Magnificent property near Grimaud-village with breathtaking views

We like to reply to this not really fair review as follows: Obviously the villa fits totally to the clients taste. In this direction no complaints! The facts are to modify: - the client was informed about a delay for a building plot below the villa not 6 weeks before the planned arrival but 11 weeks before the arrival = 25. June 2023. - we offered a free of charge cancellation or - to move to another property (we presented two other villas in the Gulf of St. Tropez) - a 30 % rate reduction in case significant noise will occur The property owner arranged everything which was possible to get informations by the building owner and the information which was given was, that the works will start at the third week of September. But he can't influence the ongoings on the building plot and has to trust the informations the building company and the builing owner gave him. We sent pictures of the building plot taken by my agency and by the owner of the rented villa. The client accepted a 30 % rate reduction in case of noise and he stayed at his booking. He is talking about three building plots he heard noise from. Also for this information further details: - the neighbor to the left had to repair his roof and there was three days of tile cutting. This is not the responsibility of the owner of the rented villa and repairs can be necessary at each time. This is called usual life risk. The tenants received nevertheless also for these days a 30 % rate reduction! - the third building plot the tenant mentioned is an enlargement of a terrace of an existing property in a distance of nearly 200 m. We checked this personally during our stay in October. During our stay nothing was hearable and the owner of the rented villa can't be of course responsible for all building activities in the environment. Nevertheless the owner of the rented villa gave also for noise disturbance in this far away villa a 30 % rental rate refund. Finally the tenant received for all days he mentioned - with his own hint, that the noise was not occuring the whole day, but that it was nevertheless disturbing - a full refund of 30 % to the rental rate. Regarding the beds: the client received before he arranged his booking a detailed exposé with a detailed list of all bed sizes in cm. Therefore we think it is comprehensible, that we are really astonished by a not fair 2-star evaluation for a villa which was rated by the client as a wonderful one in the correspondence.
