Charmante maison à quelques pas du centre-ville de Great Barrington. Beaucoup d'équipements modernes, à proximité de toutes les attractions culturelles fantastiques des Berkshires comme Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow ainsi que tout le théùtre à travers les Berkshires. Great stay!

We stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful trip. Close to the downtown shops, and all the supplies a family needs staying in a home. Thanks for the great stay!

Great location great host

My family of four had a great stay exploring the town of Great Barrington and skiing at Butternut. Location couldn’t be better in terms of being close to both downtown and the mountain! The host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

Large house, great location

Lovely house with large comfortable bedrooms. We especially enjoyed out breakfasts in the spacious kitchen. This would definitely be the place for a family vacation. Some of the furniture was a bit worn, but still serviceable. It is a great location, Great Barrington is quite lively on a Friday evening and Stockbridge is a few minutes away.

Tanglewood weekend

The house is nice and easy to find. Very close to downtown Great Barrington and less than 10 miles from Tanglewood. Well stocked with everything we needed for an overnight stay.

Great stay close to town

My family and I spent 3 nights at Howard’s property over Thanksgiving and had a great time. The house was very large and the 6 of us fit comfortably. The beds were soft, the kitchen was extremely well stocked, and we definitely enjoyed having 2 full bathrooms. The location was excellent - only a 15 minute walk into town! I would highly recommend staying here if you’re in Great Barrington

A Place to Gather

We loved our stay at this beautiful property, which backs up to the river. We could walk to town and were close to all kinds of restaurants. The house had everything you need to cook and have a cozy night in and an excellent entertainment system. The host was warm and accessible and made this an easy trip. The air conditioners in the bedrooms worked so well that my wife wanted to turn it off, & my friends actually did do so...& even though it was quite warm outside, the ceiling fan in the big kitchen made it more than ok to hang out there

Great Weekend Skiing

The house was exactly as advertised, comfortable, and with great location. We enjoyed a great weekend of skiing at both Catamount and Butternut, and the kids enjoyed their first ski lessons. We even got a few inches of snow to go with it. Howard was an excellent host, very easy to communicate and always reachable. We will be back for sure!

Great location, friendly host

This house has a spacious kitchen and the bedroom were all good size and better than in pictures. The house is not brand new and definitely has a lived in feeling. It is well docked - plenty of items you would need in kitchen, bathrooms, bedding. Large yard and quiet street with plenty of parking spots. There are air conditioners in every bedroom but they are a bit noisy as they are window units.

We left a day early.

I don't know how long ago the picture of this property was taken, but it's not recent. The house, inside and out is quite run down. There was a bad smell inside the house that came and went, not sure if it was connected to plumbing. Linens were provided and were stained and smelled, I had to change the bed and wash the sheets, blankets. The grounds are covered with weeds and the outdoor table and chairs are obstructed by unmown grass. The front of the house was littered with cigarette butts. We contacted the owner, who said that he was sick and in hospital. Not sure if that's why the house is not well maintained, but he is charging quite a bit of money for a home in this condition.

Girls weekend

Lovely country home, great location close to all! My favorite room was the kitchen with the huge wood table to fit the family! Very clean and comfortable living room and bedrooms. Beds were so cozy. Both bathrooms were spotless. Would definitely come back again.

Lovely House

We really enjoyed staying in this charming house over the holidays. The location was so convenient for us. The house is comfortable, lovely and was a nice size for our family. The sound system in the living room is incredible, so movie watching and music listening was really enjoyable. We did not know they had a pet when we rented the house, but it was clear when we walked in one had been spending lots of time on the sofa (dark sofa, white hair). If you have allergies, it would be something to inquire about. One thing that was a surprise and a big disappointment were the beds in two of the bedrooms. The property details specified queen beds, but they are actually full beds. Since we had a couple staying in one of the rooms, this was a real consideration for us when house hunting. Had we known in advance, we probably would have chosen another home as we were looking for a queen or king size bed for them to be comfortable. That said the beds themselves were comfortable. If you stay here in the summer the yard is large and there is plenty of room for kids to run around. Seems like a great place to have a family gathering and bbq. As we were there in the winter, we did not take advantage of that. Howie was friendly and very responsive. We were appreciative of that. Thank you Howie for your hospitality!

Loved the house and the yard!

The rooms were larger than I expected. Kitchen is beautiful and well stocked with all the amenities U need. Was very comfortable for 6 adults plus children. We loved the backyard too - perfect for whiffle ball, cornhole or just relaxing! It is fairly close to the Main Street so be aware at times your can hear the traffic but it didn’t interfere with our experience.
