Contrairement à un B&B traditionnel, la suite d'hÎtes Grapevine est entiÚrement à vous. Situé au 4e et à Schiller dans le quartier historique d'Hermann, ce chalet de 1897 pour deux offre une intimité totale, à quelques pas des restaurants, des boutiques, des musées et plus encore.

Everything was just perfect! We didn't really use the kitchen because of all the nearby food options but it was stocked with coffee, water, soda, and even some snacks! The bedroom was large and cozy; the bathroom was spacious with a beautiful tub and an amazing shower! It even snowed a bit and our host cleared the sidewalk and walkway for us! We loved our stay and we'll definitely be back!!

Very enjoyable stay!

OMG i can't say enough times how beautiful this place is. For some reason after reading another review i assumed this was a tiny-to-small house. Boy was I wrong. This place is perfect for 2. Highlight #3 was the king-size bed(room) that's very comfy & roomy. The 2 seat "dining" table in the bedroom was no different than if it was a hotel room. It wasnt in the way nor dustracting. It was quite cozy & we LOVED it. Yes the kitchen area is small but we chose to see it as quaint. The bathroom, the shower (with rain shower head, the hand held shower wand & the 4 body shower heads) with the glass shower doors & the jacuzzi tub was highlight #2. Highlight #1 is the patio. Though the weather wasnt the best for enjoying it fully it was perfect! Its so big & spacious. There's seating for 6, a firepit (didn't use due to rain) & a grill (didnt use due to rain & short trip). All in all this place & the host Jenna (so sweet!) gets 1000 stars from us. Check in/out was smooth, communication was great, home was clean. Our stay was perfect!

Relaxation is key

We took a small get away without our kids and enjoyed our stay!! This place was immaculately decorated, clean, and just cozy. Even the smallest things were thought about!! If you need somewhere to stay and you want to relax, this is the place to do it.

Weekend getaway

The home is perfect for a couple. The bedroom is a great size. The bathroom is upgraded to include a nice jetted tub, large shower, and even a vanity area. The kitchen is small, but I wasn’t there to cook. It’s in a great location that I was able to walk to dinner and drinks . It was perfect for us

Anniversary Weekend

My husband and I just celebrated our 23rd wedding Anniversary and spent the weekend in Herman (Friday-Monday). The house is walking distance to most places. We walked from the house to main street and visited shops & a couple of distilleries. The house itself is very small, but cozy. The bedroom with a King bed was great - LOTS of pillows & extra blankets. The kitchen is tiny, however, all we needed was the stove, oven and fridge for quick meals in. The house does not have a living room, which I did miss that aspect, because it was a little different not having a couch or a sitting chair in the bedroom. We ate a couple of meals and it was a little odd eating the in the bedroom at the high top 2-person table. We used the DVD player and that was nice. The bathroom is awesome! Tub is big enough for 2 & the shower was really nice. Loved the area to do my hair/makeup. We also used the outdoor gas firepit. We had a really sunny day on Sunday so that was very nice. This home is VERY clean!!!!! The ONLY complaint that I have was not having a living room space but that's my fault since I didn't realize that before we booked. It's not a game changer for us though! Communication with owner was top notch! Also, the museum that is across the street would ring it's bell on each hour, but we got used to it and it didn't bother us.

Grapevine Suite- all you could ever need!

Great location and very clean. All amenities were thought of. Great communication from Jenna. Loved the patio and fire pit, and large jacuzzi tub. Bed was very comfortable and perfect amount of space for a get away! Very well maintained and loved how it was decorated. Felt very welcoming and homey from first step in! Definitely would stay again!

Amazing!!!

The pictures do not even do it justice!! The property was amazing and in the best location. We parked our vehicle and walked everywhere both days. The walk to the trolly was less than 5 minutes and that was the farthest distance for everything! Will be booking again in the future!

Greetings Grapevine Guests!

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves as the new innkeepers/owners of the Grapevine Guest Suite effective October 31, 2016.

The three of us, Michele, Lisa, and Dawn, are sisters. The “locals” refer to us as “the Derby girls”. We were born and raised on a farm just south of Hermann. We attended St. George School eight years and graduated from Hermann High School. The oldest of us, Michele, works at a local bank and lives in Hermann with her daughter who is a student at St. George. Lisa, the middle sister, is a sixth grade reading teacher and she and her husband (Nick) and two foster daughters live north of Hermann. The youngest of us, Dawn, also lives in Hermann and works as a lab technician.

All three of us were employed at guest houses here in Hermann during our high school and college years. Dawn first started working for Mick and Michele, the previous owners of the Grapevine, over eight years ago. Mick always encouraged Dawn to someday purchase a guest house of her own, so it’s quite a coincidence that we are purchasing one of their guest houses. As some of you may know, Mick recently passed, but his wife Michele has so kindly given her time to pass along her knowledge and experience to help make this transition as smooth as possible.

We will strive to maintain the same level of quality and service as in the past and hope to exceed your expectations. We hope you will return to the Grapevine and welcome any suggestions to improve your stay with us.
