Profitez d'une des meilleures plages de la côte est. Il n'y a pas d'endroit comme Hatteras Island sur Outer Banks. Le Gulf Stream court juste au large de la côte, ce qui rend l'eau presque 10 degrés plus chaude que les villes OBX au nord d'Avon. Détendez-vous aux sons du surf; Construire un feu de joie sur la plage; Faire du surf, faire du cerf-volant ou faire de la plongée sous-marine; Essayez la main à la pêche au surf ou participez à un voyage de pêche en haute mer. Cottage a l'une des meilleures vues sur Hatteras - sans payer les tarifs élevés en bord de mer !!! Le chalet a une belle vue sur l'océan et la baie et est situé dans le village de Frisco sur l'île de Hatteras. Cottage est entièrement meublé trois chambres (deux BR avec lits queen, un BR avec quatre lits superposés). Il y a aussi une armoire séparée avec des portes pouvant servir de 4ème chambre à coucher; Il a un futon reine.

Cottage peut accueillir confortablement de 8 à 10 personnes et dispose de deux salles de bains complètes et d'une grande douche extérieure. Cuisine entièrement équipée, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, Keurig, laveuse / sécheuse, barre humide avec mini frig, gril, plate-formes multi-niveaux, y compris le pont couvert avec porte pour votre chien pour profiter en toute sécurité de la brise de l'océan. Accrochez votre hamac des crochets sur le pont couvert pour profiter d'une sieste après l'après-midi ou lire votre livre.

Du nouveau pont d'observation raffiné, vous pouvez voir des miles de plages et d'océan et vous pouvez regarder les beaux couchers de soleil sur le son. Inclus est WiFi; Lecteurs TV / DVD dans le salon et le salon avec câble; Lecteur DVD / écran en chambre à lits superposés. Cottage a également une chaîne stéréo; Jeux; films; Livres et DVDS. Il y a des ventilateurs de plafond dans la plupart des chambres et dans tout le centre de l'air. Le chien de famille est le bienvenu; Pas de chat s'il vous plaît.

C'est une courte promenade de trente secondes sur les belles dunes de la plage. Regarder les dauphins jouer dans l'océan depuis le salon ou le pont. Profitez des beaux couchers de soleil sur la baie. Laissez les sons de l'océan vous calmer pour dormir. Cottage est sur une route tranquille et sans issue. Driveway détient quatre voitures; Beaucoup de stationnement dans la rue. Seulement cinq minutes pour:: le phare du Cap Hatteras, le Trou canadien pour l'embarquement de kite / planche à voile / kayak et le ferry Hatteras à Ocracoke.

Cottage Rents samedi à samedi seulement pendant la saison de printemps. Les dates hors saison ont plus de flexibilité. Louer directement auprès du propriétaire pour éviter tous les frais «supplémentaires» facturés par les agents immobiliers / agents de gestion locaux. Économisez-vous des centaines de dollars. NC exige la collecte des taxes de vente et d'occupation sur toutes les locations. Nous collectons un dépôt de sécurité de 300 $, remboursable s'il n'y a pas de dégâts.

L'invité est responsable de tous les draps, serviettes et articles en papier. Tous les lits ont des oreillers et des édredons.

Great Family Vacation Spot

We loved Frisco; quiet and clean beach, friendly neighbors, great restaurant options and just an overall laid back vibe. The cottage was a wonderful place to stay with lots of room for a family of five, superb kitchen, great decks, and ideal location. Owner couldn't have been nicer or easy to communicate with.

Frisco vacation

This location was great. It was close to the beach, great renters/neighbors all around and very dog friendly. Jazz and Jax enjoyed it too. We even saw some deer on first and last night of our stay. Kitchen had all of the cooking utensils needed and so much room.

We had a wonderful stay here. The home was decorated so cute with ocean theme things throughout! We were so close to the ocean!! The beach was never really crowded. The house had beautiful views of the ocean!! We could even see the sound from the deck on top of the house!! We really enjoyed going up there to look at the ocean and see the beautiful sky views!! We had seven of us and the home was very comfortable!! The owners of the home were so nice to communicate with and always responded quickly when needed. Our kids loved sitting at the table playing games together all week!! The house was close to places to shop. It really is a great place to stay and we would highly recommend it!!!

