Criddlestyle Cottage - New Forest

This versatile New Forest self catering holiday home is within the New Forest National Park and only 1 mile form the pretty riverside town of Fordingbridge. The layout of the cottage is all on one level so is great for the less mobile. Dogs are welome and there is a secure part to the garden for larger dogs. A great play area with climbing frame, swings and trampoline await the children and a permanent hot tub with gazebo can be hired. Within walking distance of the cottage are the extensive facilities of Sandy Balls - woodlands, walks, fishing on the Hampshire Avon and a paddock with stables if you would like to bring your horses. Criddlestyle Cottage is a great place for get togethers with families and friends.

The accommodate is for up to 10 people, with a large, split level beamed sitting/dining room with wood burner, patio doors to rear garden, 50" TV with Sky package & DVD player. Comprehensively fitted kitchen with a ceramic hob & double oven, microwave, full height side by side fridge and separate freezer, dishwasher and washer drier.

There are 5 bedrooms within this New Forest Holiday Home.
Bedroom 1 has a king-size double bed and possible en-suite bathroom, bedroom two has a double bed, bedroom three has adult sized bunk beds, bedroom 4 has a double bed and possible en suite wet room suitable for the less mobile and bedroom 5 has two single beds and an en-suite shower room.

Criddlestyle Cottage can also be booked with Mews Hill (sleeps 11) or the Riverside Lodge, (Sleeps 4) all of which are separate and set within their own grounds but together they can sleep 24 and if you would like to add Jessica, our vintage VW Bay campervan which is suitable for 2 adults and 2 young children this increases to 28 but only available in the warmer months.

If you would like to bring your horses there is a paddock and stables available on a DIY basis for 2 horses at a cost of £100 per horse per week and there is also exclusive private fishing on the Hampshire Avon available priced at £75 per person per week,

Facilities and Services: Electric radiators and electricity included, phone for incoming calls and emergency outgoing calls, travel cot and high chair available on request (but please bring own cot bedding), towels included; dogs welcome at a fee of £40 per dog, fully enclosed garden with patio area; trampoline and private parking for up to four cars. Short breaks available, Friday to Friday bookings.
Hot tub available for £325 for a weekend and £400 for a week's hire. EV charging is available please enquire for details.
It is advisable to hire a car to get the most from the area. Alternatively cycle hire is available from the town.

Stay criteria is based on 7-night stays, long weekends Fri-Mon (3 nights minimum stay) or mid-week breaks Mon-Fri (4 nights minimum stay). First basket of logs free then £7.50 a bag thereafter.

Whilst it walking distance to amenities such as Sandy Balls it is advisable to hire a car to get the most from the area. Alternatively cycle hire is available from the town.
By Car:
From Salisbury: take the A338 south to Fordingbridge and Ringwood. Bear left off the A338 at the main exit to Fordingbridge. The exit slip road turns back to a T-junction with the old Southampton Road.
From Ringwood: take the A338 north to Fordingbridge and Salisbury. Take the exit to Fordingbridge the exit slip road ends at a T-junction with the old Southampton Road.
