C'est une belle maison, toute la saison, avec une vue magnifique sur les eaux scintillantes d'Eagle Harbor et d'Ephraim. Le salon dispose d'un sol d'origine en chĂȘne, une cheminĂ©e en pierre, un canapĂ©, causeuse et Ă©tagĂšres peints en blanc. Cette chambre est dĂ©corĂ©e avec goĂ»t et si bien fait, vous vous sentez immĂ©diatement Ă  l'aise dans la marche. Vous trouverez le mĂȘme dans toutes les chambres - coordonnĂ© par quelqu'un avec beaucoup de talent pour cela!

Au premier Ă©tage, la premiĂšre chambre a un lit king size, ventilateur de plafond, grande commode, et une porte donnant sur la vĂ©randa qui donne sur l'eau! Excellent! Chambre 2 a un lit queen, avec une unitĂ© tĂȘte / table de chevet, du parquet en chĂȘne naturel et un ventilateur de plafond. Toujours est en bas une salle de bain avec douche.

La cuisine est complÚte - armoires en érable, comptoir à déjeuner, table et 6 chaises, lave-vaisselle, cafetiÚre, micro-ondes, double évier, une cuisiniÚre 4 feux. Encore une fois, avec goût, spacieux, fonctionnel.

A l'étage a tous les murs et le plafond de cÚdre planking noueux - l'arÎme est merveilleux, le regard, vif et propre. Dans les piÚces principales que vous marchez à l'étage, sous les gouttiÚres, nichés sont un couple de lits jumeaux et un coin salon de télévision - une expérience de sommeil unique pour un couple d'enfants - trÚs cool, confortable et amusant. Une troisiÚme chambre arbore 2 lits jumeaux et un futon lit double aménagée dans un thÚme nautique, tandis que la 4Úme chambre (deuxiÚme étage) dispose d'un lit queen drapé dans une couverture florale de jaunes et bleus avec une vue sur le lac. Une autre salle de bain avec douche est au deuxiÚme étage.

Not at all what we expected 😡

Location great, Lakeshore not maintained at all and mostly unusable. Well water listed was way below any type of usable standards Parking not great with 3 cars. Check out time at 10 AM would have been ok if we didn’t have to wash all dishes in dishwasher and then put back in cupboard and wash and dry all the towels It was 10:03 on our check out morning and the cleaning crew came It was priced for a moderately deluxe accommodation. But would have been better for a group of fisherman, not a family Very dissapointed

Perfect getaway spot with friends

Location and house were just perfect for a weekend away with friends. The downtown is so cute. Just a lovely spot to hang by the water !

Home base for a Wedding weekend

This was a lovely property. The 5 full bedrooms and extra loft space was perfect for 5 adults, 4 teens, and elementary age kids. Kitchen supplies are a bit hodgepodge but we really never lacked anything essential. Grounds and shoreline were so lovely. Temperature control in each room and was incredibly helpful! More info about garbage and recycling would have been useful. Really great space for a multi-family gathering! Wish we could have stayed longer!

What a beautiful stay!

My husband and I had a lovely time at this house in Ephraim! The location couldn't be beat, whether you are planning on spending your time in town, or in the neighboring communities, or hiking in Peninsula State Park. The house itself is beautiful with lovely views of the bay from most bedrooms and from the large picture window in the comfortable living room. The house is very nicely modernized and decorated; whomever was responsible for the interior decorating has excellent taste. We spent lots of our time sitting outside on the comfy Adirondack chairs that look out over the bay. Just one downside: we found the mattresses on the beds to be quite hard. We think we'll be back, next time with some friends!

Beautifully remodeled!

Great property in a nice nestle of other cabins and homes. Lake Michigan frontage shared with other property owners and their friendly pets! The lake And Mother Nature has battered the beach and shoreline and eroded the beach and prohibited the install of the larger more substantial dock. The small doc was great for morning coffee and used as a jump off into the lake for some great swimming and floating! The interior has undergone recent renovations and is very inviting. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are new and overall the house was clean and it is obvious the owners have invested time and money in recent upgrades. The entire upstairs is new with hardwood floors and new bathrooms and a hang out area my teenage daughters loved! The kitchen was well stocked - the only disappointment was the bbq grill. It’s a tired old grill- but the set of bean bags made up for it! Thank you for sharing your home- we look forward to visiting again next summer.

Nice getaway

This property has a remarkable view of Ephraim and the Bay. The first floor was well appointed and in good shape. The upstairs could stand new carpet but was otherwise quite comfortable. Everyone slept well here, and it was a perfect size for our group of 8. The overflow parking is a bit tight, and one car got damaged trying to navigate that space. Overall, we had a good experience with this property.

Summer Vacation

Everything was good. House was clean and comfortable with great view of the harbor looking over towards Ephraim. All of the appliances in the kitchen appeared to have been recently updated. Only one minor issue if you are in to grilling your food, the charcoal grill was pretty sad. Fortunately, the local Shopko was going out of so we picked up a nice little kettle grill for $39.

A group of owners from the metro Milwaukee area purchased the property and renovated all the homes and cottages. This site is a gem and beloved by many visitors through the decades. It was originally called “Shack of the Bay” by the previous owners. Locals love that the property has been retained in its original style rather than torn down and replaced by “cookie cutter condos."

Once you have been lured by the Door County mystique, the property draws one to what epitomizes the area. It is ideally located near recreation areas for hiking, boating, parasailing, golfing, swimming, etc. Ephraim is conveniently located near to the cultural experiences of Door County - Birch Creek, Peninsula Players, Northern Sky are examples of cultural entertainment. A few of the restaurants that add to the impressive cuisine of the area are the Waterfront, Fred and Fuzzy’s, JJ's in Sister Bay, Chef’s Hat and Wilson’s in Ephraim. The White Gull Inn which won a national award for its cherry cream cheese French toast in located in nearby Fish Creek. Alexander’s, The English Inn, The Whistling Swan, and The Bay Side Tavern are also other wonderful choices. Parador and Village Cafe in Egg Harbor are favorites as well. In addition to the features above is the unique shopping throughout the area.
