Escapade en bord de mer, moderne et romantique

Oceanfront Efficency situĂ© dans OBX, Hatteras Island dans le village de Hatteras. Tout vient d'ĂȘtre rĂ©novĂ© et prĂȘt pour les invitĂ©s. Notre cuisine complĂšte a des comptoirs en granit, des appareils en acier inoxydable et est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e. Nous avons tout, des verres Ă  martini Ă  une presse Ă  cafĂ©. Notre salle de bain complĂšte a une douche Ă  l'italienne de 48 'avec beaucoup de rangement. Le lit de la reine capitaine a un matelas confortable, pour une bonne nuit de sommeil. Le canapĂ©-lit Queen est idĂ©al pour s’étendre et lire un bon livre. Nous avons 2 chaises surĂ©levĂ©es sur le pont supĂ©rieur pour observer les Ă©toiles et une table Ă  manger avec 4 chaises sur le pont infĂ©rieur. Le balcon avant est idĂ©al pour se dĂ©tendre et siroter quelques-unes de vos boissons prĂ©fĂ©rĂ©es des adultes. Il y a beaucoup de grillades communautaires et une station de nettoyage du poisson, juste au cas oĂč vous ranger le plus gros. Venez passer vos vacances dans notre confortable cabane romantique. La vie est simplement meilleure sur l'Ăźle!

Terri is an excellent host! Very responsive and accommodating. We were arriving early and since it’s the winter season she so graciously allowed us to check in at noon. The cabana was stocked with everything you could need, the bed was super comfortable and the linens were fresh and clean. Very pleased with our stay!

This was the perfect stay to celebrate our anniversary! It was well equipped and clean. Plenty of space for 2 adults. The super close location to the beach was amazing and truly a highlight of this place.

We stayed in this location the previous year and loved it. It's a great area with a fairly quiet beach and a few great local spots to eat or get coffee. The kitchen has what you need, but we had decided to do so minimally this time around. The rooftop deck is a great place to sit in the evenings with a good view of the sunsets. We really enjoyed our second trip and would definitely book again. Check in is easy as is checking out. Highly recommend.

Great weekend getaway

This was the perfect little getaway for my husband and I - access to the beach, and minutes from Hatteras Marina where we went out for a fishing charter. While the square footage is small, we had just enough space to enjoy a long weekend close to all things wonderful on Hatteras Island. Host, check-in, and information provided was all clear and easily navigable. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect Getaway!

This was my third stay in the cabana and I hope to return many more times. It was the perfect location and size for my aunt and I. The cabana was generously stocked and we had everything we needed for our stay. We had a wonderful time and made lots of special memories.

Perfect Beach Cottage in Prime Location

We had the most amazing stay at this beach cottage in Hatteras! The location is unbeatable—steps away from the beach, with gorgeous views and the soothing sounds of the ocean all day long. The cottage itself was charming, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the cozy decor, the spacious deck, and the fact that we could walk to nearby shops and restaurants.The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. We’ll definitely be coming back to this slice of paradise in Hatteras—highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation!

My husband and I have been going to the Outer banks for many years. We tried the northern beaches but found them to be crowded and too much traffic. We wanted to have an affordable vacation but found that most of the homes were too big. Once we found Hatteras, and the cabanas that was it. We purchased our first cabana in 2001 'Haynies Hideaway', and have enjoyed many years of just hanging out on the island, fishing, beach combing, and relaxing. In 2012 we purchased 'Sea La Vie' because we found our other cabana was booked so much we didn't get a chance to come down and enjoy it. Our daughter was 6 years old when we purchased our first cabana and still LOVES coming down and enjoying close family time. (She's 27 now)We love the beach, and Hatteras has the most amazing sunsets!!!We want our guests to enjoy our little place and take home awesome memories of the little cabana on the beach. Our plan is to one day move to Hatteras and become 'islanders'. Gotta have a plan :)

The meaning of 'Sea La Vie'
'La Vie' meaning 'Life' the name was inspired from our daughters love of the french language.
Romantic, and spiritual.
The HISTORY of 'Sea La Vie'
In 2003 Hurricane Isabel pounded our cabana community and after 3 long days of pounding seas, 29 cabanas where wiped completely out. Some where found by the water tower, several scattered around the town, some just washed out to sea. Out of the 40 cabanas 11 stood up to Isabel's pounding seas. 'Sea La Vie' was the last cabana standing in the outside row. It sat vacant, unkept and in desperate need of new owners for 10 years. After alot of negotiation we purchased and closed October 2012. For the next 5 months we completely replaced EVERYTHING from the outside in. 'Sea La Vie' is now ready for new guests, and new memories. We have tried to put everything possible that we love into 'Sea La Vie' and take pride in keeping our place clean and well equipped.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our little slice of heaven....that's what we say about our cabana everytime we go. Whether it's sitting out front on our beach (our backyard)or just hanging out on the decks, it's fabulous! My husband loves to get up early, and I love to sleep in. He grabs a coffee and his fishing rod and goes fishing. Our place is so close to the Hatteras Lighthouse, fishing piers, Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum , and the Ocracoke ferry too. The village has many locally owned art galleries and restaurants. We love supporting the locals!
If you are looking for beautiful beaches, that are not crowded, world class off shore fishing, no outlet malls..you have found it! Take a day trip to Ocracoke Island, and check out the horses, and the lighthouse. So much to do, if you love nature at it's finest.
