Une véritable «expérience du lac» avec des vues et des couchers de soleil incroyables, d'en haut et d'en bas

Notre chalet, Overlook, repose sur le canal principal du lac Wylie.
C'est la proximitĂ© la plus proche de Charlotte de tout lac en Caroline du Nord. En 20 minutes, vous pouvez ĂȘtre au centre-ville et Ă  15 minutes de l'aĂ©roport! Il y a de fabuleux restaurants, magasins et autres commoditĂ©s Ă  moins de 10 minutes en voiture. Nous avons une cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e avec tous les verres Ă  vin, etc., dont vous aurez besoin pour votre sĂ©jour. La vue sur le lac Ă  180 degrĂ©s orientĂ©e plein ouest offre des couchers de soleil extraordinairement spectaculaires. Vous pouvez vous dĂ©tendre et vous dĂ©tendre pendant que vous regardez des paysages incroyables depuis le patio, le porche couvert, le hamac ou le quai.

La maison est lambrissĂ©e de bois et de languette partout, mĂȘme au plafond de la taniĂšre et de la salle Ă  manger. Il a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©cemment mis Ă  jour, mais la sensation originale de «cabine de lac» a Ă©tĂ© conservĂ©e. Il a la sensation d'intimitĂ© et d'isolement.

Vous allez adorer la plage! Parfait pour que les enfants courent et jouent dans le sable pendant que vous regardez depuis le patio ou le quai. Vous aurez accĂšs Ă  un canot, un kayak et une planche Ă  pagaie pour vous lancer dans une aventure depuis la plage.

En entrant, vous trouverez la cabine propre et bien entretenue. Nous en sommes trĂšs fiers! Vous aurez des draps propres, une cuisine et une maison propres, vous n'aurez donc pas Ă  vous soucier d'apporter autre chose que vous-mĂȘme!

Exactly what my husband and I were looking for: A cozy traditional lake house for a serene get-a-away. Place was spotless, and the beds were super comfortable. Our nephew and his wife joined us for rwo nights with their 6 month old and all three had the best night’s sleep in 6 months! Loved the knotty pine cabinets and paneling. Location was very quiet, yet short drives to grocery, restaurants etc. Host was super responsive and delightful.
Traditional knotty pine cabinetry brought back warm memories of my child at my family’s summer cottage!

Decent spot

Overall a positive visit! Georgia, the property manager, was helpful, easy to communicate with and allowed us to check in early. The rental was charming and served our purposes. Sleeping 8 feels ambitious- we were 4 people and that felt more appropriate. The property could have been a little more clean and upkeep could have been improved (beware of the soft/disconnected boards on the steps to the lake!) but overall we enjoyed it. Not much to do immediately around the rental (eg no restaurants), but drive 20 minutes and there’s lots. LOVED how close/convenient it was to the airport

Vacation down the block

This was an amazing experience for my family. We were in between moves in Charlotte and needed a place to stay for the week. This house made us feel like we were on vacation. The view was beautiful. The screened in porch was a wonderful way to watch the sunset. It was very clean and the amenities were just what we needed. The host was amazingly wonderful, working with us logistically so that we could stay somewhere that would fit our needs. I am sure we will be planning vacations just down the block in the future.

Vacation in Lake Wylie

We had a great time a the property. We would suggest that owner include in description that there is a many stairs to climb up and down to get to beach/water. Some of our party were in their 60’s and it was difficult to access the lan and beach. A grab bar/handle to assist getting out of tub/shower would be grest also. Overall it was a relaxing and enjoyable vacation property

Overlook

They have a nice, fast pontoon. Rooms are good. Nice view of lake. Front Outside doesn’t have the most curb appeal but don’t let that scare you as it’s nice inside. Rent the boat for a day!

Perfection!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The view was breathtaking; pictures do not do this place justice. The vibe of the house was perfect, creating a welcoming atmosphere that felt like a true home away from home. We loved being able to bring our dog with us and having plenty of space to walk him around. Georgia was incredibly sweet and always quick to respond to any of our needs or questions, making the stay even more enjoyable! The location of the house was perfect. It provided a perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility, making it easy to get to nearby stores while still enjoying the peacefulness of the lake. I highly recommend this beautiful lake house and we can not wait to return!

Cute little cozy cabin. A little rough around the edges, but nice just the same. If you’re looking for quiet- the rental neighbors are kind of in your space as well- so you may or may not have a relaxing time depending on who is renting next to you at the time

Amazing view!

Watching the sunset from the screened porch was a beautiful experience. The beach was great for us and new sand was also brought in while we were there which proved to us that the owners really want the best experience for their guests. Highly recommend this property.

Best Vacation Ever!

The views from the Overlook were awsome. The screen room was a wonderful place to relax with nice rocking chairs. The kitchen was fantastc, everthing you could need and plenty of room to prepare it. The beds were comfortable, a great sleeping experience. Their Pontoon was a lot of fun. But best of all was the host herself. Georgia was a wonderful, kind and congenial person who was very responsive and always pleasant. I would highly recommend staying at the Overlook. Campfires on the beach were a delight each evening. I'd give a 10 star rating if i could.

Awesome Lake Home!

This lake home was wonderful and comfortable! Had everything we needed, an absolutely beautiful view as well as nice neighbors and super friendly deer! Our family including our 2 dogs felt right at home from the start. Georgia was amazing to work with and extremely personable and accommodating- we also rented the pontoon and had a wonderful day on the lake riding and tubing! Highly recommend and would love to come back here again and again. If laidback, peace and quiet is what you are looking for you found it with this gem!!

Vacay at Wylie

Great property with awesome beach and lake access. House was very clean and warm, kids loved it and felt right at home. Only downside was the proximity to the airport, lots of planes flying overhead. Great place though overall for a family vacation!

Lake House

Our stay was amazing.. we actually had family stay in each of the 3 houses that connect to the private beach front. we had a great time! Georgia was great with communication!

Sarah and I are both natives of Charlotte. We went to rival high schools and then rival colleges before we met after college back in Charlotte. Despite our different views on ACC basketball and football, we both agree on our love for Lake Wylie.I grew up coming to Lake Wylie on the weekends to my parents cabin located very close to Sweetwater. After college I became a General Contractor, renovated their cabin and was able to live there while the renovations took place. (LUCKY ME!) Needless to say- I was hooked! I loved Lake Wylie. I had been looking for a place of my own and jumped at the opportunity when Sweetwater came on the market. The place needed some work, however it had a certain charm that I knew couldn't be passed up. We bought this wonderful cottage, renovated it for a year, and it is now available for rent.

We have a wonderful mother, Georgia, who helps us with the management of the property. She gives all of our guests a warm welcome and is here for your accommodations.
