There was no coffee. I've stayed in vacation rentals all over the world. This is the 1st with no coffee. It was like staying in a tea room. Lots of stuff everywhere. Close to everything with coffee just down the street. It was a good place for us to crash at the end of a busy day.

It wasn't horrible, but the advertised pictures were clearly old and out dated. Not at all what I was expecting. It also had a bad oder when we walked in. Bathroom had used toiletries left out as if being offered for us to use. Some of the kitchen drawers were dirty on the inside, some trash was left under the kitchen sink (trash cah was located in a separate cabinet. When we arrived, we called the host as we were having some issues with the keybox. Host did not answer, nor called us back.

It was really cute and such a great price. One counter had some sort of stickiness- looked like coffee? And there was a single styrofoam cup on the counter with a candy wrapper in it. Other than that- it was spic and span. The neighborhood is very walkable and so many fun things to do near by. Some of the houses on the street are beautiful and others are a bit run down but this property is nice inside and it seems like Port Royal is just a neat hodge podge of many levels of socio economic diversity.

Perfect property for a couple or single person --- so cute and decorated, I spent a long time just looking at all the extra touches throughout. The giant bed was soft and so comfortable, a perfect end to a 14 hour drive. The area is beautiful and close to everything. If you have a recruit graduating from PI this is definitely the area to stay in, it was so easy to just go over the bridge to Parris Island. This property was above a larger home which I would recommend also if you have a larger crew- I met the nicest folks while they were staying and that property was beautiful as well! The hosts are wonderful at communicating especially since I was traveling alone and had tons of questions.Downside - not really a thing but the upstairs is up a long flight of outside stairs, these were large and sturdy but for someone that can't maneuver stairs well, this might not work for you. The home had a slight damp smell but didn't cause any issues and even with my allergies and such I didn't find I had any trouble - I slept great and was so comfortable in this little lovely space - very cozy and would definitely stay again !!!

Cozy little studio in an attic in a quiet part of town. A brewery and restaurant are short walks away.We stayed during a heat dome (temps in the upper 90s and 'feels-like' temps around 115) and we're able to stay cool inside.You will hear folks walking in the house below you - keep the a/c running and it's no biggie

Listing was exactly as described! Super adorable and cozy nest. The location was superb! The locals were so inviting and wonderful. We felt super safe and welcomed at the Nest. Phoebe was great at answering any questions we had! Overall we would hands down request to stay here again! We love the town, quaint apartment, and atmosphere!

Marine Graduation

Came for Family Day and Graduation for my son's graduation from the Marines. I was very happy with the location. It was a short ride to Paris Island. Located in a quiet neighborhood near Sands Beach and local shops and eateries. While at the beach my daughter and I learned that it was known as a good place to look for sharks teeth. My daughter and I enjoyed the treasure hunt at the beach!

Cozy and Perfect

This was a very brief two-night stay. My soon-to-be-retired husband was on spring break, the last one. After May, it’s always spring break! We were going to meet some dear friends in Florida on Sunday, but I wanted Spring break to start as soon as school was out on Friday. We had never been to the area around Port Royal and Beaufort, even though we have lived in SC more than 20 years. Our stay was just wonderful. Our attic accommodations were far more than adequate. To be truthful, our stay was short, and we were out exploring most of our waking hours, but the bed was comfortable, the atmosphere was cozy, things were clean, the owner was very prompt when we had questions, the price was fair, and, yes, there are 19 steps to climb, but they were not steep steps, and my out-of shape body climbed them easily. If you are looking to eat out while you are there, try Griddle & Grits for breakfast/brunch. You will have to wait, but there is a wetlands area right next door. It makes your wait interesting, and go by quickly, just be on the lookout for gators if you take the paved walkway. If you need a bigger space for your stay, you might try to find the listings for other parts of the house. The owner knows the history of the home which belonged to her mother. Be sure to ask her about it, including the concrete structure to the side of the house. My husband and I highly recommend staying at this rental.

Parris Island Graduation

Good for a short stay near Parris Island. All provided bath towels smelled strongly of mildew. The host instructed us to wash the dishes we used prior to leaving, but did not provide a dish scrubber to use.
