Overcombe - 4 couchages dans 2 chambres

Overcombe est un magnifique appartement de deux chambres en bord de mer avec vue sur toute la baie de Woolacombe et surplombe la plage de Combesgate, une plage de surf populaire à une extrémité de la baie de Woolacombe. Il peut accueillir quatre personnes confortablement dans deux chambres. Overcombe est à côté de Cliff House.

Vous aurez du mal à battre cet endroit exceptionnel avec certaines des meilleures vues de la station. Overcombe dispose d'un grand salon avec une suite en cuir marron (3 et 2 places) où vous pourrez vous asseoir pour profiter de la vue si vous n'êtes pas dehors sur la terrasse plein sud en profitant! TV numérique avec Blu Ray, DVD / Vidéo, un lecteur CD / radio avec prise MP3 et WiFi sont disponibles avec des jeux, des livres, des DVD et des vidéos. Il y a même une station d'accueil iPod TV / DVD et un lecteur vidéo (il y a des vidéos pour enfants à regarder) dans la 2ème chambre. Il y a une table et des chaises pliantes dans le salon comme alternative au dîner à l'extérieur ou dans la cuisine. La table à manger dans la cuisine peut accueillir quatre personnes et la cuisine a une laveuse / sécheuse, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur / congélateur et lave-vaisselle pleine grandeur.

La chambre avant a une vue sur la mer avec un lit king size et une télévision. Asseyez-vous au lit et voyez la mer! Tout simplement merveilleux!

La 2ème chambre a 3 'lits jumeaux et a une petite salle de douche attenante, une station TV / DVD / iPod et un lecteur vidéo car il y a une sélection de vidéos pour enfants disponibles. Les deux chambres sont décorées avec goût en harmonie avec ce joli cadre côtier.

Il y a aussi une salle de bains familiale avec douche dans la baignoire. Passage du samedi. Draps et serviettes fournis, mais vous devrez apporter vos propres serviettes de plage. Parking pour 1 voiture. Arrivée après 15h et départ avant 10h.

Chauffage et eau chaude inclus. Désolé, pas d'animaux. Lit de voyage, chaise haute, protège-lit fournis avec des vidéos et des livres pour les enfants d'âge préscolaire et primaire. Parking strictement pour une seule voiture. Rangement pour planches et combinaisons humides dans la zone de magasin juste à l'intérieur du garage (les propriétaires ont le reste verrouillé avec leurs affaires). Il y a des étapes échelonnées du parking à l'appartement.

A great place to stay.

We have enjoyed many lovely stays in Overcombe. The views are superb and it is well positioned for walking into Woolacombe village and along the SW Coast path. It is cosy even when the weather is inclement and is well equipped.

Excellent accommodation and location

Overcombe is a lovely accommodation, with everything that you need there to make your stay comfortable. The view from the front bedroom is lovely and also sitting in the wicker chairs in the lounge gives a great view of the sea.

Never get tired of that amazing view!

Our favourite area to stay in Woolacombe with great views, pretty beach coves and beautiful walks to Morthoe. Overcombe provides everything you need for a home from home stay, always feel very relaxed there. Fantastic views from the lounge and bedroom, we will be back soon!

Another great stay in Overcombe

We have used Holiday Home Hunter for many years now and the service has always been very friendly and efficient. We have also stayed in Overcombe for many years. The views are spectacular and the apartment is well equipped and cosy. We are looking forward to returning in the near future.

Another Amazing Holiday

This was our fourth time to Woolacombe and the second stay at Overcombe, having stayed two previous years in Cliff House. We love it here. Overcombe is fabulous with stunning views across the bay. Woolacombe is small but offers everything that you might need for a week or so away. Access to the house is not for the faint hearted - you need to be prepared to walk up a steep hill, which fortunately we love doing. We will be returning again for sure! Thank you for another amazing holiday.

