Great Place!!

Stayed a week, and had a great time. Rhian was very responsive with communication. Place is beautiful and super clean. Equipped with everything you need.Great location. Couldnt have asked for better.

Great cottage, great location, owner easy to deal with

This is a really nice cottage in a great location close to Penn Yan , groceries stores, shopping, restaurants, Seneca Farms ice cream, Indian Pines roadside stand and also close to West side of lake, Branchport. It is clean, bedding provided , nice kitchen and living room, netflix, the deck is right on the water, off street parking for one vehicle. My second stay and I have booked for next year.

Absolutely loved my stay at this cottage

I had the most wonderful time at this cottage. The cottage was neat and clean, right on the water and the location for me was wonderful. I had friends in walking distance. I love the Indian Pines produce stand. The location to tops market was great. The sheets were clean and soft.

We checked in dinner was amazing on the lake. Wine tour the next day fabulous evening. Weather wasn’t great but lots to do! Stairs were a workout and parking was tight but all was good and we were informed of both stairs and parking !!💕

Relaxing weekend

My only complaint is the lack of toilet paper and soap upon arrival. Besides that we loved the games that were provided and loved sitting on the dock in the morning and the cute farm stands nearby. Overall a great relaxing weekend

Grandma Visit

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was just what we needed for the men. Mu son caught 20+ and returned them to the lake. My grandson loved wading in the water and watching all the boats and skiers. Rhian was easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend.

Family Lake Week

The house had a nice cottage feel, just what we were looking for. The beds were comfortable and the layout was nice - no space wasted and very open. It was so nice to be able to grab some coffee in the morning and sit out on the porch with the lake right in front of us, then go for a swim. Peaceful area, but close to Seneca Farms for some great ice cream and close to town. Nice bike riding area, as well. It was just the perfect layout for the six of us.The description was right on, and Rhian messaged right away to be sure we got in ok and that all was good to go. Very clear instructions on the fridge for internet, trash, checkout, how to contact her, etc. We enjoyed our week very much.

Relaxing with great views!

We traveled up to the area where our adult daughter was participating in a full triathlon so we were looking for a comfortable place on the course that was accessible to us and provided us with vacation time after her race. This cottage was magnificent! Very close to town center with easy to get to grocery stores. The view from the house and deck was gorgeous. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck which was literally over the water. The lake water was clear and warm! We enjoyed bringing out the canoe and managed to explore a little of the lake between the rain drops! The bedrooms for us were perfect and beds were comfortable. The a/c made the stay comfortable for sleeping. We are used to 2 bathrooms and that was my biggest concern but the 1 bath worked out just fine. Water in shower was nice and hot! Television was fine for our needs and they had plenty of games to play if you wished. Updates to the house were obvious in the kitchen and bathroom. While we were 4 adults, we didn’t mind the stairs going to the house at all but it might be a challenge with small children if you carry a lot of equipment or for people who have trouble negotiating stairs but that’s what you sacrifice for being directly in the water! However, there were amenities for babies such as a high chair and pack n play so you don’t need to bring those. The host was readily available with questions if needed. I would most definitely consider staying at this property again if we were to return to the area!

Great location amazing lake views good house!

Let me start by saying we’ve been coming to Keuka for 19 summers now and have rented soooo many houses all on the lake. Although this wasn’t the best or worst, it was definitely the best views! Amazing sunrises! Many typical stairs down to the house, but once you’re there, you’re there. There is one dedicated parking spot and then 2 others on the street aside it. The neighbors to the right, facing the lake, we’re very nice. But you can tell, the owners don’t come to the house very often or ever. They are attentive when you contact them, but it definitely feels like it’s on auto pilot. Which I totally get, cause I also have a rental of my own. There were a few small things broken, which I should have told them when I arrived, but thought that was just the way it was (ie blinds, door handle, one blade in window fan) But when I mentioned to the owner afterward, seemingly she had no knowledge. The one thing that bugged me, lol, was all the dead bugs in and on the outside of the windows. Especially on the lakefront deck. There were just a lot of flying bugs out there after dark, which is not there fault. But could be cleaned between rentals more thoroughly. We did have a great time, as always, and we brought our own floats(as we usually do). Because most of theirs had holes. But lake house rentals are all about location. So being right on the lake is fantastic. They are so close to town, it was nice to just be able to run over to Tops or Indian Pines or Seneca Farms. There’s only one bathroom, so if you do have 8 people, it’s a little bit of a pain but you’ll survive. Also I’m not sure why there’s no a/c in that one small BR. I am fine at the lake w/o one, but I found it annoying, since the rest of the house seemed equipped. The living area was great with a large kitchen/dining/living room though. Overall, I say if you chose lake over luxury, this place is great!

