Pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes dans des lits et avec une superficie de 3 000 pieds carrés (280 m2) ce condo est parfait pour les familles ou plusieurs couples pour rester une semaine ou plus sans risque de se sentir surpeuplé.

La piscine de 16 pi x 8 pi avec salle de bains privative offre suffisamment d'espace pour que tous les clients puissent se détendre et admirer la vue. Il dispose également d'un grand espace extérieur pour bronzer; balancer dans le hamac, siroter un cocktail dans votre transat ou tout simplement lire votre livre préféré dans la piscine. Il y a aussi deux piscines à débordement communes peu fréquentées avec une vue imprenable dans un jardin luxuriant.

Il est à moins de 10 minutes à pied de la magnifique plage de sable blanc et de cocotiers bordée de Playa La Ropa. Playa La Ropa a une variété de restaurants de plage, studios de yoga, spas et possibilités de loisirs

Almendra was waiting for us, when we walked in the view took our breath away. Our plane arrived early and we were let in to drop our bags and groceries while they finished cleaning. It was so appreciated. And the small pool in unit was perfect and used by us every day.

Stayed in zihau at the Penthouse with two additional couples. Had a wonderful time. Great communication and greeted upon arrival by property manager. Breathtaking views from the beautiful penthouse.

The apartment is spacious,comfortable and very well looked after.The kitchen is well equiped and has everthing you need to cook a good meal.Strong internet signal always a bonus.The inhouse pool was cleaned twice while we were there and the complex has 2 aditional pools with great views.We walked to the beach everyday (downhill) and took a taxi back (uphill) . Easy.Above all the communication and support Almendra offered us was incredible.

FABULOUS!!!

We had a phenomenal vacation. The place is beautiful, view is incomparable and the kitchen is incredibly well stocked (important for us as we need to cook all our meals). The best vacation of my life

This condo was incredible. Hands down, the best place I have ever stayed in Mexico. Four of us, girls trip, stayed for 7 days. The manager met us to let us in, helped us find taxis, answered when we needed more water and gave us excellent advice through our trip. The condo is beautiful, clean, the art is perfect and the view is outstanding. It is about $7.00 taxi to the center of Zihuatanejo. The condo is walking distance to La Ropa. I can’t say enough good about this VRBO.

Another great time at La Casa Que Ve al Mar

I stayed at this penthouse two years ago and we were lucky enough to book it again for 10 wonderful nights again this year. The condo is very well appointed with everything you could want. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms spacious and comfortable, the pool is great and the view is not to be beaten. The photos in the listing do not do it justice. Any and all our pre arrival questions were answered by Rick in a timely manner. Once we were there the property manager was very attentive to our needs. I can not give a high enough review of this property. Thanks Rick for sharing your condo agin and hope to return.

Absolutely Amazing

We have stayed at other units in this complex. But when we stepped into this unit, it ultimately amazing. The view was just Absolutely Amazing. We just stood there for a moment and took it in. The rooms were all very comfortable. The kitchen is great to work in. Every day was breakfast in the unit, and with 6 of us setting around the banquet table was great. Relaxing in the small pool was fun and relaxing. Could just be ourselves. We appreciate the owners letting us enjoy the relaxation of the unit, the view, and the ease of getting there. Thanks to all.

Excellent stay with a beautiful view

We just returned home from our stay in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. The pics that I saw on another rental site did not do it justice. You definitely have to see it for yourself. The view looks over Playa Ropa beach was perfect and the sunsets were amazing. The place had everything we needed and the open-air concept was truly amazing. To get around we either walked or called a taxi to town. The short walk to the beach was fun and you get to see cool sites on the way. At the beach, there are many things to do but don’t just stay there. There are many others to enjoy. We would stay here again and plan on returning. Rick was very attentive for our stay and the communication was excellent. The owner is looking to make this place even better. We will stay here again if available! Absolutely perfect!

