I have stayed in several oceanfront homes along the coast and this home is one of the most beautiful and cleanest I’ve experienced. The private pool was maintained during our stay, awesome. I also love the way the linens were provided! Everything was spectacular from the home decor to the oceanfront views to the private pool. The beach was clean, not crowded, and a fantastic view from the walkway. I enjoyed the walkway bench everyday. The kitchen has all the essential cookware and utensils to prepare a meal inside or on the grills. John, the homeowner, was very responsive when contacted. The website information and detailed information provided by John is accurate and helped me plan our trip without surprises. I highly recommend this location for the ultimate oceanfront experience. We plan to stay again next year. Thanks John!

This house is in a perfect location. Being on the beach is clutch, but also being able to walk to the pier a food and ice cream and shopping is an huge plus. Additionally, the house is just the right size for a three generation vacation.

This home was exactly what our family of eleven was looking for. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The beach access makes everyday on the beach easy with young children and grandparents. We spent hours in and around the pool cooling off after riding the surf and playing in the sand. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for preparing meals. We walked to restaurants, the pier, even a local gift shop. The bedrooms have plenty of storage making unpacking for the week very easy. They are carpeted and could be updated. It was nice to have twin beds and not bunks in the jack and jill room. The two king masters are beach facing and wonderful. The laundry area is located in a very accessible location upstairs with the bedrooms. A new home was being constructed across the street and it was interesting to watch how swiftly it was going up with a small crew of hard workers. The small deck on the front of the home provided an excellent observation area. They were a minor disturbance in the morning until we got used to the powerful nail sound. The home will be completed in no time. We would love to return to this property and all it has to offer for another perfect week at the beach in Surside, SC.

House was great and spot on from all of the descriptions from the owner. We had our family join us for Thanksgiving which included six adults and three children, and the room layout was perfect with the Jack and Jill bathroom set up. Kitchen was well stocked to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. Rooms were spacious and the living room big enough for the 9 of us. The beach in front of the house is clean and feels very private. Walk to the pier and plenty of restaurants makes this an ideal location. I highly recommend this place and would definitely book again.

Sunswept surfside

Travel to Surfside/ Garden City area every year for the past 15 years. Usually book with a realty company, first time using Vrbo for our annual trip. Enjoyed our stay. Owner responded to questions promptly and check in was super simple!
