Profitez d'une vue imprenable sur la vallée et la rivière Shenandoah à 2000 pieds sur le flanc de la montagne! Les portes françaises de la suite parentale et du salon s'ouvrent sur une terrasse à 2 niveaux, moitié couverte et moitié non couverte.

Les équipements modernes incluent un grill, un bain à remous, une télévision de 55 pouces dans le salon, une télévision dans chaque chambre et DirecTV partout! Profitez d'Internet gratuit, de la climatisation centrale, d'une machine à glaçons et d'un Keurig!

La suite principale comprend un lit king-size, un accès privé à la terrasse et au bain à remous et une salle de bain complète. De nouveaux meubles de patio vous permettront de vous détendre en un rien de temps. Et un vrai poêle à bois pour une touche rustique. Vous vous sentirez rafraîchi et renouvelé après quelques jours dans Overlook Cabin!

REMARQUE: Le dernier mile de la cabine est sur une route de gravier qui est parfois à une seule voie et parfois raide. NOUS FOURNISSONS UNE JEEP pour les clients ayant besoin d'un véhicule à dégagement plus élevé pour gravir la route de montagne! (sans frais, mais la réservation de la jeep est obligatoire)

We loved this little cabin. It’s extremely comfortable and the view is spectacular (and you can enjoy it from the hot tub !) Unless you have a4-wheel drive with good clearance, we recommend taking one of the Jeeps the owner offers up to the house.

Property was as “comfortable” as advertised…pictures listed with the property did not do justice to the panoramic views from the deck. Kitchen was adequately stocked with the necessary provisions…all appliances were clean and well maintained. Would definitely book this cabin again! Propane grill was clean and ready to go…a big plus added to the outdoor vibe.

Check-in and checkout was flawless. Cabin was amazing and has everything you need to be comfortable from the kitchen amenities to bathroom to laundry! Views are breath taking!! Will be staying again in the future! I will say an SUV did make it easy to get up and down the mountain, no paved roads all dirt. Great waterfall hike nearby as well!! Family enjoyed our get away. 10 out of 10 would stay here all over again!

Cleanest cabin with the best view

This cabin was perfect. Very clean, great view and organized. It was interestingly situated high up on a mountain and it was a lot of fun for us to drive the jeep (that host provided) to go up and down the hill on the rocky roads, very adventurous. I would definitely recommend it. It was just the two of us but the cabin can comfortably fit in a lot more people.

Relaxing in the mountains

What a delightful break from the city. I spent 5 nights relaxing in the hot tub, watching the stars and reading. The cabin was clean and cozy. The staff on the mountain were very helpful and kind. I can't wait to come back and visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Brian's property. He was in quick response with the booking, and everything exceeded expectations. Amazing views, and the hot tub was incredible. We appreciated the Roku TV too! I would recommend staying here, thanks again!

Thanksgiving at Overlook

Wonderful cabin for the holiday! Spectacular views and gorgeous sunsets. The waterfall walk was great and we saw wild turkeys on the trail. The road is a challenge, but what a beautiful destination!

View doesn't disappoint

Our weekend was perfect! We loved the view and the hike to the waterfall was so peaceful (smaller than anticipated when we got there, but still beautiful). The house was decorated to be so homey and comfortable with lots of games to choose from when we wanted a break from the TV. We were snowed in but felt so comfortable the whole weekend! It lives up to the hype!

Great location close to so many things to do. Good cabin for any occasion, cozy but with plenty of room. Clean, comfortable and you cannot beat the deck and view. My husband and i just loved it. I wouldnt mind having a girls weekend there too! We recommend!!

Wonderful views, wonderful stay.

This was our second time staying at this particular cabin and it was wonderful. Amazing views, hot tub on the deck overlooking the mountain. The deck also has some roof cover so we could enjoy sitting out and listening to the rain. Super comfy bed and great amenities like streaming tv services and a well designed kitchen. Thank you for having such a beautiful retreat cabin!!

A great property in a fantastic location. Getting up the hill was slightly tricky but that was communicated well in advance and appreciated. The cabin was awesome. The wood stove was lovely, the views were amazing, and the hot tub was a great amenity.

Absolutely Gorgeous!

We used this magnificent cabin for a home base while visiting state parks in the area. The problem was the cabin is so wonderful that we didn’t want to leave! It is a perfect get away with breathtaking views. I cannot say enough good about the cabin and the wonderful owners. We will definitely be back and we will schedule nothing else but hanging out at the cabin.

Amazing view!

The view is Amazing! Better than the pictures! The place was clean and everything went super smooth. Definitely going back up there in the future. My small Honda had a rough time up the rocky road so a pick up, jeep or SUV is recommended

Hi Kalle! I am so glad you enjoyed your first stay at Overlook Cabin! Out first trip up there was in June 2012, and we were in my Honda Accord. And I also admit the first time or two up the hill was a little scary. But after that, we take our cars up there all the time – just regular sedans – and no problem. (Unless there’s snow on the road, which is another story!) it just takes a little getting used to. Thanks again for choosing our beautiful getaway, and we hope you come again!