The house was very clean. Kitchen is well-stocked. Plenty of space for up to 8 people. This was our first time staying at OBX and we thoroughly enjoyed the house and the island. Owner was easy to communicate with prior to and during the stay. We had zero issues during the stay.

Amazing

We had such a great week at the Norwegian Wood. Beach house is a short walk to the beach and we enjoyed hours at the beach. Home was well equipped (bring sheets and towels) and had everything we needed. Great week with our teens at the beach. They loved that they could run over and boogie board and we enjoyed being able to have beach fires. Great location,great home!

2 week stay at Norwegian Wood

Great property 3 houses to the beach entrance. Wonderful rooftop deck to watch the waves and the sunset. Kitchen is well stocked with spices, pots and pans. Great blender for frozen drinks. New kitchen with plenty of space- the pictures on website have not been updated. Loved the outdoor shower and hose to wash off the sand before entering the house. Hope to return!

Wonderful stay :D

We instantly felt at home. The view was amazing as well as the new renovated kitchen. The only suggestion would be the cleanliness; the floor and carpet had dog hair and sand. We also cleaned the doorknobs and the wipes came out brown. Otherwise, everything was great!

The Frisco area

I have stayed all over the Outer Banks and decided to visit the Frisco area. It was quiet and very quaint. The local shopping and restaurants were just as I expected. We wanted less crowded beaches and faster check-out lines, and that's exactly what we got! I missed going to Ocracoke by ferry as it was rainy and a little cool most of the week, but was by no means disappointed with my stay.

The house was very clean & we were very happy there. As with all homes on Hatteras island there were lots of steps. We had 4 older guests with us so the stairs were rough at times, but they managed. The inside stairs are vinyl & this was very rough on my older dog & we had to carry her. They're were 9 adults that fit comfortably & plenty of indoor & outdoor space to spread our. Overall lived the home.

Wonderful July 4th Stay!

We had a wonderful stay over the holiday week. The house has great views of the ocean from multiple floors, and a 360 degree view from a crow's nest. It is such an easy walk to a wonderful beach, and at night you can see millions of ghost crabs on the beach! The outdoor shower is great, and the AC worked well to keep it cool at night. The stairs could be challenging for elder guests, but that's true of many of these properties. We misread the instructions and forgot to bring sheets or towels, which we then had to go and buy our first night, so definitely remember to bring those.

Relaxing Vacation

My husband and I brought our dog with us on vacation this year, and this house was PERFECT for us! The house had plenty of relaxing places to just chill and hang out (inside and out). We really enjoyed the top observation deck (views of the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular), and also brought our hammock along to enjoy naps on the 1st level wrap around deck. The very close walk to the beach made it easy to walk our dog while viewing the beautiful sunrises. The house itself was very inviting and was an excellent space to relax and unwind. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials, and we felt right at home. We also utilized the beach chairs and umbrella that were on the property. We highly recommend this property, and will definitely stay again.

Can't wait to go back!!

Even better than expected. Great location on a street ending at a dune with path to ocean. Top and front decks with beautiful views of beach, gorgeous sunrises, relax and hear the ocean. Top deck, view the sunset over the sound side. Lower deck, escape the heat of the day, but still relax and hear the ocean. Kitchen has updated appliances and we'll stocked cookware, dinnerware, etc. Location is close enough to some great restaurants. I can't say enough. The owner was very easy responsive with communication. Hated to leave. Can't wait to go back!!

We loved this house!!

When we originally looked at the pictures of this house we thought it looked a bit dated but the pictures do not do this house justice. It has a very beachy cottagey feel to it. It is very close to the beach and very well stocked with everything that you could need. The outdoor shower was perfect for when we came in from the beach. We brought a hammock with us and hung it on the porch. It was a great place to relax. We also loved the rooftop deck. We made sure to go up there every night to watch the sunset. The owner is very quick to communicate and to answer any questions. As an FYI If you have anybody with you that has mobility issues getting on to the beach might be difficult for them. The pathway over the dunes is very steep and the sand is soft which makes it hard to maneuver. I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to when we can visit again!