This house is stunning! The owners were responsive to all my questions prior to arriving and once we got there the staff was helpful. We didn’t have any issues with the house so we didn’t need much. It was quiet with mostly older guests. Not a party pad. We had our teenage kids and I think they were the only ones under 40. I would never deduct a star for this but it’s good to know ahead of time. There are a lot of stairs and the hotel is on a steep steep hill. If you take taxis everywhere you go it’s not a big deal (although you still have a small hill and flight of stairs to take) but we are walkers so it’s a LOT of hill. It kept off the lbs from all the taco and beer! We loved it so much we looked at another unit that was for sale in the same building!

Nothing short of perfect

From the minute we walked out of the elevator into the penthouse to the amazing view, we knew we had picked the perfect spot for our vacation. Mornings with freshly brewed coffee or espresso, watching the pelicans dive for their breakfast. Evenings in the private dip pool watching the sunset and the lights of boats on the water with a glass of wine. Sleeping in large bedrooms with either air conditioning or a cool night breeze, waking up to the sound of the local birds and the ocean. The penthouse was well equipped and we didn’t lack for anything. Cleaning 3 times weekly was included and Veronica kept us well supplied with clean towels etc. The private pool was cleaned twice weekly. Manager responded very quickly to any questions we had. The location was close enough for walks to the beach, restaurants or Centro. The driveway is steep, but a quick taxi ride is always available if you are exhausted from lounging at the beach all day. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back.

Took our breath away!

Our family had the pleasure of staying in this lovely Penthouse for a week in January. From initial booking, to arrival, Rick was very attentive to all questions and communications. Entering the unit, we were all left speechless. The interior is very open and roomy, lovely decor, AMAZING view. Just the right amount of decorations to feel the Mexican vibe, not overdone. I won’t go into detail, as many other reviews have done this already - suffice it to say, I’m agreement with all positive reviews. Media had us a bit apprehensive with their travel warnings to this area, those feelings very quickly disappeared. Everywhere we went, friendly, helpful faces. We never felt uncomfortable/unsafe, whether taking a taxi, going out at night, walking in town. Overall this was a fantastic, relaxing family vacation. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again at this wonderful penthouse. (*this is not a criticism, an observation - I like very fluffy soft pillows, found the pillows a bit flat and firm for my liking - would probably bring a pillow from home next trip)

Must See To Believe

This is truly a spectacular property. We've stayed at La Casa Que Ve al Mar before. It's a special property that is impeccably maintained, with lush gardens and a friendly, helpful staff. But staying in the penthouse is really over the top. Terrific outdoor living and the views are just incredible. There's plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Because we either walked to the beach or took the minibus to town (13 pesos one way!), we almost always had to walk up the hill (good for working off the margaritas, of course!). So we really appreciated the little pool on the balcony to cool off after that hike. There was a bit of a hiccup when the electricity went off. Rick was totally on it. As it turns out, the entire La Ropa area had an issue, but it was fixed quite quickly. Probably faster than PG&E would have done the repair. I could not have asked for better communication. Gracias, Rick. We really can't wait to return.

Amazing Penthouse Condo

This property is exactly as described, maybe even better. The space is beautiful, the plunge pool and view are amazing. The condo is well appointed with everything we needed, and more! The kitchen has everything you would ever need. We prepared 3 of our own meals and had everything, including an outdoor BBQ/grill which can be hard to find. Bedrooms, bathrooms all perfect. The condo facilities are also beautiful and well maintained. It’s a mixture of permanent owners and vacation renters but everyone was super friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the 2 common pools.Rick was quick to respond with valuable advice and Almendra was so helpful in getting groceries to start our stay, organized Kelly to prepare 2 traditional meals in the condo, and was available for anything we needed. Yes, the walk to the beach is a walk, but it’s not as bad as we expected based on reviews. We walked it there and back everyday. Could Grandma do it? No, but we are an active family ages 22-53. We had a couple nice meals out at the Resto’s nearby, don’t worry about stepping out and trying places close by. It was also an easy cab into Zihua Centro for more restos, market and the Soriano grocery store. We really loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Rick and Almendra!

