Escape to the beautiful Sierras and experience a delightful stay at our charming cabin in Mi Wuk Village. Our cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bath rustic cabin just over 1400 sq felt, is the perfect destination for a family retreat or a group getaway of 8.

Enjoy the rustic charm of our cabin with the modern amenities that you can't do without.

The cabin boasts a stunning loft with 2 comfortable queen beds, plus 2 additional bedrooms, each with a cozy queen bed. The master bedroom features a cozy king bed with en-suite, also an additional 3rd bedroom with queen bed. All bedrooms feature clean cozy linens.

The open living room is well-appointed with comfortable seating and a cozy fireplace (firewood included). Whip up a home-cooked meal in our fully equipped kitchen or grill up some burgers on the large deck with our outdoor BBQ.

Mi-Wuk Village is a community situated in the Stanislaus National Forest that offers unique mountain experiences for every type of traveler. You can hike in nearby alpine meadows or explore the scenic mountain trails. Set against the beautiful Sierra mountains, Mi Wuk Village is a great starting point for numerous activities like skiing, boating or fishing. Sled down the snowy hills or venture off on an ATV tour of our beautiful forests.

The local towns nearby offer an array of attractions and activities for visitors. You can check out the Tuolumne County Museum and History Center, boating or kayaking at Pinecrest Lake, trying your luck at nearby casinos or shop for unique antiques and handmade crafts in downtown Sonora. National Parks and Preservation Area nearby include Yosemite National Park, Stanislaus Nation Forest and the Humboldt-Toiyabe Nf.

Excellent stay for my family. The pantry was well stocked and the beds were really comfortable. The only thing we couldn't do was use the telescope since it was quite cloudy, but the fireplace made up for it.

Perfect family getaway

We loved this property! Beds were comfy and everything was super clean. Loved that the kitchen was stocked with all the little extra things you forget on a trip. Felt very safe her with the kids.

Beautiful house! We hope to come back.

This is a gorgeous, fully remodeled house with beautiful furniture and decor. It would be very comfortable for a family traveling with a baby or small children because it has a crib, gates on the stairs and tons of crayons.

Beautiful Cozy Cabin

We had the best time staying here. We arrived at night and all the motion sensor lights up the stairs and on the front porch were so helpful and well thought out. Inside the cabin was so beautiful and cozy everything was comfortable, easy to use, labeled and well thought out for guest. We traveled to the near by snow park for inner tubing, while also visiting a few local restaurants and shops. Everybody we met along the way was so friendly, the drive and area was beautiful. We found a few nice places to walk and take in the views. If you are visiting this area, I highly recommend staying in this home for your trip

Awesome home for a Sierra getaway

We (6 adults and a dog) had a wonderful stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. The home has a great layout for a family, with a large, open dining and family room. Everything was in great condition and well organized. The phone chargers around the house were a nice touch. Also, the kitchen has a compact dual oven, which is very handy if you're prepping for a family. The owners were super-responsive and helpful with the few questions we had. Also, they were very patient and helpful with a problem the VRBO website had confirming payment. All-in-all, a five-star experience.

Best stay ever. 10 stars!!

Best hosts ever!! Every element of our stay was perfect. The dodge ridge parking pass literally allowed us to park within 10 steps of the lodge which was a huge benefit for us hauling all of our kids race gear. The beds and linens were so comfortable I’m debating asking the host where they got them because they are nicer than what I have at home. Well stocked coffee bar, plenty of spices and condiments and the couch has like 3 recliners and phone chargers on both ends. Every room also had high speed charging ports which was super convenient. Access in and out was easy, and the level 2 charger was very appreciated as well. Seriously, this was a wonderful stay and we will absolutely stay again! Thank you so much!!

