The Property

A four-bedroom townhouse in the Linda Vista Playa area of San Pedro de Alcántara, set within the low-rise complex Guadalvillas, comprised of whitewashed townhouses, 5 minutes on foot from the beach. The property is arranged across three levels with a private, enclosed garden directly connected to the main living space. The ground floor is open plan, combining the living room, kitchen and dining areas into a single space. Sliding doors open directly onto the garden, bringing in natural light and reinforcing the connection between inside and out. The reformed (2026) open plan kitchen centres on an island with bar stool seating. A partial covered roof terrace provides a second outdoor area above. The Guadalvillas complex has two communal pools set within landscaped gardens with mature palm trees and 24h security.

Outdoor Spaces

The garden is fully enclosed and bordered by mature hedging on all sides, creating a private outdoor space. A lawned area sits alongside a covered terrace directly off the living area. The terrace has a dining table set for six under a pergola, with a separate lounge seating area, creating a direct connection between the interior and garden. A gas BBQ is available for guests.

Roof Terrace

The property also has a pergola-covered roof terrace. The pergola covered area has a large L-shaped sofa set with a coffee table for shaded relaxation. The rest of the terrace is uncovered and sports a high top bar table and chairs to enjoy a sundowner and a couple of sun loungers. Overall the roof terrace functions as a quieter second outdoor living area.

Location

Guadalvillas is in Linda Vista Playa, a residential area on the western edge of San Pedro de Alcantara. The area is lower density than Nueva Alcantara, with detached villas, townhouses and small complexes. Streets are quieter with minimal through traffic. Playa de Linda Vista is four minutes on foot (300m). The beach is quieter than the main San Pedro promenade beach and has coarse, darker sand with stones at the water entry. Aqua shoes are recommended, particularly for children. The main San Pedro promenade beach is around 15 to 16 minutes on foot to the east and offers a wider stretch of beach with easier access to the water, along with chiringuitos, cycle paths and playgrounds. There are two easy walking routes east toward the San Pedro promenade. One follows the beach. The other runs along Calle los Eucaliptos, a quiet shaded road past the Basilica Paleocristiana de Vega del Mar, a 4th-century early Christian site worth a visit, joining Avenida del Mediterraneo and from there the promenade. Both routes are flat and take around 15 to 16 minutes. El Ancla and Macaao Beach Club​​, the nearest beach restaurants and club, is a short walk from the complex near the beach access. El Ancla has a saltwater pool and a seafood menu. A growing cluster of cafes, convenience stores and local spots is developing along Avenida del Mediterraneo within walking distance, alongside nearby mini markets. San Pedro town centre is around 18 to 22 minutes on foot or a short drive. For larger supermarkets, a short drive is the practical option. A car gives the most flexibility from this location and is recommended. Bolt and Uber operate in the area as well as taxis, and there is a bus stop within walking distance with services to Estepona, Puerto Banus and Marbella. Puerto Banus is approximately 10 to 15 minutes by car. San Pedro de Alcantara boasts a Mediterranean climate with long warm summers. Sea breezes keep temperatures noticeably cooler than inland Andalusia in the height of summer. Spring and autumn are good for walking, golf and outdoor dining. Winter can bring cooler and occasionally rainy spells; December to February are the quieter months and while sunny days are common, pack layers and do not count on beach weather.

The Complex

Guadalvillas is a well-maintained residential complex by Linda Vista Playa. The internal streets are quiet, with traditional whitewashed Andalusian-style townhouses and well-kept communal gardens. It is a gated urbanisation with security on site. The complex has two communal pools set within mature landscaping. There are no communal sun loungers by either pool. During off-season periods there are no life guards on site. 1 pool area is also closed during the off season.

We had a great time staying at the condo.

Check in was flexible and in person. A light bulb burned out and got replaced right away. Good communication with the host. The 1st floor patio to do meals and the rooftop lounge for after dark conversation were the highlights for us.

Excellent location:

Close to beach and a couple of bars/restaurants close enough to walk to San Pedro overall quiet but not secluded. Accommodation: Clean and exactly as advertised spacious with private garden and excellent roof terrace. Complex: Very nicely laid out with two good pools very close secure and very well maintained. Service: Very good check in process and very responsive to requests.

Huset i San Pedro var perfekt til den store familie.

4 soveværelser, 3 badeværelser og et toilet, veludstyret lækkert køkken, en dejlig have og en fantastisk tagterrasse. Gåafstand til strand og promenaden langs stranden, samt til San Pedro by med et hav af hyggelige restauranter, tapas barer osv. Thomas og Collen var fantastiske værter som var hurtige til at svare hvis vi havde spørgsmål.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately it is the rule of the urbanisation that only the owners have a remote to the car entrance gate. Everyone else needs to be let in and out by security.