Couldn't ask for more!

The property owner was extremely kind and easy to work with. The home was clean and spacious for our group of 9. It included more than we expected! We hosted our Thanksgiving there and they had all the cookware/dishes necessary. It felt so cozy, like home. The views from the balconies were amazing! It was so awesome to walk out and be just steps from the beach. The hose downstairs came in handy, we didn't use the outdoor shower, but I'm sure it's great in the summer. Good amount of nearby stores and restaurants. We enjoyed many local food spots. Dinkys, Tavern on 12, Duck donuts, Bros, Kats deli, Frisco sandwiches and Stu's biscuits at Avon pier. Our favorite beach spot was the at the lighthouse. Great for surfing and fishing. We had kids ranging from age 1-9 and one dog. Everyone was sad to leave! Heading back to Florida and already thinking about our next trip. 5 stars all around!

July 4th Week 2025

Had a great week with the only inconvenience being one of the AC units malfunctioning. This was fixed quickly. Overall we enjoyed the house and the many amenities. Loved the outdoor shower & deck to wash off on. The beach is a short walk straight down the street past two houses and over one big sand dune. Even on the most crowded day it was a single row of beach goers while no one within 25’ of us on the beach. Mostly clean sand with some shells. At night there were a few groups doing campfires. We enjoyed the the star lite sky’s and all of the crabs running around. We caught Whiting while fishing in the surf.We had our Weimaraner with us who loved the house and yard which has a natural “fence” of vegetation keeping the area private.Took a day trip to Ocracoke Island for lunch at SmacNallys which was awesome, checked out the lighthouse and the wild ponies. This trip is cost friendly as the vehicle ferry is free. The long lines to get on the ferry go pretty quickly.Happy Belly ice cream was everyone’s favorite stop.The fireworks at Avon pier were spectacular with plenty of room on the beach to watch.One note is there are no outlets on the ground floor so bring an extension cord if you’re bringing a pellet grill as we did. We had to purchase one at Ace Hardware.

Thanksgiving Break

My family and I visited for Thanksgiving break. While the weather was a little cool and rainy, the house was exactly perfect for our family. Amazing views, especially from the top deck. Very easy walk to the beach and the house is surrounded by trees and vegetation, which affords a little bit of privacy while hanging out in the yard, etc. Very easy process and good communication. Loved it!

Just a very short walk to the beach, which had just a few people on it. The home is amazingly well equipped. With lovely views. You can see so many stars from the top deck. Truly incredible!

We grew up going to the Jersey shore as a child and then did group rentals at the "shore" after college. My husband is a surfer and always talked about Hatteras. After we married, he took me down to visit. I Immediately fell in love with the pristine beaches and the "no Jersey rules, restrictions or crowds". No beach badges needed, dogs welcome, no trying to find parking (and paying for that too), plus the ability to eat/drink on the beach, have bonfires.....Great freedoms in such a beautiful place in the middle of National Park Land. One rainy day, while he was out surfing, I called a realtor and went to look at houses just to kill some time. This was the third one that I saw and I made an offer on the spot. He came back from surfing and I told him the "news". Both of my kids are now surfers and love the beach. We named it Norwegian Wood because Norway is my heritage, the house is made of wood and, of course, we love the Beatles! We try hard to keep the house updated. In last five years we have put in new decking and siding, completely new kitchen, new bath vanities, new bar counter, new flooring and currently working on new ceilings. This winter we will replace many of the ceiling fans.

It was in great shape, clean and had the most incredible views, without paying oceanfront prices. The quick walk over the dune to beach and back home makes it easy with kids. Most of the neighboring houses are owned by long time owners and everyone looks out for each other.

The views are the best. It is technically the third lot back from ocean, but currently there are several empty oceanfront lots. So with the way the house is facing, there is no one blocking the view. And, of course, having the wave sounds to lull you to sleep, whether at night or on the hammock, is the absolute best!