Family vacation

No communication with the owner, had to get the key box number from cleaning staff. No gas tanks for the outdoor grill, tried to contact the owner and got no response. The door knob broke off the door. Basic upkeep was ok. The dock is not ideal for a boat, struggled to find a place to tie off. Under the stairs outside looks very junky with old rafts and just stuff…

Peaceful and so pleasant

We sat on deck sitting over the water a lot. So peaceful and relaxing. The cottage is nice, clean, and well kept. Close to town when we needed to run in for groceries, etc. We had a great week.

Lake kueka

Great view and weather, but too many steps (38) for older people. House is in pretty rough condition for the money. Wish it was the house next door with the mechanical lift.

The house has a brand new kitchen and bathroom with all new appliances in the kitchen. All of these houses have many steps going down to the lake (because the house is right on the lake). A mechanical lift is certainly a rarity! This guest did inform me that one of the lightbulbs needed to be replaced and that the light in the fridge was out. My cleaner informed my about the light in the fridge right before this guest checked in and I did not have time to fix it. My house is certainly not in rough shape, it is my family's vacation home and I am proud to share it with others.

Lakefront retreat

Had a great time with our family of 4 and were able to get lots of water time. Very long staircase down to home and the steps down to the water can be a bit dangerous. It’s a lake house so quite a few spiders, con webs and bugs which come with the territory. We have a 1.5 and 5 year old and we managed and had a blast but some may not feel as comfortable with small children and all the stairs and being right on the water. Need to be vigilant for sure. The home is older but very charming and well taken care of. The homeowner was very responsive and helpful. They also had life vests, a canoe, floats and a pack and play all of which made traveling with kiddos much easier. Keuka lake is so clear and beautiful! One of the best of the Finger Lakes. We also enjoyed Seneca Farms and did some wine tasting. Great location!!

Perfect Stay on the lake

We had a nice stay at Dan's place on Keuka Lake. The location is perfect, minutes to super markets, restaurants, wineries, and everything you need. The house was spotless. The view is just gorgeous. Dan responded our per-check-in questions timely. Highly recommended.

Needs some tlc

Cute little cottage right on the water. A decent size for a cottage this price, the living space was spacious enough for people to be able to do a few things at once. Air conditioning in the living room, master bedroom, and room with 4 beds was good, but in the second queen bed room there was none. It was very warm in the room without any AC, and we ended up sleeping with the door open. Linens and towels provided, as well as a washing machine and dryer to help with laundry throughout the week. Bring your own laundry detergent, and just about everything else, this place does not provide amenities and the amenities it did provide we needed to replace. We bought dish soap, paper towels, body soap, shampoo and conditioner, laundry detergent. It’s not a necessity in a vacation rental but it is often a nice touch. 3 parking spots, which was hugely helpful! Internet had a good speed, never had a problem. Kitchen was well stocked and the dishwasher was very helpful. Grill works well. TV is a smart tv which we did not find out until halfway through the week, but that was nice to watch tv together at the end of the night. Now to address some of the disappointments for the week. There is absolutely no lawn space so using the provided fire pit is really not practical. The entire place did not seem to be cleaned before hand. There were cobwebs everywhere, small sharp rocks on the “lawn” aka pavement that were easily swept away but had not been so prior to our arrival, and the patio area upstairs was absolutely filthy. There was absolutely no way this area had been cleaned this season. Finally there was no inflatable raft as had been advertised in pictures and in the text. Apparently this had been popped, which was very disappointing. All in all this place needs a little TLC to make it more presentable but we had a great time.
