This is an excellent house in which family groups can meet. The facilities for children are very good. My grandchildren enjoyed the trampoline in the garden and the summerhouse contained table tennis, badminton and other play equipment. The location is close to the sea and transport to the Isle of Wight as well as some of the most attractive parts of the New Forest.The bedrooms were comfortable and although there are no ensuites, the shower facilities were good. The large conservatory adjacent to the kitchen was a great eating area. The facilities in the kitchen are excellent with everything needed for a large family group.

Really clean, warm and comfortable, good Internet, TV, nice garden, good parking.Only slight drawback not enough seating in sitting room. Perhaps another small sofa.Overall it's very good value and we will use it again for a family gathering.

This property worked well for us as a family - we used it as a base for a family wedding in Lymington - and it had the perfect number of bedrooms to sleep us all - thank you very much Nathan and Julia

Second time here

This was our second stay here with all the family. The house is very spacious with loads of room for everyone. The kids adored the rope swing! We have relatives in Lymington and know the area very well and find the property really convenient for lots of New forest attractions. We may stay again!!

A Family Celebration

We had a family weekend in the New Forest. This was a lovely property with a gorgeous outdoor space in a fab location. The hosta were incredibly helpful and we're very communicative. We enjoyed out stay and I was surprised withe the amenities and everything there was there. We would definitely recommend this property and the hosts.

3 generations celebration

Overall the property was very good and met our needs. The facilities were fine except one downstairs shower room had no ventilation and smelt mouldy after use. The garden and shed needed some attention. We had a very happy time.

Spacious Property for Families

Well situated. Vehicle parking good. Ideal property for large groups. Garden perfect for games. Kitchen/conservatory perfect. Ground floor bathroom could do with some general “Tlc”. Overall our group enjoyed the stay. Would recommend.

The house was very suitable for what we booked it for . Very spacious property However the 2 downstairs bathrooms do need looking at and the outside decking areas where beginning to look tired and some of the wooden chairs are tired and dangerous Overall the house served our purpose But before very long it will need a spruce up and deep clean

Overall it was a good property in terms of space for 12 people and location.The property does need a bit for a refresh as it looks a bit tired.The beds are extremely uncomfortable, most of us struggled to get a decent nights sleep. I would urge the host to replace the beds ASAP.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house in Lymington. The kitchen was well stocked, there was plenty of seating for all guests inside and out. The garden was amazing with plenty to do for the children, a trampoline, a rope swing, a goal and some balls, not to mention the potential for hide and seek! Plenty of parking and the layout amd location of the house was perfect too! The host was welcoming, sending us clear directions and information about the house and local area beforehand. Very responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone with a group large or small who want a well located house with fantastic amenities!!

Lovely house & garden but needs extra sofa in lounge area to accommodate the number of guests staying. Some beds and mattresses need to be replaced as everytime you turn over it creaks and disturbs nights sleep. Other than this we had a great weekend, children thoroughly enjoyed rope swing. Ideal house and great space for our family, 6 Adults and 5 children.

Wedding stay

I booked the house for me and my family to stay in, in the lead up to my wedding. The house was stunning and perfect for our large family! There were 16 of us total, and the house felt spacious even with 16 of us in there. The house was immaculate, the perfect layout with an incredibly beautiful garden. The hosts of this house are amazing and quick at replying to any questions asked. Would highly recommend.

Excellent family house with play facilities in the garden

Very helpful detailed information from the host about the house facilities and things to do locally. Well equipped house with plenty of crockery and cooking equipment. One guest found the mattress a bit lumpy(GF by staircase) and it was a bit difficult to gauge the size of the bedrooms from the site photos for judging the best room for young children, but helpful to have toddler bed /cot provided. Would like the vrbo site to be clearer on how and when the 'service charge' is calculated

Heaven’s corner

We are living London, we wanted a quiet place to relax. New Forest house delivered it, having the forest just a minute walk from it allowed us to enjoy the pleasure of long walks through it, especially the dog. Our favourite times were the evenings having BBQs, playing games as family. In one day we had the pleasure to be visited by two deer in the garden as well, probably because it was raining heavily. At the bottom of the garden there’s a monkey tree swing, my favourite:)) we’ll definitely go there again.

Some TLC needed

The bedrooms layout were good, there was plenty of parking space, the conservatory was a lovely space and communication with the owner was good. However the dining room table only sat 8 so we had to bring in a rickerty table from outside and a couple of the family had to sit on the breakfast counter. There were plenty of plates and cutlery etc but the cutlery in particular could do with updating! The bedroom and bathroom upstairs were both great. However the beds in some of the other bedrooms were very old and uncomfortable - some of our party left early as the beds hurt their backs. There were enough chairs in the lounge for everyone to sit on, but that included dining room chairs so not very comfortable to sit and chat and play games as a family of 13. The garden was a lovely area and the grandchildren loved the swing and as a family we made use of badminton and table tennis. However the grass was so long and everything so overgrown that we couldn’t use any of the outside seating apart from the wooden table and chairs outside the conservatory. This could be a lovely property but would benefit from some TLC

Thank you for the feedback, Jane. We are glad that you had a good stay overall. The only comment that we found fair in the review was about grass -- and it has been taken care of since. Unfortunately, we cannot agree with the other comments, and the statement that some guests left early due to inconvenient beds sounds dubious given that we talked on the phone in the middle of your stay and you said that everything was great in the house. Perfect for a large family get together with children

We we’re really pleased with the property, especially the kitchen and dining area. It was very clean, the kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, cups and crockery. The garden was lovely for the children, the trampoline and rope swing were well used. The extra fridge in the utility meant there was more than enough fridge space for all the food and drink for a group of 15 for 3 nights. Great communication from the hosts and the recommendation for a meal at the monkey brew house was well received we had a fantastic lunch there. The only negative would be that some of us felt the beds were a little uncomfortable, but we all said we would happily stay again.

Ideal family get together house. Well positioned for the New Forest and the seaside. Easy to get to

The property is very spacious and well suited for family get togethers. The furniture is adequate and the garden is a really good size with plenty of spaces for the family. The white goods are showing their age and could be replaced to make the property a 10/10. The TV reception was a bit in and out. Whether its the position of the house/dish I'm not sure but it does need some attention. But overall a very good holiday let. Would I return? Yes, with one or two minor upgrades.

Lymington

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great family space throughout. Facilities were good. We made full use of the garden and the activities. Lovely walk next to the house, 5 mins into lymington by car and easy to get to local area. For a family weekend we would recommend this property. Check in and departure easy and communication with Nathan was good.

Great house and garden to enjoy the Forest!

Cornerways perfectly suited our needs for a small scale staff retreat (8 adults). Good amount of space to spread out - the Conservatory/kitchen is a lovely space. Weather was good to us, so we were able to have a lot of our meals at the outdoor veranda which was also very nice. Garden particularly good - having a sense of almost being in the midst of the forest! Lots of spaces to spread out or come together around the fire pit gazing at the stars (we're Londoners who don't get to the see the stars often!). We didn't need it but could see there is plenty of provision for children of all ages (table tennis, trampoline, football net, etc) Kitchen well supplied and range cooker is great. We did a lot of cooking, so if I were to be picky, I'd say a bit more dining cutlery could be handy . Beds all good - bedding not 5-star hotel standard, but all well laundered and fine. Communication with Nathan was all good - quick to respond to queries and a really helpful pack of information came through in advance which actually left very little to need to ask! Many thanks for a lovely stay!
