The villa was spotless, extremely comfortable. We loved everything about it. Ideally located, about a 12 minute walk to shops etc. The accommodation had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was a lovely property. The views were fantastic and we enjoyed using the private pool. Just a short walk down the hill and you are at a lively promenade with restaurants and the beach.

Excellent stay at a great property

We loved the cleanliness of the villa and pool, and the lovely quiet location, that also gave us easy walking access to the centre of Luz. Also, easy parking, effective aircon and a lovely sea view.

Absolutely stunning sea views, very quiet area easy walk in to town and beach, nice shops and bars restaurants etc.Villa is very comfortable and has everything you need. Response from owner is very quick and would absolutely book again.

Parking was very easy and the town house was very comfortable.The washing machine did not work . Would have loved the pool being heated but we did use it and appreciated the pool cover .The ocean view was excellent and the grounds were well maintained .The location was good and close to Pria da Luz and several restaurants . We enjoyed our stay .

Everything was as expected or better. The view from the balcony is wow. If we ever go back to Algarve we will definitely look to rent this place again.

Great family break

Property is pretty much as per the description and photos. Wonderful views from the upper balcony. Pool is small but adequate for nice cooling dips on hot days. Rooms are good and the beds are really comfortable. Property is well located for short walk into Praia de Luz for restaurants etc.

Fantastic Views

Property had everything we needed for a great 10 day holiday. Communication with owner before we arrived very efficient. Quiet location, 15 min walk to beach, supermarket, restaurants etc We hired a car and visited some great beaches out on the west Atlantic coast. Will definitely be returning.

Great property

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was in a great position with beautiful views. It was clean and comfortable inside and the pool and outside space was great. It was perfect for us as a family of 4. It was a 15 min walk to the beach and supermarket. The only thing that would have made it even better was if there were a few basics in the kitchen, salt, pepper, etc and maybe a parasol available for guest to borrow for the beach.

Wonderful Villa

What a beautiful clean villa. Location was really good. Close to bars and restaurants- a bit of a hill back up to property but nothing too bad. Kitchen really well equipped and every room was very comfortable. The views from the balcony were outstanding. Had contact once with villa manager and she was so quick to help and respond. Very impressive. Stop reading the reviews and just book this villa. You will love it!!!

Fabulous view

My partner and I had a wonderful 2 week break at this lovely villa in Praia da Luz. The house is very clean, well maintained and had everything we needed. We loved the fantastic view from the terrace and spent many hours there looking out over the bay. It was a lovely sunny spot but even on windier days, there is glazing to the side of the terrace giving great protection. The location suited us well as it is a short walk down into the town but also very quiet. Everything went very smoothly from booking to checking in. We had a great holiday and would love to go back there again in future.

First holiday abroad since COVID

Lovely villa with stunning views over the town and out to sea from the verandah off sitting area! Lovely area around pool ( great that beach towels provided)! Fully equipped kitchen! With all we needed. About 20-30 minute walk into Luz but uphill all the way home so taxi needed but only 5 euros! Would recommend Boaty's Restaurant for a meal! Great selection of Tapas and so tasty! Great communication from owners regarding directions and all services in town eg supermarkets, doctors etc.

Delighted you had a lovely time and yes the veranda sea views are mesmerising from Etoile! Surprised the walk to the village took that long .. you must have taken the scenic route, though the walk back does takes longer so it's great you had a nice surprise with the cheap taxi fare back up! It is so good return to more relaxed times after the past difficult couple of years.

Great views

Overall this is a nice villa, however some upgrading is now required. We had a reoccurring issue with the pool pump and whilst the gardeners were more than helpful with a temporary solution, it started to get a bit annoying and a more permanent solution is required. Other than this, it met our needs and we enjoyed our stay.

We had a great family holiday here. Some nice restaurants down by the beach which is approx 10 walk (downhill). We also got an uber into Lagos which was cheap and very easy to do. Lagos had lots and lots of restaurants and much busier than Luz. We wanted to visit particular restaurants and had to book them in advance so I’d recommend doing this to avoid disappointment, it was an easy phone call or email to make the reservation.Comfortable beds and easy parking if you hire a car. The evenings can be chilly (due to the wind) so take a jacket/jumper as I got caught out with this as I’ve never visited Portugal before and didn’t realise how windy it got! We did a boat trip from Lagos around the caves which was great fun and again easy to book online. The guest handbook was very helpful, thank you

Villa Etoile

This villa was beautiful, outside and inside. It was spacious and of a high standard. It made for a very comfortable stay. It had everything we needed for our holiday including towels and beach towels. The pool was cleaned while we were there and maintenance staff were polite and friendly. The villa was in a superb position with fantastic views over the sea. This did mean a bit of an uphill hike with water but we needed the exercise after all that holiday eating and drinking. It was also in a very quiet area which was calm and peaceful. We would recommend this villa to everyone! Great communication with the owner too. Many thanks for making our holiday such a great experience.

Maison piscine Praia da luz

Super maison Proche de tout Facile à vivre avec un coin repas à l'ombre et un coin terrasse soleil. Incroyable vue mer. Il y a la clim, mais avec l'air marin nous n'avons pas eu à nous en servir (séjour 2 dernières semaines d'août) Nous y retournerons ! A bientôt
