A super property with plenty of space, a great view, all appliances, and kitchen supplies to cook meals. Walkable to both the town and the oceanside bars for sunset. The host was responsive and very helpful. We miss playing cards and having snacks on the patio already!

Fantastic stay at this perfectly situated home. The house was absolutely spotless and the yard was an oasis. Light, bright and airy. We could walk into the village center or down around the corner to the natural pools and beach side bars. Seven adults and a baby did not feel crowded in this surpringly spacious house.

Great Location in Mosteiros

Nice property that comfortably fit 7 adults. Mosteiros is at the Western end of Sao Miguel so we did a lot of driving, but great location and walka Le to everything in town. Short walk around the corner for great sunsets. Pack a picnic or go to the two bars with great drinks and views. Host was easy to deal with and very helpful. Would return

Fantastic

Very peaceful and relaxing home overlooking the water in the quaint village of Mosteiros. My five friends and I rented for a week in late Jan/early Feb and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Samuel was very quick to reply to texts and helpful throughout our stay. We would highly recommend.

Magnificent Mosteiros

Mosteiros is an absolute dream. The location of this property was fantastic. You can easily walk to great restaurants including O Americo, Sunset Steve’s Bar, and Seaside Vibez. Also an easy walk to the market, where you can purchase everything you need. You can also walk to the natural piscinas (swimming holes) and Mosteiros beach. If you’re looking for a relaxing time, this is a great location. The property itself served our basic needs. Spacious and equipped with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and 3 showers (one being the outdoor shower, which we loved!). Having access to a washer/ dryer was also great! The linens were very clean/ new. The view and outdoor space of the property is unmatched! Few little minor things. The beds were ok- not the most comfortable but good enough! One bedroom upstairs had a very squeaky/ old frame which we could not sleep on because it was so loud. Overall, we loved the house and location! Would recommend!

Unforgettable Visit

Six of us spent six nights at this beautiful home on the coast and could not have been more pleased. For three weeks we stayed at properties throughout Portugal and this home was the only one that felt like we were guests in a real home. The property has everything one could ask for ~ a fully stocked kitchen, a beautifully decorated interior, comfortable furnishings, outdoor furniture and umbrellas, a BBQ grill, a washer & dryer, comfortable beds, books, TV (which we did not use), a telescope, etc. The location within the town was perfect. The house faces an incredible ocean view of massive waves crashing on a rocky coast. Within minutes, you could walk to markets, restaurants, other view sites, the town square, etc. The neighborhood felt totally safe. The location within the island was exceptional. I don't think that there's another location on the island that offers the same proximity to the ocean, natural hot baths, and the famous extinct volcano crater Lagoa das Sete Cidades. The town of Mosteiros, within which the property lies, is a good 45-minute drive along a pretty windy two-lane road. Drivers are courteous and have patience with those unfamiliar with the area. Driving our 8-passenger van was a bit challenging on some drives and within narrow side streets during some of our excursions. Enjoy!

What a gem! Amazing views and great house.

House was clean and fully stocked. Restaurants and small grocery store in easy walking distance. We loved the hammocks and front porch. Recommend renting a car to tour the rest of the island. Sete Cidades is a 15 min drive and just gorgeous if you like hiking. Samuel was a great host and answered all our questions! We hope to come back soon!

Awesome Location

The property was immaculately clean and generously supplied. We found a bottle of local wine and cookies as a welcome gift (very nice touch). There were also 110V converter plugs in every room for people traveling from N America. Beach and shopping bags were also in every room. The property manager was very responsive. We took advantage of the outdoor shower which has a view of the N Atlantic (very cool). The towels are like new and the bedding was as well. Bottom line is, we would stay here again.
