Emplacement, emplacement …… ..Shellsborough Penthouse (anciennement Shellsborough View) est un super appartement de 2 chambres en bord de mer dans une grande propriété individuelle sur la célèbre Esplanade de Woolacombes. Avec un parking privé hors route pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 2 voitures, un balcon avec vue sur la mer, une excellente connexion Wi-Fi, une chambre double et lits jumeaux en suite et juste en face de la plage de Woolacombe, ce grand appartement coche chaque case.

L'entrée se fait au niveau du parking, puis en haut d'un escalier intérieur dans l'appartement qui est recouvert de moquette et fraîchement peint. Le salon a une suite confortable en cuir marron de canapé et 2 fauteuils et station d'accueil TV / DVD / iPod. Le balcon offre une vue sur la mer et est un endroit idéal pour profiter du soleil du matin et des couchers de soleil du soir. La table à manger peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes. Cet appartement dispose d'une bonne connexion Wi-Fi.

Le maître double a une fenêtre de style velux lucarne, un stockage de vêtements et une salle de bain complète en coin avec douche, lavabo et WC.

La charmante chambre lits jumeaux a une fenêtre en bord de mer positionnée au centre de l'avant-toit avec une vue complète sur la plage et la mer de la baie de Woolacombe, un lavabo, des rangements et une douche, WC en-suite. Il y a un lit simple pliant pour une 5ème personne si nécessaire. Il y a de la place dans chaque chambre.

La petite cuisine de la cuisine est compacte, mais elle offre l'une des plus belles vues sur Woolacombe Down et Potters Hill, donc faire la vaisselle sera une joie !! Il y a un lave-vaisselle mince, un réfrigérateur sous le plan de travail avec un compartiment congélateur, un four électrique, une plaque de cuisson et un four micro-ondes. Le lave-linge et le sèche-linge séparés se trouvent dans une niche du palier. Tous les nouveaux matelas de l'année dernière.

Dans l'ensemble, l'appartement de vacances familial le mieux situé et le plus confortable en bord de mer dans ce charmant village. Vous ne pouvez tout simplement pas vous tromper.

The Penthouse at Shellsbourgh

I had a AMAZING WONDERFUL stay at the Penthouse such a lovely accommodation. It was really Clean and the views were so so beautiful. The service was second to none from Maddy and the team A massive thank you HOLIDAY DREAM MAKERS. Just a little thing maybe some new knife and forks and glasses but no problem. I would recommend the property any time, and totally recommend the AMAZING TEAM AT HOLIDAY HOME HUNTER. You really had my best holiday in my life

Autumn break away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shellsborough Penthouse. The location is excellent with sea views from both bedrooms and a great view from the balcony. The penthouse is very spacious and comfortable with all the essentials.

Another wonderful week at the Shellsborough Penthouse

We have stayed here many times now and it never disappoints. The views from every window are outstanding. The apartment itself is clean, well furnished and quiet. It has its own front door and off street parking. I highly recommend it for a relaxing time in a wonderful place.

A little gem in a great location

Located close to shops, beaches and National Trust walks, a super little apartment with all that you need for a short break. With a superb lounge view overlooking the sea, and a small outside terrace, nothing better than sitting reading as the tide ebbs and flows and the sun sets on the horizon. Always a pleasure to revisit.

A fabulous week - thank you

We had a fabulous week. We loved the quirky layout of the apartment. The sun was shining and we especially enjoyed watching the sun go down from the balcony. Our host, Jean, was lovely and Maddy from Holiday Home Hunters was incredibly helpful and kind. We were delighted to meet two members of the Mortehoe Coastguard Team - one retired and one still working. Thank you for a lovely week - we will definitely be booking again.

Return visit to this lovely property

We enjoyed our week at Shellborough. The weather was wonderful, sunny every day. The property was as we remembered it from the last time we visited. One or two improvements had been made. Overall a comfortable, spacious property. Only two of us but plenty of room for two. The views from the balcony are what makes this a place to revisit. They did not disappoint, wave watching and lovely sunsets. One thing to be aware of are the stairs. Obviously, a penthouse has quite a few. These are not a problem for an able bodied person but need to be considered if you are elderly or disabled.

Perfect relaxation location

Lovely, warm penthouse apartment with terrific views out of all windows. Just perfect for a short break whether to hop across the road and onto the beach for a walk or to pop into the village to the pub (The Jube) or the shops or stride up the hill to Mortehoe. Comfy and functional, with excellent facilities. Would suit a couple or small family, as two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The recliner chair with a view out to Lundy or the waves crashing against the rocks….a perfect place to unwind.

What a great find.

What a fantastic find this was! Had a really nice week staying in Shellsborough Penthouse. The accommodation had everything we needed, lovely lounge / dinning area with great views through the patio doors that led out onto a small but very usable balcony providing perfect views to watch the sun setting. Two large bedrooms, the master double was huge with its en-suite bathroom and stunning views through the large Velux window. The twin room had its own shower, toilet and wash basin and again a large Velux window with fabulous views. The kitchen is small but provides everything you need, even fitting in a small dishwasher! The washing machine ( housed in a large cupboard of the entrance hall ) was a great bonus as was the private off road parking. House keeping was great, very clean on arrival. As for the location I don't think it could be any better. 2 minute stroll to the sea, 5 minute walk to the centre of town, 5 minute walk to a fabulous little beach called Barricane Beach, a fantastic sheltered cove with a great little beach cafe. All in all a perfect base for a wonderful break.

Great view but could be better equipped.

Excellent position. Kitchen was poorly equipped with only 3 teaspoons, no oven gloves, not enough glasses, no scissors. TV control didn’t work and very noticeable line on the T V screen. No light above the mirror in the twin room. Door to the laundry cupboard on the landing kept opening with a bang. Would like to stay again but would hope that these things would be fixed.

Accurate description, very enjoyable stay

Property is in an excellent location, ideal for all things at Woolacombe. We only had 3 people for most of the week, but there was plenty of space for us. Will be returning next year

A great value and highly enjoyable break by the sea

We arrived on the Saturday following Storm Eunice. As the storm was widely forecast and weather warnings in place, we were mildly hesitant, however HHH called us on the Thursday to advise that there had been some minor damage to the roof of the penthouse, but that the building had been checked, was watertight, and ready for us to arrive along witht he local weather forecast. The location is to the side of a sea-front property, and an ideal location being a short walk from the village but hardly far flung. The penthouse (as the name suggests) is in the roof, and up a flight of stairs that is quite steep, so not suitable for anyone who struggles with stairs. The apartment itself is a curious layout, but functional, clean, and well kept. The views are lovely, with the little balcony providing views of the sea-front to the north and Morte Point. The property is well fitted out, with good heating (essential in February) a dishwasher, a great choice of pots, pans, utensils etc. and a washing machine hidden in a cupboard. The Wi-Fi is reliable (30mbps) and the flat screen TV is a little antiquated, but adequate. We also experienced storm Frankly which made for a noisy night (to be expected!) but the double bed is comfortable, and the separate heater in the bathroom ensured that the hot shower was a comfortable winter experience. There is also a 2nd twin bedroom that we didn't use, that also has an en-suite. All in all, we had a great value and highly enjoyable break by the sea in Woolacombe, and would happily stay in the Penthouse again. Thank you HHH.

Feels like home, Steps are very steep, so be aware and take a hairdryer We did find peanuts under settee that weren't ours, but on whole cleaned really good, wish the light worked over dining table been twice now and no bulb, also the big door to washing machine we have to leave open as it bangs in night But I love it there
