Do not book!!

Seemed nice at first, friendly owner… After a few days we realized that most of the showers were broken and that there were bed bugs (pharmacy confirmed it). Also, the owner showed up unannounced every day!! So we did not have privacy at all, felt controlled and watched. Would not recommend booking!

Dear Fabienne, thank you very much for letting us know about all above mentioned. We have talked to the owner and did the property inspection just after seeing your feedback, and we can confirm that there were no bed bugs (we did a proper inspection) and no one else complained about this kind of issue ever. The bed linen is made of white cotton and goes to the official laundry that works at high temperatures and with professional detergents and is ironed with steam rollers. We have solve all other mentioned things as we aim to provide our dear guests the accommodation as listed with an extra care and we always aim for a 5-star reviews, which we had until your stay. The interior refurbishment is in the process and the owner will have an English speaking host in future to avoid the language barrier or misunderstandings. We again thank you for letting us know that there were some issues with your stay, and this is the only way that we can improve our offer. We would be thankful if you have called us the first day you have noticed some issues, then your you would have felt better for the remaining days. We wish you all the best and really hope to see you again. Kindest regards from us and the owner.

grand confort et vue exceptionnelle

merci encore pour cette villa, les enfants ont été au paradis, et la crique à 2km est magnifique (40 kunas la journée pour une voiture mais ça vaut vraiment le coup ). tout est en très bonne état, literie, électroménager.

Lovely two weeks at Villa Ana

We were a party of 15 spanning 3 generations. We had a great time at the villa, enjoying the uninterrupted view of the sea on one side and the mountains on the other. The villa is in a quiet location. Cars are necessary to visit the coast or to travel to Omis or Split. There are lots of activities to do in Omis, plus supermarkets and restaurants (particularly in the old town). The pool at the villa is a good size. The large basement room has a pool table etc plus a washing machine and toilet. The two apartments on floor above share a large balcony. The two apartments above that share a smaller balcony and are almost on the same level as the communal dining room adjacent the pool area. The single, larger apartment on the top floor has a large balcony and also a fridge/freezer, an oven, microwave and dishwasher. The sofa beds in the four smaller apartments are comfy (as are the beds) and each kitchenette has a fridge and a microwave. All the main bedrooms have separate access to a balcony. The villa is well furnished and is well maintained. The owners are friendly: they discreetly water the outdoor plants most mornings: they also left us a jug of their good red wine on arrival. Petra from the local agency was very responsive and helpful – she helped to bridge the language barrier as the owners have German as a second language and do not speak much English. The main reason for not giving a 5th star in this review is the lack of a communal lounge area. Also a dishwasher and oven in the communal dining area would be useful. Having said that, we made the arrangement work well for us. We would definitely recommend this villa as a good base for a holiday in Croatia.
