Ou détendez-vous et profitez de la vue sur le pont depuis le bain à remous. Cette cabine est équipée de toutes les commodités pour que vous puissiez profiter de votre séjour. Détendez-vous sur un canapé confortable près de la cheminée à gaz lors des soirées fraîches ou revivez les années 80 avec une partie de Pac-man! La salle de bain au rez-de-chaussée a une douche à l'italienne, tandis que la baignoire à l'étage dispose d'une combinaison douche / baignoire. Un parking pour motos est disponible.

Great location near to town, great use of hot tub on back deck, on the river, very quiet. Very clean. My only complaint was we couldn’t get the sound system working on the tv and could not get the volume up with any remote. Loved the wood decor and fireplace.

The beds and couches were so comfortable and cozy. The fire place was warm and inviting. The dishwasher and dryer need replaced. It would be nice to have more kitchen wares and hand towels.

Highly recommend!! The teams communication was on point from the moment I booked. I even had to reschedule the dates and they were more than helpful. The location is prime, its peaceful yet within walking distance. The covered parking area came in handy since it rained a lot during our stay. The cabin is exactly how its pictured...probably even better in person. Easy peasy check out requirements too! We will only stay here when visiting Helen from now on.

The only thing was that there were only single pillows on the beds. There was one extra pillow in each room, but no spare pillowcases. That's the only thing I would say, and perhaps many people sleep with just one pillow. Not a big deal.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upstairs bath tub and shower does not work. Burned out bulbs in the loft. Game in loft wasn’t working, maintenance came and ran an extension cord to a new plug and got it to work then you have to pay to play it🤦🏼‍♀️ was clean-ish. Could definitely use a sweep or mop under the tables and beds. Hanging lights had a lot of dead bugs. Did contact the rental company. They came out and looked at the issues but could only fix the game.

Our Summertime River Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Finally got to stay at River Retreat with GMR. First of all, the Concierge Service was awesome! Arrived to all of our groceries already in the fridge or neatly displayed on the counters. The rental was immaculately clean. Mornings were spent with a cup of coffee and listening to the river. Daytime was spent relaxing in the river, evenings were grilling on the covered back porch and then soaking in the hot tub.Of course, a couple of trips into town for some shopping and hanging out at Paul's our favorite.I cannot say enough good things about GMR Staff. Always so helpful and accommodating. We will definitely rent River Retreat again!

I would not recommend!

I have never left a negative review in my life so it takes a lot for me to say this. The cabins locations was wonderful but for what I paid for three nights that was the only positive. We had trouble with the combination lock on our 2nd day and called and someone was quickly sent out to reprogram. This was very pleasing but the cabin itself was not taken care of. The furniture had stains and the floor was so dirty you could not walk barefoot without your feet being black. We killed a few roaches and then found roach soray on top of the refrigerator so the problem was known. We found a couple of ticks on the couch. There was a note left on the refrigerator with notes how to clean up where it was expressed that we not put out unused towels and linens in the tub with our dirty used ones. This made me feel that the linens were not all laundered in between each guest which is gross. We actually chose to leave a day early because we were so unhappy with the lack of cleanliness. Of course normally I would chalk this up to a cleaning person or company being more responsible for the state of the cabin but I sent a very detailed email the morning after we left to explain why we left early and the condition in which the cabin is. I received an email stating someone would get in touch with me and after more than a week of waiting I have heard nothing. Helen is one of my favorite places to visit and unfortunately this trip is one i will remember in a negative light and I would not recomme

Rustic Retreat

Very clean and nice lodging beside a clear water creek. We were there in the off season so it was quiet and non crowded. Hot tub on porch was clean and warm. Convenient to town and area attractions. As they have well water, I suggest using bottled water for coffee or tea and for ice. Kcups are needed for coffee. Overall , it was a very pleasant stay. Deer were seen along the creek as were some fishermen. Host was very attentive to a lighting issue we had. And we were pleasantly surprised to see a gift waiting for us from the host, as it was our 50th wedding anniversary!! Thank you for making our stay memorable!
