En plus des plaisirs d'été, la maison du lac est idéale pour héberger la famille et les amis pour les cérémonies de remise des diplômes des collèges à proximité, des dégustations de vin et pour assister aux courses annuelles de sport automobile à Watkins Glen, ou pour toute autre raison pour visiter la région des Finger Lakes. Bien sûr, il y a un tout nouveau casino à quelques kilomètres.

La maison est située à Seneca Falls sur le lac Cayuga, le plus long des cinq lacs Finger à 38 miles de longueur. Seneca Falls possède plusieurs restaurants et abrite le musée des droits de la femme.

Au point le plus au sud du lac, la ville universitaire d'Ithaca est parfaite pour les excursions non liées à l'eau. Cornell, une institution de l'Ivy League, et Ithaca College y sont situés. Cependant, Ithaca a bien plus à offrir que la vie universitaire. This is the way to spend a summer week on Lake Cayuga! Beautiful home just like photos, well stocked kitchen for family meals and cookouts. Clean, comfortable, plenty of space for our family of 6 including 2 teenagers. We rented a boat from a local owner and enjoyed the kayaks at the house. The Lake and sunsets and fireside were enjoyed by all. Easy to travel by boat to several wineries and eateries. Wine trail and state parks nearby, and Ithaca Farmers Market worth the visit. Only downside is the buggy evenings but I think that comes with Lake life in August. Don’t miss this beautiful spot, we hope to be back! Owners very responsive, thank you for a great stay!

Amazing Place

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful house. All the amenities are provided both inside and outside and everything is clean and new. We also really enjoyed the use of the dock and boat hoist. The owners are very responsive and helpful. We are definitely looking forward to visiting again next year!

I can’t say enough about the amazing week we just spent in this beautiful house Having rented many homes in this country and in Europe , I can honestly say that Tod’s house sets a new standard of excellence for vacation rentals My family felt more like welcome friends than just renters in this beautiful , spotless, fully equipped home Every little detail was perfectly thought out and made our vacation perfect from start to finish We will definitely be back next summer !!

Fabulous Cayuga lake vacation

Blue Lake House was everything we expected and more. The private location was perfectly situated on the western shore of Cayuaga Lake with walk-out lake access. The spacious house was laid out perfectly for our family. The resort-like amenities and attention to detail were spectacular and made our vacation one we will always remember. The owners were very helpful and responsive to all our questions. We highly recommend renting this goregeous home.

This property is all that is advertised. Right on the lake with a rowboat and several kayaks, floats to just float around on or to be towed behind a rental powerboat that can be kept at your own dock. Outdoor grilling and dining lakeside or plenty of room to eat indoors. My wife especially enjoyed the completely screened in porch. Tod is a great host and deserves kudos!

Amazing!!

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property. It is a gorgeous home, spacious and equipped with everything you will need to enjoy yourselves. The house was absolutely immaculate and we appreciated all that we had access to - stocked kitchen, kayaks, life jackets, plenty of towels, fire wood, outdoor grilling tools, and the list goes on. Tod was super communicative and made the process smooth and easy - though we never had an issue we needed to reach out for! The location is great - easy to get to Seneca Falls, enjoy the wine trails, state park, etc. Would highly recommend this to anyone!

Absolutely perfect!

From the minute we pulled up in front of the house till the day we had to say our sad goodbye this was an amazing house,experience and vacation! The House and the beautiful dock on the lake made it hard to leave! The area offers so much to do, visits to local wineries, distilleries and breweries. We visited the wineries on a beautiful pontoon boat that picked us up on our dock. The Aurora Inn back deck for wine and a delicious cheese plate was a nice way to spend an afternoon. We kayaked, fished from the dock and just enjoyed the view. Waking up to the sunrise and the waves hitting the shoreline was heaven! This is a special house with everything you need for a perfect vacation in the Finger Lakes! Spotless, equipped with everything you need and lots to do in the area, Five star all the way!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the New Blue Lake House! This property was perfect for our multi-generational family vacation - we had our adult son with us, plus our daughter and son-in-law with their 7-week-old baby, and there was plenty of room for everyone.The house itself is spacious and light-filled, with gorgeous lake views from just about everywhere. We loved the generously sized rooms, and having two decks was fantastic - one of them is completely screened in from floor to ceiling.The kitchen was large with a great island and the dining room has an over-sized table that made it easy to accommodate our group. There's also a four-burner outdoor grill that we made extensive use of. Everything was spotless when we arrived and the house had all the amenities we needed.Tod was an exceptional host who really went above and beyond. Even before we arrived, he was reaching out with great local recommendations for restaurants, wine tastings, and things to do. He also suggested Finger Lake Boat Rentals, which turned out to be an excellent recommendation. The folks at the boat rental place actually mentioned how lucky we were to have an owner who lets guests use the boat lift overnight - apparently a lot of rental owners don't allow that, and it made our whole boating experience much better.Having easy access to the water, just a few steps out the lower level back door, was ideal..This home has everything you could want in a vacation rental - a beautiful and well

Awesome & Amazing Lake House Vacation!

