Ivycott - 6 couchages dans 3 chambres

Juste un peu en voiture de Woolacombe se trouve l'Ivycott enchanteur assis sur son propre terrain d'environ 2 acres. Surélevé du bord de la route, il bénéficie d'une vue dégagée sur les terres agricoles et les propriétés voisines du petit hameau.

L'immense allée peut accueillir un parking pour de nombreuses voitures et une fois à l'intérieur de cette maison de 3 chambres, il y a plusieurs chambres pour les familles élargies. Il y a deux nouvelles portes d'entrée rendant les jardins et les terrains complètement sécurisés pour les chiens. En entrant par la porte d'entrée, sur la gauche se trouve le salon soigné et compact avec de grands canapés pour 6 personnes et une télévision, des livres et des jeux sont disponibles.

Le poêle à bois est un endroit confortable pour passer des soirées en famille. Il y a une salle à manger avec table pour asseoir au moins 6-8 et au large c'est un joli & `` confortable '' actuellement installé comme une salle de détente ou une salle de jeux avec un vestiaire en bas avec machine à laver. À côté de la salle à manger se trouve une cuisine lumineuse avec des unités modernes blanc cassé, un lave-vaisselle pleine taille, un four, une plaque de cuisson, un four micro-ondes et un rangement pour les aliments. Il est entièrement équipé pour accueillir 6 personnes.

Une belle baie vitrée donne sur le jardin à plusieurs niveaux et il y a un porche utile à la porte arrière pour les bottes / chaussures. Il y a une table de cuisine et une buanderie abritant la chaudière et le réfrigérateur-congélateur. Il y a un lave-linge et un sèche-linge.

A l'étage, il y a 3 chambres à coucher, un maître avec un lit super king-size, des armoires, une armoire de chevet, une commode et un miroir. Il y a une belle salle de bains avec douche, lavabo et WC. Vient ensuite une chambre king-size, puis une chambre lits jumeaux avec lits zippés (veuillez indiquer votre préférence pour un super-roi ou 2 lits simples sur le formulaire de réservation) avec lavabo. Il y a une salle de bain familiale très ensoleillée avec une douche séparée.

L'extérieur est le magnifique jardin sur 3 côtés, pelouses à plusieurs niveaux, lits, terrasse surélevée, terrasse barbecue avec maison d'été avec quelques meubles et vue sur les terres agricoles. Les propriétaires ont récemment installé deux nouvelles portes sur l'allée, ce qui rend ce grand jardin complètement sécurisé. Ivycott présente une merveilleuse maison de vacances familiale à quelques minutes en voiture des plages de Woolacombe ou Ilfracombe, Croyde et ses environs. Il est parfaitement situé loin de la foule folle mais à proximité du meilleur du nord du Devon.

Lovely house in ideal location

This is the third time we have stayed at this house .it is a comfortable, spacious house ideal for families ,in a quiet location .There is a public footpath right next to the house which leads into woolacombe taking approx 20 -30 minutes to walk .We have always enjoyed our stay at Ivycott .

Fab property & location

Ivycott had everything we needed and more!! Beautiful home in a great location. Lovely big secure garden which our dog loved . Lovely walk down to Woolacombe from the property but as owners state it’s not for the faint hearted, especially walking back but we throughly enjoyed it! We will definitely be returning.

Another lovely stay

This is our third stay at Ivycott and it was so good to return - we felt at home the minute we unlocked the front door. It is a lovely spacious property with comfortable bedrooms and great facilities- everything one needs for a relaxing break. Location is perfect. We can't wait to stay again.

Lovely place to stay

Really enjoyed our stay. House was lovely and had everything you need. In an ideal location for exploring the area. Is in a beautiful location. Don't let the farm nearby put you off as we didn't hear a thing, not sure if it's still used. Plenty of spaces to sit in the garden. Would happily stay again.

Wonderful property. Well presented. Lots of things provided for children/teens (eg table football, table tennis, darts) to do which is good for rainy days. The beds are particularly comfy. It really is a home from home. The garden is wonderful and there is a big drive for ample parking. We loved it.I would say that the photos don't do it justice - it is even nicer in person.

Beautiful house and gardens

Great sized property for a family of 4 plus large dog. Gardens were beautiful and location a short drive from Woolacombe. The house catered for all our needs and plenty of room to spread out and chill after exploring the north Devon towns and beaches.

