Tout nouveau 4 chambres, 3. 5 salles de bains pour 11 personnes avec une vue incroyable sur la baie de Chesapeake depuis le premier et le deuxiÚme étage de la véranda double. L'Oyster Bed Inn est en ville et à seulement un pùté de maisons de la plage. Profitez de la cuisine dans la toute nouvelle cuisine à armoires blanches avec étagÚres flottantes et hotte de cuisine commerciale tout en discutant avec tous vos invités dans le salon. A l'étage, vous trouverez un grand espace loft qui sert de deuxiÚme espace de divertissement. Nous avons également 2 chambres de maßtre, 1 en bas et 1 à l'étage. Le maßtre en bas est isolé à l'arriÚre de la maison loin de l'agitation des zones de divertissement tandis que le maßtre à l'étage a un accÚs privé au porche du deuxiÚme étage. Imaginez avoir une tasse de café ou un mimosa surplombant la baie de Chesapeake depuis les porches du premier ou du deuxiÚme étage. Dans l'arriÚre-cour, nous avons une douche extérieure et un patio avec un grill, une table de pique-nique, des chaises et des parasols pour profiter d'un barbecue ou se détendre pendant un coucher de soleil.

Just perfect

My family and I had a lovely stay at the Oyster Bed Inn. Spacious, clean and comfortable; well appointed and simply lovely. We had a view of the bay and a quick walk to the beach. I would highly recommend this beach house to any and all.

Great vacation house

We loved staying at this house! Everything was clean and comfortable. There is plenty of space (we had 8 adults and 3 young children). You may want to bring water to drink; we didn't like the taste of the tap water. The beach was an easy walk.

Family Vacation at Cape Charles

This is a very comfortable house for our family beach vacation. It's only a short walk to the beach, and golf cart close to the heart of Cape Charles. The house is very clean, well stocked, and spacious. Our Favorite!

Great House on the Cape

Loved the house. It was great for our combined family trip (6 adults and 3 kids.) The open layout was perfect for gathering a large group. The kitchen was very nice. All of the bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. Great location easily walkable to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay.

Vacation at Oyster Bed Inn, Cape Charles

We are delighted with the property, and have stayed at it before. It's an easy walk to the beach, even for the kids, and a quick golf cart ride into the heart of Cape Charles. All of the bedrooms are spacious, and having a master on the first floor is a plus. The kitchen is nicely stocked. It is a really nice place and we hope to stay there again.

We had a fantastic first stay at Cape Charles. The Oyster Bed Inn was the perfect place for our mini family reunion. We had everything we could need (besides a working DVD player which was quickly remedied by the owner!). The kitchen does need a wine bottle opener. It’s a beautiful and spacious house - very close to the beach and town. Five stars!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oyster Bed Inn for our family beach vacation. The house is comfortable and perfectly located for a short walk to the beach, and golf cart close to shops and restaurants in the heart of Cape Charles. The house is clean, well stocked, and spacious. We love it! A particular treat during our stay was the Cape Charles 5th Annual Crab Slam Festival, which included a Shriners' Parade. To our surprise, the parade formed and began on Washington Ave, in front of the house. It was fun to watch, and our grandson was invited to climb aboard their Pirate Ship float, for pictures. Thank you Oyster Bed Inn for this family vacation memory!

This was our second stay at the Oyster Bed Inn. It couldn’t have been better. The owner was very cordial and helpful. The house was immaculate. Great instructions on how to take care of the home. The location is perfect. You can walk to the beach and to town. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home in a fabulous town!

Although I've visited Cape Charles a few times, this is my first rental. And oh, what a great choice it was! The home is beautifully furnished with plenty of room for 10 friends. It's a VERY short walk to a lovely beach. The water was calm (perfect for floating) and the sunsets were spectacular! The two front porches were great for early morning coffee or an after dinner beverage. I will certainly recommend this home to others and hope to return myself.

