House is beautiful

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is beautiful, what a great stay, it had plenty of room for the amount of people we had staying. And what a bonus with 2 full size refrigerator's. Would definitely stay again. I think the beds need to be replaced though.

Our 5th year at Driftwood

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this house. Everyone has their own bedroom and bathroom. We love have 3 refrigerators and an ice machine. The pool is fantastic and the deck we use constantly. The only negative is the queen mattress in the upstairs bedroom. It needs to be replaced and I have mentioned this many times to Garden City. 2 people cannot sleep in it as they roll into each other in the middle. The owner really needs to get a new one.

Best Vacation House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful house and suited our needs perfectly. We had 3 families with a total of 11 people with 5 kids. The pool and jacuzzi were got a lot of use. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. If I had to recommend anything to change it would be to add an awning on the deck. It bakes with the sun all day and there is very little shade under the small overhang.

Driftwood is Close to Perfect

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: On the beach! House has plenty of room. Pool was great.Three refrigerators and ice maker were outstanding. Only thing negative is that for a house that holds so many people, there wasn’t enough seating in den and the recliner needed a crane to get out of!

Good time at Driftwood

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is very nice with a not too crowded beach. The house is clean and well maintained as well as well stocked with amenities. I would suggest larger bath towels rather than the sample size shampoo, etc. amenity kits.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house had it all! Terrific pool, though small and a nice spa. The spa was concrete and connected to the pool...lovely! Nice balcony and super beachy views. Rooms were clean and lots of towels and linens were provided. Every kitchen appliance in the world!

Points forts : Emplacement, exactitude de l’annonce
Points faibles : Propreté
The house was extremely dirty. The ice maker in the wet bar was covered in mold. All kitchen utensils had a thin layer of grease and needed to be washed before we could use them. The furniture was visibly brown from dirt and sand. Also, the county was doing a beach refurbishment project, and our beach access was blocked for an entire day. The rental agency did not inform us of this until the morning it happened, after we walked outside and saw caution tape blocking our walkway. For the rest of the week, our beach view was obstructed by porta-potties and heavy construction machinery. Which means the extra money we paid for a beachfront property was absolutely wasted, and I have no doubt the rental agency had access to that information before that morning. The house was large enough for our 10-person family to enjoy comfortably, and for everyone to have their own bathroom. The rockers on the patio were also lovely.

Our experience.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First the house was great overall! A couple things that could be better: get rid of coffee table and put big ottoman there, 2 rockers on porch had arms that were broken, washing machines spin cycle on first washing doesn’t work you had to do the second spin to get clothes spun dry. We would definitely come back😀

Wonderful stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve always stayed in a condo and this was the first time staying in a home. There is no going back! This home was well appointed with everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfortable (the twins beds were not quite as comfortable), The pool and hot tub were an added bonus. It was bike week, so it was a little noisy but we expected that. The kitchen could have been better organized but had everything we needed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home overall not bad. Mainly disappointed in the mgmt company who never supplied some is the items we asked for. We talked to the company 3x, and they said it would be delivered each time. I gave up calling them. For what I paid for a week, sorely disappointed!

Driftwood Beach Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time and the property was ideal. We were allowed to check-in about 2 1/2 hours early, which was awesome. The location was about a quarter mile from the last home we rented three years ago - on the beautiful beach, with a nice pool that was sun exposed and stayed warm. The ocean and pool temps were both ideal. It is worth the drive from Pennsylvania. The home was well-appointed...could have used a few more kitchen items (eg. Tupperware) but was good. The pool had not been cleaned due to a recent storm, but GCR quickly remedied that item. The only maintenance item we reported was the garbage disposal, with which there was a problem...no big deal. We had a fantastic week at the beach in an ideal property. It was a plus that every bedroom had an accompanying bath too.

Great Family Vacay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very clean and up to date. Plenty of room for our family of 8 adults and 5 kids. We filled both refrigerators and used the laundry room every day. All the rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Being steps from the ocean and private pool with hot tub made it relaxing and convenient. We spent a lot of time in the rocking chairs on the deck. We were just minutes away from the many seafood restaurants on hwy 17.

Wish Hot Tub had been usable

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is my 3rd stay at this property. (My sister has rented as well). I only wish that I had been contacted ahead of time that the hot tub was not going to be usable during our stay and offered alternative rental options or a chance for full refund to seek other options. Last year it was broken as well. The weather was cooler and we were looking so forward to this amenity. When I reached out upon their opening on Monday, I was simply told it was not likely going to be fixed for our stay and a very small ( not even one night) fee is supposed to be refunded. It hasn’t yet been refunded. For well over 5,000.00 for a 1 week stay, I expected better customer service. Rugs were dirty and need to be replaced. Same ones as original stay years ago. Upstairs master bed squeaks every time you roll over and kitchen is badly organized. TVs in bedrooms are very small. Table in living area was broken upon arrival and peg was in a plastic bag on the table. Location is perfect and views are wonderful. But so are hundreds of other properties that would have been less expensive with working hot tub.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Driftwood. Have already rented it for next year. A few friendly suggestions: the queen mattress upstairs is awful, needs to be replaced as well as the twin next to the windows downstairs. Need some sharp knives in kitchen and a good frying pan. We had some very loud neighbors next door this year. Had to call management and they were helpful. Hopefully, they won't be there next year!