A lovely house in a lovely location

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at IVYCOTT ,with family It is a very spacious ,clean and well equipped house .it's Location is rural but there is a public pathway next door to the property which leads into woolacombe but not ideal for prams .We thought it was good value for the money and we enjoyed our stay

Great stay

Brilliant location. Did the walk to the beach which was beautiful around 30 mins to get there. Pubs in Georgeham excellent went to the Kings Arms for sunday roast lovely food and very accommodating. Ivycott was well equipped, beds very comfortable. Grounds great had some nice moments of just sitting in the sun

Fifth visit - which says it all...

It was lovely to return again to Ivycott. A wonderfully homely and spacious property with a beautiful garden. Spotlessly clean on arrival. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms comfortable. Plenty of dining space and a cosy sitting room. Location perfect for walkers - and a short drive into Woolacombe for surfers. Excellent facilities for washing off/ drying/storing muddy boots/wetsuits/surfboards etc. We will definitely be back!

Lovely home in excellent location

The property looked good on the web site and did not disappoint. It is a spacious, comfortable house (especially the beds) with everything you need for a great holiday. The house location is also excellent being able to get to several lovely beaches and coastal walks without being stuck in traffic in a honeypot location it's self. We enjoyed the 'extras' table tennis and darts in the garage and the outdoor furniture (although not used too much due to the weather). Certainly hope to return at some time.

A really lovely stay

Our stay at Ivycott was, quite simply, amazing. A really lovely spacious house with bags of character & a wonderfully relaxed, homely feel. Extremely well equipped kitchen, cosy living areas, comfy spacious bedrooms - all spotlessly clean and well laid out. It was fun having the games room and having the garage to.dry surf equipment was very useful. The garden is beautiful. We didn't want to leave! Would we go back? Without a doubt.

Ivycott near Woolacombe

Well appointed property located in a quiet location on the outskirts of Woolacombe and it's fabulous beach. Our dog loved it. A spacious property with good sized bedrooms and comfortable beds. The only downside was the oversized and uncomfortable lounge seating - no good for posture or bad backs. The outside space is large and quirky with winding pathways on it's sloping landscape leading to a number of hidden spaces. There is a rundown summerhouse crammed full of outside furniture which was diificult to extract so we used our own portable seating which wasn't a disaster because when the weather is good you're at the beach. Overall, a good time was spent at Ivycott.

Thanks for the review and Im really pleased to hear that you loved Ivycott on the whole. Your constructive comments have been noted by the owners who thank you for bringing your ideas to the table. The owners have said that they will be addressing the summerhouse in the Spring and giving it a tidy up and de-clutter. They said that where the sitting room is concerned, they had wanted to offer enough seating for the six people that the house will sleep and realise that it's not a huge room so it can look a bit cramped yet cosy we think! The many cushions are provided in order that people can prop up and make a more upright seating position if they prefer not to lounge. We hope to see you again and once again thank you for taking the time and trouble to write a review.

Family holiday

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ivycott. Especially the Games room and Summer House. It was large enough for everyone to do their own thing or sit comfortably round the table and, most importantly, several dog friendly beaches nearby.

Great location and very comfortable

We stayed at Ivycott last year and enjoyed it just as much this year! Great location, comfortable and cosy. Missed some cushions in the lounge, downstairs toilet seat needed sorting and we had to clean windows to see the lovely views but these are small things in what is a fabulous house and lovely gardens. We'll be back hopefully again!

Family Break in Devon

Great family property with everything needed for a nice family holiday. Good facilities and garage turned into a good games room for table tennis etc. Some of the property maybe a little tired with the garden house certainly not in any kind of condition to use. Clean and spacious with lots of parking and in a good location for walking to Woolacombe over the fields off the roads. Certainly recommend the property to others.

Spacious home a short drive from Woolacombe beach

Ivycott was a spacious family home in a rural area with a short drive to the beach. The kitchen was well appointed and a highchair and travel cot was provided, which was helpful. Some of the house was a bit dated and well-used for example the lounge sofa. The house is dog friendly and could benefit from a thorough deep clean to remove any unwanted smells, the twin bedroom in particular could benefit from this and seemed a little damp. The toilet and bathroom doors could benefit from locks. It would have been nice to receive a small welcome package on arrival, including bread and milk etc. We enjoyed the games room in the garage. The garden was nice but was generally not child friendly, we were aware of this before we arrived. Overall we enjoyed our time at Ivycott.