Oyster Bed Inn Vacation

We thoroughly enjoy staying at the Oyster Bed Inn and have vacationed there for years. The house is always clean and inviting, and the bedroom layout is perfect for my family (2 preteen kids, their parents, 2 grandparents, and an aunt. The location is ideal - only several hundred feet from the Cape Charles public beach, and a quick golf cart ride to all of the Cape Charles restaurants and attractions. It is well equipped to cook-in, or very close to dine out anywhere in town. Also new for us this year, we had stand up paddle boards delivered to the house, and picked up later. So convenient - we love it. Thanks.

We LOVED our stay at the Oyster Bed Inn. Literally 1 Block from the beach - so convenient. Very walkable to downtown. The home was beautiful, new, very clean and comfortable. The Kitchen is stunning with the enormous granite peninsula for food set up. The huge dining room table was great for meals, as well as games, legos, etc. The set up with the King master on the main floor, Upstairs: Queen master, single queen BR, , Double queen BR, full Jack & Jill bath with tub, Loft play area with day bed was perfect for our family. Great privacy for everyone. LOVED the outdoor shower - nice bonus. Beds were very comfortable. The hosts were very attentive and responsive. We would rent this again on our next trip to CC.

The Oyster Bed Inn – A Great Beach Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the Oyster Bed Inn very much. It offers an excellent combination of comfort, attractiveness, and Cape Charles beach location. Also, it's a nice fit for my family. The Chesapeake Bay beach is shallow, without large waves, and safe for the kids. The property description and amenities are accurate. With small children, we appreciated the variety of bedrooms, and little things like hand soap in each bath, filtered water and ice in the refrigerator door. The house was clean and well stocked, adequate parking for two cars and a golf cart, and a really close walk to the beach. We certainly recommend Oyster Bed Inn, and expect to use it again. Cape Charles offers a calm beach vacation without all the hype, - safe beach, nice shops, kid-friendly restaurants, a cool local brewery, marinas for boat trips, - - -and golf carts are allowed on the city streets. A real vacation!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Oyster Inn! The main floor Master was great for the elderly parents as well as the open floor plan! Kitchen is a 👍👍 and the dining table was great to spread out a puzzle for evening entertainment! Quick walk into town for ice cream and shopping as well as the beach! Perfect beach for families and sunset photos! Owners were great to work with as well! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

Birthday Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house in Cape Charles. Very close walking distance to the beach or the restaurants/shops although we did rent golf carts as well. House was very spacious and well decorated however the slipcovers on living room furniture moved around a lot. Really enjoyed just sitting on the porch and relaxing. Would definitely recommend this house.

Oyster Bed Inn - Our Favorite Beach Get-away

We've just had another great stay in Cape Charles at the Oyster Bed Inn. We love the house and location. It is close to the beach and downtown Cape Charles, and always a treat to travel by golf cart - everywhere. The house is clean, well appointed, and suits our group (5 adults and 2 kids, 7 and 10 years old). Vacations there are quiet and restful. Thanks!

The house was great, well equipped and very clean. The location was also very convenient to everything we wanted (beach and easy walk to shops). Just a few items would have made it perfect... a full length mirror, a couple of extra bath towels and a clothesline in the back to hang beach towels and bathing suits. Overall, would recommend this property and would book again.

Cape Charles Rental

This property was close to the beach and an excellent choice for a large family. Future renters should be aware that the view of the beach is partially blocked and that the primary view is of subsidized housing units located directly across the street. The house had just about everything one would need for a weeks rental. Our only complaint would be that the main living room furniture was a faux leather loveseat and sofa that was peeling so badly that the owner had it covered with partial slip covers that constantly bunched and slid off - pieces of the faux leather sloughed off to the floor and we which required frequent vacuuming. We felt that this furniture should have been replace considering the price we paid for the rental. We also felt there was not enough seating for the number of people this house can accommodate. My family would rent this property again but not with the living room furniture in the condition it is in.

A week of relaxing fun at Cape Charles, VA

Excellent property well maintained and comfortably furnished. There were 8 of us 6 adults and 2 children. Everything was set up and ready for use when we arrived. Located only half a block from the beach made it possible to go there easily and often. Beautiful front porch with rockers provided the opportunity to sit and enjoy. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
