A quiet, stylish gem a short walk from downtown

Our family (adults plus two teenage kids) loved our stay. The house sits behind and up the hill from the main house, and is private and quiet. The upstairs loft area with two separate beds was perfect for the kids, and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen. This was our family's favorite place on a recent college tour throughout New England.

Property was not clean, host forgot about our arrival

2025 was our second time booking this property as we stayed here last year for the first time. The location is in a great location and fits our family’s needs for a 4 night stay. Unfortunately our experience this year was terrible. Check in was at 3pm and I had to message the host at 3:01 for the lock box code and arrival instructions that he never sent. When we arrived at the place, we realized the whole place was a mess. The beds were unmade, there were dirty towels on the floor, counters were dirty. It was clear no one had been in to clean the property since the last guests. I message the host right away. He apologized but then suggested he will give us a refund and we find somewhere else to stay since the cleaning service hasn’t come and he was away on a trip to Panama and didn’t think he could arrange cleaners to come. It was snowing and a holiday weekend and there were no other vacancies available in the area for the time period we needed. The host called a friend to come clean the apartment and while we were so thankful she was available, it was clearly a rushed job and when we arrived back at the property there were hairs on the made beds and pillow cases that lead us to believe the sheets hadn’t been cleaned. At 6pm when we got back to the property we had to strip the beds ourselves and did laundry. We never heard from the host again. I currently have a ticket open and expect a refund for our stay. If we had any other option we would have stayed elsewhere.

Beautiful property in excellent location

We were making a quick post cruise leaf peeping tour. Sadly, we were so much on the go that we arrived the property late on a rainy day so didn't get to enjoy the lovely property long enough, nor the lovely outside space! This is a lovely, well thought out property and we would have loved to have been able to stay longer!

Amazing Stay in Great Barrington

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Great Barrington! The location is perfect to walk into town, it was quiet and the house had everything we needed. The modern design of the house and the quality of the house, appliances and furniture was exceptional. Zach was very responsive and everything was easy to book. Clean & modern condominium

I enjoyed my stay in Great Barrington. The condominium was conveniently located near down town and the excellent grocery coop. It was bright and cheerful inside and the deck felt private. Upon arrival I was at first unsure about which unit it was (I hadn't looked at the picture recently but, when I did, I quickly figured it out - it's the grey building in back). Zachery was a great host and sent suggestions for places to eat.

Very clean and comfortable. Nice setting inside and outside on the deck and fire pit. We enjoyed our stay very much. Host inquired to make sure all was well. And he was responsive when a question arose. We would stay again.

Weekend getaway

My husband and I were very pleased with the property. Instructions were clear, owner was kind and easy. House was immaculate. Everything worked and everything was as advertised. Bathroom spacious. Beds comfy, plenty of pillows. Easy walk into town. Neighborhood was quiet, no issues. Would return for sure.

Winter weekend

We rented this house as a gift to our children so our grandson age 5 could learn to ski! It was clean, cozy and close to Butternut. It was a wonderful weekend getaway for them!

The Green Property in Great Barrington

Very clean, and comfy beds, though bring air mattresses if your planning for 6 people that don't want to sleep in the same bed. It's just three queens, but otherwise, it's a nice place and a cool location.

Autumn trip to the Berkshires

This home is wonderfully appointed and very comfortable. Our host was spectacular with communication. The home is very modern and newly constructed and features everything one would need for a very nice stay. The location is ideal to explore not just Great Barrington but the southern Berkshires