Stellar views, beautiful place, perfect family vacay for Christmas & NYE!

We had an amazing time at Rick's place. It was stunningly beautiful, everything exactly as described in the listing, beyond expectations. There are two community pools with amazing views of the bay as well as the private, in suite pool in the house, which came in really handy on those hot Zihua days. :) There is a pool guy and a housekeeper who come while you're there. At first I wasn't sure how I (or my family) would feel about having people coming and going while we were there, but it turned out to be REALLY nice! :) The hill to get up to the house from the beach is pretty intense if you're not an active person or have mobility issues, but you can get a taxi to bring you up for $60 pesos (approximately $3 USD) from the beach. This is the new minimum since the listing I believe, but all of the taxi prices have gone up in Zihua as of Dec 15th, 2022. Still completely worth it after a long day at the beach, but adds up if you have a family of 5 coming and going throughout the week. The location was great! It's about a 5-10 minute walk to La Ropa beach, which is arguably the nicest beach in Zihua. Directly down the hill we were able to catch a combi into town for only $13 pesos. We did this a lot. It's a great way to learn your way around town and it's more local experience. Two things I would note: there are ants really bad. You can't leave anything out on the counter. We put everything in fridge and it was fine. I also live in Zihua, so I understand critters and insects, but this was not that. I would recommend an exterminator, but some people don't like those chemicals in their house. So maybe a more holistic alternative if that's the case, but the ants were really bad. Still though, don't let that deter you from this amazing place in paradise. Just put your food in the fridge-- even tortillas or bread. :) One other thing; after I booked the host mentioned that he may have to change one night. We discussed it and it worked out fine that he didn't have to do that, but given we are in peak season here and my family was flying all the way from the U.S., I was nervous about it the entire time. It would have been better to not even mention it because, like I said, I was worried up until check out that it could still happen. I suspect that's not something that would happen again though, or that you would have to worry about if you book this place. Aside from that, the trip was absolutely fantastic! We can't say enough good about the place!

Tracy, Thank you for your thoughtful and generous response. We're glad you had a great stay with your family. We fell in the love with the place while renting it with our family years ago so it's nice to share it with others who appreciate it. You mentioned two items of concern. First, ants. All units at CVM are sprayed once per month but there have been complaints throughout the complex of less effect lately. A bunch of us are working with CVM management on getting that fixed. Lots of ants in the kitchen is not a normal occurrence. and we're sorry this happened while you were there. Had we known, we would have had an exterminator spray immediately while you and your family were out. Second, while I did have one conversation with you many months prior to your arrival about a double booking on one night, it was to ask you if you had any flexibility. You did not so I dropped it and didn't mention it again. I'm sorry that caused you some anxiety but there was never any danger to your reservation. Rick is an avid cyclist, seamlessly transitioning between road, MTB and gravel. Leslie is keen on yoga, TRX, pilates and spin. She has a couple of closets full of shoes--she really really loves shoes.

We started vacationing in Zihuatanejo in 2010 and fell in love with it. We first rented this unit in 2014 for trips with our grown kids and their significant others. These vacations were magical. The view is soooooo spectacular. Each time we couldn't believe that this place was as good as we remembered it. So when we noticed it was for sale we knew we had to make it our own while continuing to make it available to other guests.

First, the view. You really have to see it to understand how awe inspiring it is. Then there is all the space-nearly 3000 sq ft so you can have lots of people without feeling the least bit crowded. It is less than a 10 minute walk down to a beach that is on every list of best Mexican beaches. But most of all, Zihuatanejo is a unique fusion of traditional and modern Mexico. It is small and low rise enough to feel authentic but large enough to get to easily.
