House was great and spot on from all of the descriptions from the owner. We had our family join us for Thanksgiving which included six adults and three children, and the room layout was perfect with the Jack and Jill bathroom set up. Kitchen was well stocked to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. Rooms were spacious and the living room big enough for the 9 of us. The beach in front of the house is clean and feels very private. Walk to the pier and plenty of restaurants makes this an ideal location. I highly recommend this place and would definitely book again.

The house was very spacious , loved being right on the beach. The owner “John” got back with us immediately when we needed to contact him. Dislikes- we didn’t like getting in so late and having to make our own beds and then pay for our own linens to rent . The pool was to be heated and it felt the same throughout the entire stay -no change. The pool guy came once and we had to make sure to shut off the water in the pool when he was filling it up because he left.
Went for a walk and this was our home out front for the week.

Sunswept is a beautiful place with stunning views from the deck as well as all of the rooms facing the ocean. The home is tastefully decorated with a beautiful seaside vibe. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals or serve takeout meals. There is a large living space for our family of 15 to hang out, as well as plenty of comfy bedrooms and bathrooms for privacy. The half bath on the main floor was especially convenient. We enjoyed the spacious deck, the patio with a nice heated pool and being able to walk straight out the back door to the beach. It’s close to everything. We walked to restaurants, fished at the pier, ate tons of ice cream from Drippy’s and strolled the beach. John is an exceptional host with great communication from day one. We had no issues with the home, but I feel sure he would remedy any quickly. Sunswept is a perfect fit for our growing family of eight adults and seven children and has become our new favorite vacation home. We plan to reserve it again next year!

Perfect family getaway

Our family was in town for the triple crown nationals baseball tournament recently. We couldn’t have asked for a better location! It was a 15-20 minute (very easy) drive to the fields. Beachfront and walking distance to multiple really great restaurants and the surfside pier. Our extended family was thrilled with the convenience of everything, as well as the calm and quietness of the neighborhood. The home accommodated 9 adults and 4 children with ease. What a great place! We would rent again if the opportunity comes again! Thank you

This house is in a perfect location. Being on the beach is clutch, but also being able to walk to the pier a food and ice cream and shopping is an huge plus. Additionally, the house is just the right size for a three generation vacation.

Everything was good. There was a problem with the patio door lock that John let us know about before we even got there. He fixed it himself as soon as he could. The house was clean and we loved it.

Sunswept surfside

Travel to Surfside/ Garden City area every year for the past 15 years. Usually book with a realty company, first time using Vrbo for our annual trip. Enjoyed our stay. Owner responded to questions promptly and check in was super simple!

Still wonderful the second time around

We stayed at Sunswept before, albeit about 4-5 years ago, and I'm happy to say it's still the same great place. It has been well maintained and kept tidy. If you choose the linen service, just know that the sheets size labels are fading a bit. Unfortunately it was a bit too chilly to get the pool heated up, but that was communicated in advance so no worries. All in all a great house in a great location!

20th Anniversary Get Away

The house was the perfect size for all of us. John was very responsive as the host. The tropical storm put a bit of a damper on the trip because water got in the house through some broken seals on windows and the sliding glass door. There was also a strange odor that is possibly mold but im just guessing. Overall the location was perfect. We had a wonderful time.

Wonderful place!

This place was amazing. We have stayed in a lot of different beach houses. This one is in the top 2. Clean. Spacious! The only thing slightly negative was the water pressure was low in some of the showers at times! But this is not uncommon. We were very pleased and will definitely inquire about staying again when we return to Surfside. My standards are high and we highly recommend this property.

Gorgeous ocean views!

Perfect location and proximity to Surfside Beach center and the pier. Riding golf carts was our favorite activity of the week, besides the beach of course. The boardwalk to the beach was so awesome, someone prior to our stay had left some beach toys which was handy because we flew in from Nashville and couldn't pack a lot. The kids loved the pool. The only critiques that we had were about a few house updates with furniture and TVs. The dryer was a little slow to dry and sometimes needed an extra cycle. We could have used a few extra pillows as well. All in all, we had an excellent family vacation and look forward to returning! Thank you Mr. Husso.

Sunswept!!!!

We travelled with the whole family! Our three kids, their spouses and our 5 grandkids! We had an amazing week at the house!!! Everything was as described! There was plenty of room for all! It was very clean! With the pool and the beach and the great little town of Surfside beach
 we couldn’t ask for more! Polling the family
