This was a very cute place. So close to shopping and dining. Also only a short walking distance to the wine trolley, which was perfect! Property owners were quick with communication and very accommodating! The West Suite is suited best for 2-3 people as it has one bathroom. It is a comfortable stay and I would recommend it to others:)
Property was great! The walls are a bit thin and we did hear some other folks that were staying in other units on the property. Parking could be an issue, but we did great with it.
The rental was very nice! Everything youd want. It was our first VRBO, so didnt do everything exactly right, but called the help desk and it was quickly resolved. Very nice place close to downtown.
Clint and Beth were great hosts and responsive. The space was clean and had the perfect amount of room for me and my friends. Loved the location of Wine Alley and the courtyard was a cool place to hang out at the end of the day. Definitely recommend 4th Street Pizza. We went there twice during our stay. Lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance.
We stayed one night on our way through to Southern Missouri. The parking was difficult. There was really nowhere to unload that was convenient. The place was clean. The toilet did rock a bit. Overall, it did the job for our one night that we needed, but the noise of the traffic kept my husband awake a lot of the night.
Wine Alley West was a convenient and clean place. It's close to the Amtrak station, wineries, shopping, and eating. The owners provide many amenities with needed kitchen accessories including silverware, bowls and dishes. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels were provided for showers. Layout of kitchen and living space was pleasant. Plenty of outlets for charging cords.
We had a great stay. Very clean. Smooth check in process. It rained but trolly service was great! We called and they picked us up near our place and then even dropped us off near our place.
You do have to walk up a pretty dark alley to get to your place. Just a little unnerving but I do feel Hermann is a safe place.
Was great for what we needed, we were able to walk to everything in town (shopping, food, drinks) And the Trolley picked us up right at the bottom of the alley which was super easy.
The only hiccup was the parking, if you stay try to park on the street vs. the parking behind the wine alley suites. Our car was fine but leaving and coming down the alley there is a large dip that is hard to see.
The unit was clean. Everything worked. Seemed pretty quiet. The location was close enough to walk to everything in about 10-15 minuets, we used the trolly, that stops at Wine Alley to get to the wineries and distilleries that were farther out. That was a lot of fun.The furniture was hard and uncomfortable. We had to use the pillow shams to add cushioning to the chairs & sofa. This wasn't the best, but it also wasn't the worst VRBO that we've stayed in. It was available & on the lower end of prices for Hermann. The best thing I can say is that it was adequate.
I stayed here with my girls for my bachelorette party. The place was actually really cute and worked out great for us. Only thing was, was the b&b manager didnât send me the right code to get into the house, so we had to find something to do for 4 hours until she finally responded with the right code. Also, parking was a bit tricky because of the bad road conditions and my car being so low to the ground. But other than that it was a really good and comfortable stay!
