months. The condo is very clean, good air circulation, and is located in a safe neighborhood. The Aloha Towers property manager James was very accommodating to our needs and very professional. We truly appreciate James’s hospitality. We hope to work with James again in January 2020. We would like to have a way to dispose the recycle items using the trash room instead of having to take them to the garage. Pham

Great for a long term stay

Most of the time we could enjoy staying in the room, great view from the windows every day.however, the apartment floor was not clean enough when we arrived. I could see a lot of dirt on the floor. other places were ok. some facilities which was like door knob, towel rack were broken while we were staying. and one of the toilets had a problem.the contact system for the Captain Cook staff was a little inconvenient, especially I needed to contact to the staff as soon as we arrived, but it was very difficult to look for wifi spot right away, at the same time we needed to find a pick up taxi driver we booked. fortunately the condo staff and I used iphone, I could contact to the staff by facetime otherwise I had no idea to use 'what's up' app which was the only way you suggested me to contact to the condo staff...

Mahalo, for sharing your comments about your recent stay. I was very unhappy to hear that the floors had not been cleaned properly and for the maintenance issues you encountered during your stay. It sounds like the housekeeping team missed the ticket on quality control. Once alerted, we would have had Housekeeping back in the unit right away to bring it up to our standards. We are sorry about the problems you encountered with your phone and reaching our staff. We request all of our international guests to make sure they have cell phone coverage that works in the United States and Hawaii. Our Property Managers do have the What's App messenger on their cell phones as an additional option. Reservation and Arrival instructions provide this information to all guests. We are glad you appreciated the location and spaciousness of this fantastic condo and look forward to welcoming you back in the near future