Nicely remodeled, clean and spacious

We had an excellent stay at this comfortable and cozy cabin. It was tastefully and thoughtfully appointed down to the detail. Our teens loved the comfy leather couch with recliners and the cozy beds, and we appreciated the fully fenced yard and deck for the safety and ease of taking our small dog out. There were wireless chargers at every end table and bedside table, the bathrooms were clean and modern, and even the kitchenware was of good quality. No mismatched thrift store junk here! There were cooking spices available for use as well as some condiments in the fridge. It was really clear the hosts have put a lot of thought, care and love into this lovely place. All in all we were extremely comfortable and had all the amenities we could ask for!

Amazing stay

Look no further—this was hands down the most thoughtfully appointed VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. You can tell the owners really care that their guests have a wonderful and comfortable stay. From the super comfy motorized reclining leather couch with foot rests, to the very comfortable mattresses and pillows, to the hotel-level blackout curtains in the bedrooms, to the fluffy towels (with plenty of extras), to the device chargers strategically located throughout the cabin, to the fully stocked kitchen, to the thoughtful childproofing throughout, to the handheld showers in both bathrooms, to the jacuzzi tub, to the generous firewood supply for the wood burning stove, to the well-maintained outdoor furniture, to the gas fire pit and wood burning grill, to the snow play supplies/sleds, to the quick responses to questions, you will not lack for anything during your stay. A truly exceptional cabin—you will not be disappointed. We feel lucky to have found it and expect we will return. Even our three year old, who doesn’t usually like new places, said he liked this one and didn’t want to leave!

Mountain Gem

This property is a true mountain gem. The owners have thought of every detail and everyone in our group of eight praised everything from the construction quality of this mountain home to all of the amenities the owners anticipated we would need for a wonderful time. We were given a bottle of wine, sparkling apple cider, and a cool cabin to enter because they turned the AC on so we could arrive in comfort. This home has high-end appliances, quality furnishings and everything you will need to be comfortable during your stay. Jennifer checked in and was very accommodating and attentive to any questions we had. As a result, we knew the owners wanted us to have a special experience. My family kept telling me to be sure to give this property a fabulous review because it is well-deserved.

This is our home away from home and we hope you feel the same serenity as we do when we are here!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

As you walk up the covered staircase to the main entrance, you will be greeted by a large deck. In the summertime your family can entertain while enjoying the outdoor furniture and gas firepit. Also, enjoy a meal at the outdoor dining table. Off the deck is the main door, which opens up to the main floor where you'll be greeted by cathedral pine ceilings. This floor includes the living room, dining room, kitchen. The large open windows offer beautiful views of the pine trees.

The well-equipped kitchen is stocked with a variety of spices and oils, pots pans, casserole dishes, a crockpot, pressure cooker, blender, rice cooker and more!

This home easily sleeps 8 people! On the main floor the Master Bedroom is also located it features a king bed, pullout twin sofa bed, walk-in closet as well as a large ensuite with walk in shower. The second guest bedroom is furnished with a cozy queen bed and good size closet. Also, located on the main floor is the guest bathroom, which features a jacuzzi bathtub with a shower combo.

Upstairs is a large loft bedroom which is bedroom #3, it features two cozy queen beds and small closet.

Each bed in the home features a warm comforter and soft pillows> Extra Blankets are provided if needed. We have a full cleaning service, therefore there is no need to strip the beds prior to leaving!

The Stanislaus National Forest is the backyard to Mi-Wuk Village. Discover its unimaginable beauty...and adventure. From various difficulty levels hiking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and snow shoeing.


The small town of Mi-Wuk Village is less than a mile away and Twain Harte is approximately 3.5 miles away, where there is great food and shopping and, in the summer, enjoy a stroll along the "Ditch" in Twain Harte. Pinecrest Lake is a short 15-minute drive up the hill and offers swimming, boat rentals, kayaks and paddle boards and great fishing.
Dodge Ridge Ski Resort is a little further up than Pinecrest, offers skiing and snowtubing for the kids.

We have sleds during the winter and innertubes in the summer!

Just want to relax at the cabin. Feel free, there are plenty of games for the family to play and we offer free streaming of Netflix, Disney, Paramount Plus! Even a walk around the village is extremely refreshing!
