PLEASE NOTE SOME OF THE 'THINGS TO DO' INFORMATION MAY BE INCORRECT IN TERMS OF DISTANCES, THIS IS DONE BY GOOGLE MAPS AND I HAVE NO WAY OF CHANGING IT. THERE DEFINATELY IS NOT A BURGER KING 4 MILES AWAY!!!

For your comfort there are 3 bedrooms all with ensuite shower rooms, 2 have double beds and 1 has twin beds. Downstairs there is a spacious lounge, dinging room and a fully fitted, well equipped kitchen. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave as well as cooking equipment and utensils. There is also a private garden with stunning views for you to sit and enjoy.
Scaife Hall Cottage is part of a traditional working farm.
We keep Belted Galloway cattle and sheep which lamb in March and April. We also have some hens and sheepdogs.
There are some beautiful walks in the area through the woods and around the local reservoirs and lots of visitor attractions within a short drive.

This was a beautiful peaceful property! The home was roomy and comfy. I loved the adorable sheep on the property that greeted us. Christine was very helpful and quick to respond. Make sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and laundry detergent since these are not provided. The bed was a little too firm for me, but others in my family liked them, so it really depends on the person. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cutlery. There were fresh eggs and a delicious chocolate cake upon arrival which was a sweet treat!

We loved our stay at the farm. it was the best part of our trip. We felt like we were at home; the farm was so peaceful and beautiful. The views were amazing, as was the chocolate cake! We would highly recommend this stay!

Just perfect!

Just perfect for going to a family wedding and enjoying local walks. Would have loved to have stayed longer! Set in a stunning location, more spacious than expected, and everything was wonderful, we felt very welcomed and looked after! We really enjoyed our stay, thank you so much!

Superb house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything showed that the host put a lot of thoughts into it. The only drawback is that it’s a little far from the Yorkshire dale national park.

We had a brilliant stay at this idyllic working farm. Christine was an excellent host, contacting us directly when the property was ready early, providing eggs, milk and a delicious cake (much appreciated after a long drive) and giving us tips for the area. The house is exactly as seen and described. We visited as a family of 6 (3 generations) and there was plenty of space for relaxation, the kids to play and for us to all come together to eat inside and out. Having an en suite to each room was a great bonus. The house was perfectly clean and well equipped with everything we could have needed, including lots of games, although the kids spent the entire time entertained by watching the calves, rabbits, chicken and deer from the window or over the garden wall. We had such a brilliant time, none of us wanted to leave. We'd highly recommend.

Lovely ore Easter break

Had a great weekend . The boys loved watching the lambs. The location was perfect for walking, with Bolton Abbey only 10 minutes away. Lots of pubs and restaurants. Overall a great place for a great weekend

Lovely Farm Cottage in perfect surroundings

A wonderful holiday in a lovely cottage with stunning views. Fully equipped and spotlessly clean and hosts Christine and Chris made us feel very welcome in their space (hundreds of acres of it) Petting the lambs and feeding the chickens would have kept the children amused for the entire week. Looking forward to returning soon!

Excellent property, everything you need is there and a warm welcome from the hosts. Christine has thought of everything. From an easy check in to kitchen essentials. With a lovely raised deck to sit with a cuppa and admire the farm animals and views. Plenty of birdsong morning and eve. Thoroughly recommend.

Lambing Season - Fabulous Base

Cannot express how fabulous this place is. The hosts Christine and Chris are welcoming and friendly and were more than happy to show us around to see the lambs. Set on a beautiful farm with it's own lovely walks. Very welcoming place and a lovely chocolate cake upon arrival (as equally pleasant as the hosts) Would highly recommend a stay.

Delightful

We have just spent a delightful week at Scaife Hall Farm. Being a working farm added richness to our experience. Having our welcoming host next door was reassuring. The cottage is ideally located for exploring the Dales. The accommodation was first class and we highly recommend it.

The Cottage

This property is everything it says on the tin!! A real home from home, Christine has thought of everything. The views, the location, the hosts and surrounding areas are all fabulous. If you are looking for a little piece of heaven, this is it. We are so pleased we have been able to experience it.

A short break on a working farm

The location was perfect for our family, plus our dog. The accommodation couldn’t have been better. 3 double bedrooms each with its on en-suite. Fully equipped kitchen, with the added bonus of milk, fresh farm eggs, and a delicious chocolate cake. Thank you Christine for your warm welcome and help. We thoroughly recommend.

A wonderful stay in the country

We had a superb week in this cottage, which is part of a farmhouse on an active farm. It was exciting to see the new calves arrive and able to stand up so soon after being born. The view from the upstairs windows at the front is amazing, and there is a lovely garden. Christine's hospitality was exemplary, with home-baked cake on arrival, fresh eggs, and plunger coffee. The kitchen is very well-equipped. Plenty of space for 6 adults, and a range of beautiful walks directly from the cottage. We would love to return someday.
