This is a family owned property and they really go out of their way to ensure you have a great vacat

This is a family owned property and they really go out of their way to ensure you have a great vacation! They are so nice and responded immediately to our needs and questions. The location is amazing! Fantastic views and easy walk to town. Our favorite feature was the private beach. We spent a day snorkeling ,kayaking and relaxing on the beach! Would definitely return here!

Villa Ermelinda was beautiful and fit 4 couples easily! It is only a 15 minute walk into town and close to Arienzo Beach as well as their private beach. Giulio [the owner] was extremely helpful and accommodating!! Absolutely would recommend.

Our family just returned from Positano and our stay at Villa Ermelinda was a dream come true! The villa was perfect for our family and the views were spectacular. The owners were always there to answer any questions and to make recommendations. The pool and the beach were so perfect. We truly had a magical vacation and didn't want the week to end. I would highly recommend Summer In Italy!! I felt very confident knowing that they were there if I needed them.

Beautiful villa with gorgeous views of the sea

Beautiful villa with gorgeous views of the sea. Short distance to a small convenience store/bakery. Private beach was very nice. Walk to town was a short distance... There are a lot of stairs to climb, but so worth it! The patios overlooking the water are beautiful. I would highly recommend this villa, the owner and his family were very helpful. Thanks again for letting us rent your villa. We had a great time!

Vacation in Positano

We loved it! The Villa was beautiful and great location. We got a workout in everyday walking nearly 300 steps up 2-3 times a day. The excursions we took were fantastic as was the food and wine. We had an automatic alarm clock with the rooster (just a bit early for us so we plugged ears and made white noise). The only thing I missed was having paper towels. We had someone in to clean and give us clean towels that was totally unexpected. Gulio was great as was his brother at the poolside cafe. Private beach too. All really good. Oh, and the views!!

Villa Ermelinda was fantastic

Villa Ermelinda was fantastic!!! Our extended family stayed for 8 days and absolutely enjoyed our time at the villa and in beautiful Positano and with our trips along the coast. The pictures of the villa on the website are very accurate - it's beautiful. We enjoyed our morning cappuccino on the terrace roof top (which by the way has a fun outdoor shower if you want to cool off) and also enjoyed breakfast, dinner or wine the second story terrace with a outdoor dinning table - also a fantastic view of the water and coast. Our host Giulio and his family were incredible and had a lovely snack and beverages waiting for us on our arrival and were always so amazing at answering our texts with helpful information. Would highly recommend this Villa. Everything is a short 5-15 min (beautiful) walk away (with quite a bit of steps... but that is everywhere on the Amalfi Coast... so bring your comfortable walking shoes.) Thank you to Giulio and to the great 'Summer in Italy' team for making our vacation so amazing. The Summer in Italy team were 10 out of 10 - top notch! So helpful.

We stayed at Villa Ermelinda in June 22. We chose this villa because of the size and location. The villa was able to accommodate all 7 ladies. Another big plus was that each person could have their own bed. The views were beautiful and the house was spacious. Each room has its own on suite. We spent most of our time outside on the terrace enjoying the phenomenal views of Positano. This home also shares a pool and a beach. The property is a short walk to the crowded main beach and shops. This house is good for those who are able bodied. There are lots of steps to get to the house then down to the pool then the beach. Giulio [the owner] along with his brother were very accommodating. They were able to recommend either places to visit or places to dine at. They were very responsive every time we had an inquiry.

We loved Villa Ermelinda, the view is amazing. Best part of Villa Ermelinda was having access to pool and beach of nearby hotel. We enjoyed kayaking and just hanging out at the private beach. The family, father and son, were very friendly and always available if we needed anything. Great customer service.

Villa Ermelinda was absolutely DIVINE

Villa Ermelinda was absolutely DIVINE. The villa is extremely spacious, and you cannot beat the views. We so enjoyed sitting outside with a cheese and meat board, drinking wine and taking in the beautiful weather and views. We had 5 girls and found it to be the perfect place. Giulio [the owner] was absolutely incredible. He met us at the bottom of the stairs and assisted with our luggage (not sure how we could have made it otherwise)! He greeted us with kindness and a bottle of prosecco! He was available for any questions/concerns. He made our first stop in Italy heartfelt and comfortable. Could not have been any better.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in Positano at Villa Ermelinda. The property was beautiful and comfortable, the view was spectacular!!! Each bedroom had its own air conditioner which was a definite plus with five women staying there. The owners were responsive to every request. We loved the olive oil and fresh basil that you graciously dropped off at the villa. Thank you for making our stay so amazing!!!! It was a week that will always be an incredible life-time memory for us! Summer In Italy has been great! Very responsive! Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Villa Ermelinda! This was our second trip and it was as wonderful as we remembered! The owner's family is so accommodating, so thoughtful, you feel like a part of their family! Positano is truly heaven on earth and Villa Ermelinda is the best place to experience Positano! Please don't change a thing. You are perfect! We have sent many people to Positano because of you and we will be back!!! Summer In Italy is fantastic too. We rented Villa Ermelinda with our 4 children, ages 18 to 11. It was amazing!! Way better than the pictures show it to be. My kids and I all loved it and would stay there over and over again if we could. The owner's family was there to help us with our luggage and anything we needed. We felt like part of the family. Don't change a thing, you were amazing and made our trip so special. Thank you!! Working with Summer In Italy was awesome!!!

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Ermelinda

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Ermelinda! The villa is very spacious and was very comfortable for our family of 5. The outdoor terraces have absolutely breathtaking views. We also took advantage of the private beach which was beautiful. The villa is set amidst lemon and olive trees and is very quiet and peaceful. The villa is on the top of a hill so there are quite a few steps (approximately 130 steps) but we didn't mind as everywhere in Positano is on a hillside. It was only about a 10 minute walk down the hill to the center of town where there are many fabulous restaurants. We enjoyed staying in Positano very much and feel that it was more charming and centrally located than Sorrento. Costantino and Giulio were wonderful hosts and could not have been more hospitable. They helped us throughout the week with restaurant recommendations, reservations and taxis. Upon our arrival they graciously provided us with hand-picked grapes from their vineyard, delicious fresh-baked rolls and a few essentials in the refrigerator. We had a great stay and made many fond memories there! My experience with Summer In Italy was very positive. The person I chatted with on-line with was very helpful and pleasant. The pictures of the villa on your web site were very accurate as was the description of the villa.
