We liked the location as it is great for walks from the cottage and we liked being able to walk around the farm and fields. The cottage had everything we needed, comfy beds, lots of hot water and warm. The owners are friendly and helpful, would stay there again.

After a difficult few months in our lives, we wanted a break where we could relax in peace and quiet, to recuperate. For such a holiday, this is the best property we have ever stayed in. The house and location were perfect and the hosts were perfect too.

Wonderful family holiday

We enjoyed a wonderful family break (3 generations) at Wingate Farm. Stunning location, lovely farm cottage which is well looked after and beautifully clean. Our host was friendly and helpful. We would all highly recommend this cottage.

A haven in North Devon

An enchanting stay in a perfect location for a reunion of our English friends. We had such a wonderful time enjoyed every moment together and appreciated the delightful location The hostess was attentive to any needs and despite any initial reservation we had it was a great to have a “semi detached “ property and the accommodation was quiet warm and beautifully appointed.

Beautiful location, high standard of cleanliness throughout the cottage. It had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely return. We visited The Royal Oak in Withypool for Sunday lunch which was excellent. We found most places in the area to be very dog friendly.

Superb cottage with plenty of room and very peaceful. We did a lovely circular walk from the cottage; head out to County Gate then walk to the Blue Ball for a pint, via Brendon, Rockford and Watersmeet... a gorgeous valley. From the pub, pick up the coast path back to the cottage... about 11 miles.

Superb house

We stayed as a family for my Mum's birthday weekend, we spent alot of time searching and are extremely pleased with our choice. Easy check in process, very spacious and clean, highly recommend. BBQ area, pub 10 mins drive, Tesco delivery area available too. Comfy beds and lounge, all the utensils in kitchen needed Thank you so much

We have just had a fantastic short break at wingate farm. The kids loved the animals and watching the tractor coming and going. The cottage was warm, clean and comfortable with great cooking facilities and a large kitchen table which seated all seven of us comfortably. We will definitely be back.