Overall fantastic spot a little tired some basic maintenance needed

This is a wonderful location for a property balcony and views are unbeatable. I think however the property would benefit from some maintenance seemed set up a number of years ago and not much input for a while. For example all the outdoor furniture is past its best and in some cases unusuable . Also inside videos dvds books could all do with an upgrade. Other wise fantastic spot.

Hi, thanks for your constructive review, the owners have asked me to respond and explain that it shows the importance of guests letting us know if things are not functioning or are broken thus giving them the chance to replace or repair. Since your visit the outdoor folding chairs and the DVD player have been replaced and a new TV will be in by 19th July. With regard the DVDs, videos and books it is felt that, although some people now use Netflix or similar to watch TV and films, there are still many guests who enjoy choosing one from the shelves so they will stay. As the new TV may not have a video input then the videos may now go of course. We hope to welcome you again and are pleased that you love Overcombe.

October Break

Had a lovely break in this fantastic property. Great location with amazing views. Property itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful location and a great place for looking out when the weather isn't great

This was our 2nd visit. The property is well equipped and in a great location. Situated at the quieter end of town with beautiful views across the bay. Apartment is very comfortable and we have enjoyed both visits. The property would benefit from some TLC and in depth cleaning in some areas but nothing dreadful to report.

Great views!

The flat was clean, comfortable and spacious. Some nice walks can be done from the flat to nearby cliff paths. As others have mentioned, parking is a bit tight, and it is a steep climb from the parking up to the property. But what makes this property special are the views, which are fantastic. We enjoyed many hours just sitting and looking out of the windows, especially when the weather was poor. Overall, highly recommended, and would happily stay again.

great holiday destination

We had a fantastic weeks holiday at Overcombe. The view was breathtaking. The accommodation was very clean and cosy, and had everything in it we needed, It was very comfortable and plenty of space for clothes etc, We will definitely be going back.

Lovely location for a break away

A very comfortable property with stunning views out over the cliffs to the beach and sea. If the weather co-operates the outside seating is perfect for enjoying dinner and the loungers are great for chilling. Location is away from the business of the main beach so is a relaxing place. The property is pretty well equipped - we cooked 5 nights and most mornings. The view from bed is great even when it is raining. When it isn't too windy having the doors open and listening to the sea when in the lounge is a must. We have booked again.

Lovely holiday in Woolacombe

Overcombe is a lovely apartment on the ground floor ( though if you park in allotted parking space there is a full flight of stairs up to the flat , with rail, if your neighbours agree you can access on the level if they’re happy for you to drop off on their drive , this is what we did as Mum s mobility not great) . Once inside there is everything you need, beautifully clean and fantastic sea views. You get the sun morning til night, can watch the sun set on the terrace. 10 min walk along esplanade into Woolacombe and 10 min up the hill to Morthoe. Walking distance to restaurants and pubs. Easy access to coastal paths and other lovely walks. We had a lovely holiday here would highly recommend, so long as you have good mobility

An Apartment in an Idyllic location

Overcombe - on the hillside between Woolacombe & Mortehoe - is situated in an idyllic location looking South along the 2 1/2 mile stretch of Woolacombe sands & Sea towards Croyde. The apartment is well furnished, comfortable & very homely. Very suitable for those who just like to relax, or for the more energetic a perfect place for coastal walking, and for surfer enthusiasts! ( The only possible downside for those advanced in years(?) may be the flight of external steps upto the property.

great views

A nice comfortable apartment with excellent views. Well equipped and spacious. The commanding views over Woolacombe are unbeatable. Parking is tight and requires quite a bit of manoevering that will test your skills. The approach steps are very steep and lengthy so may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues, well worth the climb though.

Fabulous week

We had another super week in Overcombe. The weather and views were as fabulous/dramatic as ever and we hardly used the car all week! The measures put in place by Holiday Home Hunter as a result of Covid 19 were impressive in their practicality and detail and we felt very safe both in the apartment and out and about.