Blue Lake House is perfect for a family vacation on the western shore of Cayuga Lake. The house is immaculately clean and the best stocked house we have ever rented. The house is new, and all of the finishes are extremely high end. We had room for everyone and it felt like a high end resort! We enjoyed the screened in porch every day and every night. The beds and linens are extremely comfortable. Truly a luxury property in every sense. The kitchen and baths and entire house are stocked beyond your expectations with everything you could need on vacation. The dock and the boat lift are fantastic, and Tod provided wood for the fire pit. The location is really lovely...close to Seneca Falls, wineries, state parks, golf, great restaurants, groceries, shops, and other fun towns in the Finger Lakes. We enjoyed the kayaks, and the grill, and rented a boat for the week on Tod's suggestion which worked out perfectly. Tod was the greatest host...very welcoming and super helpful with suggestions and a speedy answer to all of my questions. He is easily reachable and the process was so smooth and flawless. Tod and his family made us feel so welcomed in their gorgeous home. This is a beautiful home and they have thought of everything!

Fantastic week at the lake

My family and I had a fantastic week at the blue lake house. Todd the owner was great to deal with from the booking process, to checking out. He always responded very quickly to any communication. On arrival the owners had provided a welcome pack, which was so thoughtful, we really did feel at home. There was everything we needed at the house and the layout was perfect for our family of 5. The house was exactly as the pictures portrayed, and the serenity and many outside seating areas worked perfectly for us. We had our own jet ski, but rented a boat for the week from finger lakes boat rentals, which was very easy, and they delivered right to the boat dock We couldn't have asked for a better week away, thank you Todd, for being such a fantastic host

What a lovely lake home — very well appointed and comfortable, with amazing views. Nothing about this house feels like a cold, sparse rental. Tod was a great host, responded immediately with questions, and his restaurant recommendations did not disappoint! We fell in love with the area and can’t wait to come back.

The house is beautiful. It looks very unassuming when you pull up and when you get inside its so lovely. It was the perfect size for our group. We especially loved the screened in porch and spent so much time in there. Tod pays attention to even small details of having vacuums and cleaning supplies easily available which during this time of coronavirus made me feel so comfortable. I would absolutely recommend staying at this home!

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL HOME

As I told Tod, the pictures do not do this property justice. It is such a beautiful home. The beds were so comfortable. The owners have spared no expense making sure their guests are comfortable and have everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was well stocked. There were kayaks and life jackets and other items for us to use in the lake. We were here with our daughter, son in law and two grandchildren. The adults were relaxing and enjoying the view so often that we didn't want to leave to go out to dinner which is rare on family vacaitons. We made memories we will treasure. Beautiful rental with an equally beautiful view

Another wonderful stay at this lakehouse. Our stay, while a short 3-day visit, was even better than our first last year. There is something about this location that makes a vacation special. It's a quiet, comfortable location that has great lake access. Both times that we stayed here, it was very clean and well-supplied. We are making our plans for next year and this is the only place we will consider. I would highly recommend this lake house rental to anyone. Thanks to Tod for renting us such a great place!

The pictures on the website do not do this house justice. Tod spared no expense making this house truely a 5 Star and beyond vacation. The amenities were fantastic, beds the most comfortable kind, and Tod was fabulous to work with. He made sure we had everything we needed and was always quick to respond. The area has everything from wineries, beer gardens and great little eateries. Wolffys, which is 3 miles North, is a great lakefront place you can take your boat to and enjoy ourdoor ior indoor eating. Food is good especially the wings! We rented a pontoon boat for the week from Finger Lake Boat Rentals and they were very affordable and really nice boats and service. We will be sure to come back again!

Beautiful house inside and out. Just bring your personal needs and you're ready for a relaxing time.

This vacation home has it all for a relaxing fun filled time. The house is equipped with all your needs from toilet paper to wood for the fire pit. The lake view is spectacular from the many windows and decks. The lake itself was clear and nice for swimming and boating with the provided kayaks. The fishing was good and an exciting activity for all. Our family, children aged 1,2,4,6 and 5 adults including grandma was very comfortable with the living arrangements. The enclosed porch and upper deck were perfect and safe for the young children to use independently. One could be together with the group or find a place of solitude. I can't say enough good things about the Blue Lake House. We all felt right at home the moment we walked through the door.
