Situé au coeur du village, à quelques mÚtres de la mer et de la plage de sable fin.

SituĂ© au cƓur de Runswick Bay, Galleon House est une charmante maison avec un charmant intĂ©rieur contemporain, avec fixations et accessoires d'un niveau Ă©levĂ©, idĂ©al pour une pause dĂ©tente en bord de mer.
Donnant sur la mer depuis le salon, vous pourriez presque ĂȘtre dans la cabine d'un galion! Vous ĂȘtes avec en quelques minutes Ă  pied de la plage de sable, la mer, un cafĂ© et un pub.
Le logement est situé sur 3 étages. La porte d'entrée donne sur l'étage du milieu plan- un, plan ouvert salon / cuisine / salle à manger bien aménagée. A l'étage, une chambre double avec lit king size et salle de bain, tout est en bas une salle de lits superposés, une autre chambre double avec lit king size et la salle de douche maison.
Dehors, il y a une terrasse pavée avec une table et des chaises, parfait pour se détendre et profiter de la vue sur la mer.

The photos dont do it justice. This is such a beautiful place to stay. Sitting in the front room watching the sea . Very comfortable beds.Welcome pack is above and beyond.Very well equiped kitchen. Lovely shower.

Absolutely amazing. This was a birthday surprise for my GF and she said that she couldn't have chosen a better cottage!!!Lovely views, great location, lovely pub next door serving nice food, nice walks, close to Sands end and Staithes...couldn't improve on the location.The cottage itself was lovely inside and it was more spacious inside than I expected. The cottage had everything we needed and even had a lovely welcome pack.My GF loved the flowers and sparkling wine and I loved the lemon drizzle cake and home made jam.I can't suggest anything that could have been improved on. 5 star stay.

Fabulous cottage with stunning view of the sea and bay. A cottage with character yet modernised to a high standard. The kitchen is well equipped and comfortable beds. Very clean throughout. Sarah (host) was brilliant in providing timely and reliable information. Would stay again and highly recommend.

We’ve had the pleasure of staying at Galleon House several times now and it never fails to deliver. The attention to detail, cleanliness and fabulous welcome pack are all much appreciated! The position of the house with its many windows provides beautiful views of the whole bay which we never tire of looking at. Sarah is a wonderful host and strives to ensure that everything is perfect for your stay and we would certainly recommend Galleon House to anyone looking to stay in Runswick Bay !

Fantastic cottage overlooking the sea..the views from the big windows were amazing..absolutely everything you could possibly need is in the cottage ..sarah the host left a fantastic welcome package and a beautiful homemade cake which went down a treat each day after a walk on the beach.. and the chocolates left on the pillows were a lovely touch..The furnishings were all beautifully thought of with the character of the cottage..The surrounding area was beautiful too..we will definitely be back as we loved it so much..The pub next door was also welcoming with lovely food ...

ANOTHER MAGICAL STAY!!!

We stayed for the first time in November 24 loved it so much we booked for November 25- but couldn't wait that long so we managed to squeeze in a summer visit! It's such a wonderful cottage. Same views, same warm welcome but with the sun glistening on the sea and the pub next door open every day

Fantastic staycation

Beautiful cottage in beautiful Runswick Bay. Everything was just perfect from the moment we walked through the door and the extra touches were just the icing on the cake. The cottage has a games cupboard, a well stocked kitchen so made cooking very easy, coffee machine and pods, netflix, a homemade cake, prosecco, milk, jam and butter were all those extra touches that give the owner the 5 stars she deserves.Will definitely be returning as my family had a great time and my kids are keen to go fossil hunting on the beach again.Thank you for being an amazing host, your cottage is outstanding

Wonderful cottage

What a wonderful weekend we have had at Galleon House. This cottage is stunning and the attention to detail in the accommodation and decor is first class. All home comfort you can ever dream of and the homemade lemon drizzle cake was outstanding. Can’t wait to go again next year.

A nice rest

This property must be the best in the village. There are wonderful views across the bay and if the window is open, you can hear the waves lapping onto the beach. The property has just about everything to make the stay comfortable and the kitchen is a dream with every utensil you could ever want to use. The host, Sarah, is available and so very helpful to sort any queries. And it was wonderful to be greeted with a welcome pack of essentials like bread, butter and milk, and extra treats like a freshly baked cake and bottle of Prosecco. We went away for a nice little break and this property was the perfect place.

Perfect Stay

Beautiful property with the most amazing view!The cottage itself is warm and cosy, Sarah the host, has thought of everything, there is even an air fryer! Beds are very comfortable. The interior is tastefully decorated. The welcome pack was very generous. We really didn’t want to leave!

Our happy place

Another fabulous stay at Galleon House. The house is stunning as are the views across the bay. We enjoyed swimming and walks on the beach. Sarah’s attention to detail is amazing, the beautiful decor dressed with hearts and flowers for Valentine’s was a lovely touch. The house has everything you need and more for a lovely stay. There was an amazing welcome pack, we especially loved the homemade cake, jam and Prosecco along side milk, juice, bread and butter. We’ve already booked to return.

Amazing place

Absolutely amazing cottage, really well stocked with everything you could conceivably need for a comfortable stay. The homemade cake and welcome pack of bread, milk, jam, orange juice and prosecco were fabulous. We had a blissful New Year with fireworks on the beach, a pub next door and the sound of the sea to wake up to. We loved it, thank you Sarah for the whole experience. Absolutely a five star property.

Winter weekend

Absolutely fantastic. Spent the weekend of my birthday. Upon arrival there were balloons, bunting and a birthday cake (possibly worth the visit alone). There was also a very nice welcome pack that included just what we needed for the next morning before we went shopping. The location is amazing, overlooking the bay and next door to the village pub. Could easily have spent the weekend looking at the view from the living room. The cottage had everything that you would expect to need, beautifully decorated and cosy. Very comfy bed and bedding. Could not have asked for more

Short Break for a total rest

Just perfect. A short break to just do nothing but read, walk and look for fossils. The little things make the biggest impact. Herbs and spices to use when cooking. An excellent selection of cooking pots, pans and dishes. The cake and fizz and other fridge items all made it so much more than a ‘holiday house’. Just lovely. The beds are so comfortable The location is perfect.
