Short golf trip to Praia and West Cliffs

Brilliant property, well located on the Praia site, just down the road from the clubhouse. John was very quick to respond to communications throughout.

Perfect Villa for our golf vacation

The villa sits on the 5th hole so you can watch people playing from the amazing backyard. The house was large and well appointed. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend to all. Randy

Great location and size of villa but pool and jacuzzi area disappointing

The interior of the property was clean and spacious however I had chosen the property for the heated pool and jacuzzi. The day before arrival the owner advised that the jacuzzi would not be working - citing a fault in the filter that was just discovered. Looking at the jacuzzi when we got there it was in quite a state of disrepair - uncovered, many tiles missing and floating in murky water at the bottom we all concluded it had been out of action for some time. The pool heating was minimal and the pool area very scruffy - eg wooden boards at end of pool warped and would be dangerous for children.

Hello Richard Thank you for your feedback and once again I apologize for the jacuzzi not being available for your stay . The jacuzzi had been drained a couple of weeks before your stay to replace the missing tiles but the unusually bad weather in PDR during that period meant that could not be done and when the pool engineer went to flush through the jacuzzi and refill it the day before your arrival the problem with the filter emerged . The same weather issue stopped the annual oiling of the wooden decking around part of the pool . I am sorry about these issues but hope you still managed to enjoy PDR overall ......John

I am sorry Ines that your stay did not meet your expectations. The cleaning is done by a professional company before and after each occupation and as there were no guests immediately either side of your visit time pressure should not have been as issue ...which is why it was possible to offer you the complimentary early check in and late check out you requested . The staff have checked out your observation about cockroaches and have found no evidence of this ...perhaps these were seen outside the villa in the evening ?....if you have photographs showing either poor cleaning or cockroaches that would be most useful. As for any equipment not working it is possible for this to happen in between stays and if you let me know exactly which equipment you are referring to I will have this looked at immediately ....you can of course use the site to respond or my personal e mail address which I think you have ...many thanks ..John

Unique stay and location!

We had the opportunity to stay in the property for 5 weeks during the summer of 2021. The location of the house, both for being very close to a beautiful beach entrance and the view from the pool / barbecue area over the GolfCourse and the Dunes is unique. We know quite well the area and usually you don’t have such a good location and pool space. We also had probably the best sleep in years… linens and beds are very good in quality. John and the property manager where always extremely responsive. Highly recommended!!!

Family vacation

The home was as described. It was clean spacious and had everything that you need for a family holiday. The view from the rear over the golf course was lovely and the home is conveniently located for the beach and club house. We had a few teething problems as you would expect during 3 weeks, they were responded to super efficiently and with a positive attitude (best service response times we’ve ever had in a villa rental). We would recommend this one for a family holiday.
