Great location for exploring the National Park.

Daisy cottage is a delightful place to stay, very clean and well maintained. Church House Farm is brilliantly situated for a visit to great locations in the National Park and is within easy reach of delightful places on the coast.

A clean comfortable cottage that is not overpriced, very friendly people.

Very comfortable with everything you could need. Much better than a hotel. Ideal for exploring East Yorkshire. The welcome plate of scones was a nice touch.

Yorkshire at its best

Stayed for 3 nights in Daisy Cottage on B&B basis. Accommodation was first class, very clean & comfortable. A perfect base for both walking and visiting the coast with a good choice of local pubs for evening meals. Met some lovely people staying there and our hosts were very friendly, helpful & efficient. We really felt welcome.

An excellent base to enjoy the peaceful and scenic surrounds.

Immaculate and comfortable cottage, with friendly and helpful hosts. Welcome cake, biscuits, tea, coffee and milk were a nice touch and much appreciated. Lovely garden for guests to enjoy, overlooking the hills. Great base for exploring the area on foot and as well as take day trips in the car. Perfect stay and look forward to going back.

Comfortable and relaxing - home from home.

We have stayed at Church House Farm a good number of times and always thoroughly enjoy our stay. We choose to stay in 'Daisy' cottage, which we have always found to be extremely comfortable (wonderful bed!) and equipped with everything we might need. We must also mention Rachel and Rory, who work hard to make sure everything is just so for a perfect stay. A warm and friendly greeting is assured - we look forward to coming back again next year.

Fabulous cottage, very well equipped, everything needed in kitchen. Lots of storage in the bedroom. Lovely views, & a quiet peaceful garden . Rachel & Rory were very friendly & helpful.

Wonderful walking in the North York Moors park

Some of the best walks you'll find anywhere with a great combination of hills and coastal paths. Plenty of places of interest to visit (Ryedale Folk Museum especially recommended). Plenty of excellent pubs serving good food... and good beer. Danby is a great centre to explore this gem of a national park from. Our cottage was comfortable and well equipped.

Lovely cottage in a great location

Arrived to a nice home made sponge cake. The cottage was immaculately clean and looked as though it had recently been renovated.the owners also loaned us a travel cot which was lovely. Although it was a cold weekend with snow we were warm and the shower was always hot enough. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Peerless we love Church House Farm

Peace and quiet, far from the madding crowd and yet many places to visit within easy reach. Accommodation is spotless and Rachel is loveliness itself, nothing to much trouble. We are of course going back later on in the year.

Relaxing home from home break. Can’t wait to return!

We booked a six night stay for the first week of October. We were upgraded from Daisy Cottage to Bluebell as there was a plumbing problem and we were delighted with this option. We asked to view Daisy Cottage and although smaller it was also charming and homely and we would happily stay in either again.

Gastvrij, stil,schoon en mooie omgeving

Super aardige gastvrouw, erg schoon en goed geoutilleerd huisje met gebruik van de tuin. Het uitzicht en de omgeving zijn mooi, landelijk met de Moors vlakbij.
