Nice Quiet Condo

The condo was nice and clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The area was very quiet a great spot for a family - girls weekend.

The condo was well stocked and decorated nicely. The hot tub was a fantastic relaxation after hiking and cycling. The two negatives i would have to say are the walls could use a refresh as there are many chips in the paint and it makes the place look worn. The other was the master bed mattress sags in the middle and we found ourselves rolling into each other at night. That did not make for a sound sleep. I would stay again and i hope these two items are taken care of.

We had a very comfortable stay. One thing we have been spoiled with at all our accommodations in kickinghorse is a mitt and boot dryer. We did miss that since the weather was +2 and rain, then down to -20 C so wet gear had to be dried on the vents. It’s not in the list, and we still managed just fine. Thank you. Service was great. I loved the phone land line. It made calls to book lessons etc easy using a local number.

Quiet and clean

The property was what we expected and matched the online photos and description. The hot tub was very clean and nice to soak after our day or bike riding. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfortable. There were some small maintenance issues with the unit/accessories but overall, it did not affect our stay. We reported the issues to the property manager who I assume, will address them. (Patio door lock, hair dryer was not working and the TV cable box and remote needed attention). I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Elk Valley Fall Fly Fishing Trip

Sep 11-22. By myself first week. Had friends visit for last 4-nights. Second time staying at Stone Creek Chalets and had another great stay. FCR responded quickly to an issue with the dishwasher latch. Couple issues included poor lighting and the dishwasher, once latching, still did a poor job even of well rinsed dishes. Other than that a well stocked kitchen with a great number of dishe# and sharp knives! Thanks!

Very nice condo

The condo was nice and clean being recently renovated. Kitchen was well stocked and the ski in at the end of the day was very good. The mattresses are extremely firm, too firm for my preference. Otherwise we had a very nice ski trip. The cleanliness of the hot tub when we arrived was bad as it didn’t have chlorine and needed chemicals. The tub water was murky and very foamy/greasy. Chemicals were eventually added which was appreciated. Unfortunately the hot tub cleanliness is not held to the same standard of cleanliness as the rest of the condo’s. The rating on this would be 1 star.

Great Getaway for Mom Friends

We loved the location and the privacy. The hot tub was our favourite part. Having it so accessible right on the deck overlooking the creek was FANTASTIC and SO relaxing.

Good place to stay in Fernie

Place was as described and exceeded our expectations. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for cooking and Diana was great to deal with. You can ski right into the parking lot and it's at most a 10 minute walk to the lifts (but very doable). Hot tub was great as well. Would stay here again!

Great Condo

Great condo. Well equipped kitchen, lots of games, very clean. It’s a bit of a hike to the ski hill so if you want true ski in and out this might not be for you. But having our own hot tub was worth that trade off.

Great place for my family

This place is awesome for my family with beautiful autumn colors. My kids enjoyed very much with hot tub after a long mountain bike. The location is close to a bike trail and surrounded by many trees.

Simple, comfortable and convenient. There is actually room for 1-2 more people as there is a sofa bed. Four men fit comfortably with that option.
