Located on 5-acres of secluded wooded land with extensive gardens. This quiet space is on the second floor above a detached garage. The spacious area was recently refurbished: includes a kitchenette and bathroom. Private entry through gated courtyard. Central HVAC; new King bed and TV; Pool. LGBTQ welcome.

Driving times: 25 min. to Hunting Is. St. Park and Parris Island; 15 min. to historic downtown Beaufort.

Beautiful place

Great place to get away from everything. Property is lovely and gardens were beautiful. Wayne and Peggy were very nice. They have put much love and hard work into making it a ideal place to relax and enjoy.

Beautiful and Quiet Location

Room was very spacious and nicely decorated. Located in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. About a 10 minute drive to Beaufort waterfront. Owners were very friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful gardens and landscaping, in addition to the pool! Clean and comfortable room and bed. Hosts were very accommodating and pleasant! We will be back.

my friend and I stayed in the carriage house for 3 nights for our senior trip. overall the experience was great, the hosts were very helpful. the property is very quiet and secluded, when in the pool it gives a relaxing forest feel. if you’re looking for a quiet get away i definitely recommended the carriage house!

Sweet and serene

We had a great time at this property! It’s about 15-20 min from town as listed in the description. It’s very quiet and safe. Beautiful garden/outdoor area. Perfect space for the two of us. Nice pups. Nice adjacent neighborhood as well.

Loved the pool and garden

The property is lovely and private. I was a little thrown by the proximity of the property owners…. Their house overlooks the pool, but the owners were friendly and allowed space for privacy. I enjoyed the birds that visited the well kept garden. The studio was clean and comfortable. I missed having a freezer for ice in the heat but I would rent the space again.

I was looking for a house with a 1 bedroom. This was a room over a garage. More of a studio than a 1 bedroom. The pool was dirty and not inviting as the picture depicted. Peggy was accommodating when I told her the coffee make wasn't working.

a quiet cove to relax

Wayne and Peggy were welcoming and hospitable hosts. Their rental is super clean and adorable. They even share their beautiful pool and immaculately landscaped surrounding garden. Lots of little extras included in kitchen and bath areas were nice to have. It's an oasis that's only about a 15 minute drive to town!

Carriage House Far Out

The property is absolutely beautiful, but a long way from town. We had several problems, but they were quick to solve them. We suggest adding some place to hang clothes and defrosting the refrigerator.

Perfect getaway!

Beautiful property and perfect vacation getaway for my boyfriend and I. Space was just right for the two of us. Clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable! Loved it!

Quiet Way Cove

Private location within 10 minutes of beaches and golf courses. Room was bright and roomy with vaulted ceiling. Property was lush with trees, flowers and flora. Many restaurants nearby with a variety of cuisines. It was cool when we were there but the pool would be great in warmer weather. Steps were a little steep but we managed with no issues. Peggy & Wayne were fabulous and they offered complimentary sodas and other unexpected extras. Would love to return during the summer next time.
