Simply the Best

Having stayed in Combe Cottage before, we had the pleasure of returning this year & it was one of our best holidays ever!!! The cottage is a firm favourite for us as it has everything you could possibly need. From its perfect location (beach across the road, shops, cafes etc 5 mins away), spectacular views, comfortably furnished & equipped for every family & furry friends, it has it all. This year we had a full 2 weeks of sun every day & we have come back with gorgeous suntans & feeling refreshed. You can’t ask for anything more & we have already booked for next year!!!! Simply the best.

Comfortable cottage with excellent accommodation in a beautiful location

We have recently returned from another fabulous holiday in Combe Cottage, Woolacombe. We are four generations with a small dog and Combe Cottage is our favourite holiday cottage. There is plenty of room for us all. We love the two small balconies upstairs from which the views over Combesgate Beach towards Morte Point are beautiful. Also amazing sunsets if you are lucky. There are three lovely beaches to choose from (some with dog restrictions and steps). There are walks from the doorstep and it is only a short walk into Woolacombe itself. We always book through Holiday Home Hunter as they are very helpful and their description of the Cottage is accurate. We all love it here so much we have already booked for next year.

Location location lication

4th stay at Combe Cottage. House needs quute a bit of TLC but that's part of it's charm. We probably won't book again despite this being our favourite house to stay in Woolacombe because we find the beds are so hard leading to back, hip and shoulder pain, (and we don't have soft beds at home!). Good mattress toppers would address the hard beds. You'd need to take a blue tooth speaker if you want music, as there's only an old dial radio that crackles! Outdoor space lovely and sunset views over Morte point incredible. Dog friendly.

A lovely Easter Break!

What a beautiful house this is, so much space and views from so many areas. Everything you need for a home from home experience. We celebrated our daughter's Engagement as during our week together she was proposed to by her boyfriend overlooking Woolacombe beach. Very romantic and this house will always hold a very special memory for us all. We will be back!

Another Great Holiday

Combe Cottage has excellent facilities and fittings, and is always presented very well. Located opposite Combesgate beach, the outlook is fabulous. Holiday Home Hunter have a gem of a rental here.

Simply lovely

The cottage was perfect for us as all we wanted to do was swim, board and walk. We loved the beach across the road and only went to the main beach once. Cottage was so well equipped and comfortable and the view is stunning. We loved it so much we booked for next year on our 2nd day there. We'd like to keep it a secret to be honest :D

Unbeatable location

Another stay at this well equipped & comfortable cottage with outstanding sea views & the nearest sandy beaches within easy walking distance. Woolacombe village with its numerous restaurants, shops & pubs also within easy walking distance. Great coastal & country walks add to an unforgettable relaxing holiday at Combe Cottage.

Relaxing at Easter

Lovely house, one of our favourites. Wonderful views, didn’t use the car all week. We came to relax and this did the trick. Very comfortable. Walked the dogs every day with different places to visit. Enjoyed cafes en route Nice terrace to sit and enjoy the sun. Terrace is dog proof. We liked being at the quiet end of the esplanade but it’s a slightly further walk into town. The whole process of booking, dealing with any queries etc was seamless. Maddy and Sarah provide a very efficient and friendly service. The best holiday cottages company in our opinion. Very responsive and so helpful. We would recommend Holiday Home Hunter if you are looking to stay in Woolacombe Thank you HHH and owners of Combe Cottage. A wonderful week for us to switch off from the stress of life!

Perfectly situated for beautiful views

We loved this cottage in woolacombe. Spacious, homely with amazing views from all front windows. Enjoyed sitting at the window with a good book and a glass of wine. Comfy beds in all rooms. Perfect distance from the town.

Wonderful house in stunning location

We had two wonderful weeks in this lovely, well equipped house, very near two beaches and just round the corner from the main beach, and about five/ten minutes walk from the village. Even better presented than last year, with easier locks on some of the doors. Plenty of bathrooms for when everyone comes out of the sea. Plenty of space. Wonderful views at both high and low tide. Plenty of parking, crucial for Woolacombe. A lovely spot.
