Le meilleur des vacances au lac! Joli cottage au bord du lac Walloon Lake sur le bras nord, idéalement situé à 10 minutes de Petoskey, Bay Harbor et Walloon Lake Village. Trois chambres et deux salles de bains (une salle de bain complète et une douche). Cottage récemment meublé avec un mobilier moderne et confortable. Comprend une cuisine bien équipée, un nouveau gril à gaz, un foyer et une aire de pique-nique au bord du lac. Nouveau quai avec grand espace pour bronzer et amarrer un bateau. Grande cour avant pour jouer. Plan d'étage ouvert avec salon, salle à manger et cuisine mise à jour comprenant cuisinière à gaz, micro-ondes et lave-vaisselle. Beaux sentiers de randonnée derrière le chalet.

We had a fantastic time staying at this home. The direct access to the lake was great, hosts were very responsive and the house was clean and well stocked. We can’t wait to come back!

Walloon Adventure

Our first time exploring all of beautiful Walloon by boat….and it did not disappoint! The cottage was located in the perfect area- it was well stocked and beautifully appointed! Kristin was easy to contact and very helpful with information and recommendations. We had a wonderful week and can’t wait to go back!

Great Location On A Great Lake

This cottage was right where we wanted to be - with access for our kayak to Walloon Lake off the great dock and a short drive to Petoskey (and Charlevoix, Boyne City, etc.). Kristen was incredibly helpful with any and all questions. The kitchen rehab is way above par - we'd stay again.

We had a great time staying here for a week! My daughter got married up there and we made it a vacation and brought our pontoon up! Kristin was very quick to respond to any question. The place was wel stocked, clean, and great beds. Perfect week!

Perfect getaway

My husband, our teen daughters and I had the most relaxing week. This property was a perfect cottage getaway. We rented a boat for the week and loved having the dock so close. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Loved the comfortable beds and bedding. The furniture was well thought out and had an interesting designer vibe. Would highly recommend staying here to friends and family.

Cute house in great location

We had a wonderful week. Kristin was so awesome communicating with us and so helpful. So sweet how she left us welcome smore kit and provided beach towels and great kitchen amenities. Loved the dock for boat we rented for week. Loved firepit too. Beds were comfy. Only thing we didnt expect was how tiny the 2nd bathroom was which made it hard for 2 couples. Walloon is gorgeous!

Perfect little cottage for our family of four plus Grandma and Grandpa for a lovely week on quiet Lake Walloon. The views are amazing, and we really enjoyed sitting on the dock. The house is well stocked with everything we needed and it was very clean. The beds were comfortable and beach and bathroom linens were great quality. The owner was responsive and easy to work with. The only downside I will say is the house ONLY has the 2 upstairs AC units. With fans going and the ACs running, the house does cool down, but the kitchen and back bedroom/bathroom have no air flow and get warm/stuffy. The tub/showers could really benefit from an update as well.

Great Getaway!

Nice relaxing week on Walloon Lake! The cottage is very nice and fit our needs perfectly. Enjoyed many hours at the end of the dock and the front porch - - very relaxing lakeside. Enjoyed great golf close by as well as Petosky and Harbor Springs. Owner was great and easy to deal with. Highly recommend this property.

A wonderful stay!

We had a great stay at this beautiful home! The lake is right across the street. The host had so many thoughtful touches in the house. Our family had a great time building a fire by the lake in their fire pit. The dock is large and has great seats for enjoying the view of the lake or to use as a base for swimming. We would love to come back for another stay.

We enjoyed the Walloon area. Kristin’s home is very clean with a well equipped kitchen with a comfortable living room and beds. During the week we stayed there (2nd week in August) the lake bottom was quite mucky. Also, not apparent on renting, there is a two lane black-topped road between the house and the lake. Fortunately it has little traffic. Lastly, from the location of this rental it appeared we were only on a small lake, maybe a mile wide. Though that allowed it to be quiet there was no vista of Walloon

Wonderful Walloon Lake Family Vacation

My husband, myself, and our three boys had a lovely stay at the property. The property was nicely updated, clean, and well stocked. We especially loved the location on the lake and the large dock. Our boys loved fishing off of the dock and were able to catch a lot of small perch. The owner was also kind to share her paddle boards, which were a lot of fun. We look forward to staying again!

Clean, charming, great location, easy to work with Kristen. On the water, a place to dock your boat, easy access to golfing, shopping and dinning in nearby Boyne Mountain, Village of Walloon, Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Something to do in all weather conditions. We will definitely return.

Beautiful and convenient location

Enjoyed our 8 night Fall getaway. Property is exactly as listed with easy access to nearby towns (Day trips) and conveniences (shopping, food). Went for many walks and bike rides in the neighborhood which was quiet and peaceful. Loved sitting out on the spacious dock. Would certainly stay again!

Wonderful stay!

My family and I had a phenomenal stay at Kristin's place on Walloon Lake. It's a perfect location, 15 minutes to downtown Petosky and a short drive to Charlevoix, Harbor Spring, Boyne, and Walloon Village as well. The location on the lake is on a quiet, peaceful arm of the lake. We brought up our speedboat, and the dock was perfect to tie our boat up to. The upstairs bedrooms are spacious and include air conditioning units! They appear to be newly installed and were great for the hot summer days. While there was not air conditioning units downstairs it was not necessary, and were cool day and night. The house is stylishly decorated with new appliances, and extremely comfortable beds. Kristin was extremely accomodating and easily accessible by email and phone when we had questions for her. We will surely return to Kristin's place next summer!

Wonderful house and location with great views of the lake

Our five night stay with family was fabulous! The house is well stocked with lush towels, everything necessary in the kitchen including ”somemore” makings, games for rainy days and air conditioning for the upstairs. We are excited to return next year and will share our experience with others looking for a summer “gem!”

Walloon Cottage

The cottage was extremely clean & well appointed. Linens were excellent & beds were comfortable. Walloon is a gorgeous lake and the fall color was spectacular. Thank you for a great place to stay and enjoy it.
