The only downside was that since we stayed during Christmas, there was no Christmas tree or holiday décor in the cabin. It would have been really nice if this had been offered as an option during the holiday season, as it would have added to the experience.Another concern was the check-in and check-out times. I never quite understood the late check-in and early check-out policy. Ideally, the times should align better, or if the cabin is already ready, guests should be allowed to check in earlier. Some travelers prefer not to wait until the last minute to reach their destination, especially when traveling long distances.Aside from these points, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the overall comfort of the cabin.

This cabin was the replacement cabin and was better than the original one rented. The location was a little farther away from the venue, but very close to all attractions. Very quiet area. Good privacy for bedrooms and lots of bathrooms attached. Would recommend for families staying together.

Also the big game machine was hard to understand and didn't work on some games. We loved the theater room. If these problems are addressed it would be a perfect place to stay.

Beautiful setting in the Smokies

The accommodations were well suited for our large family. The cabin was located in good proximity of downtown Gatlinburg and many other attractions. Was disappointed that the arcade system wasn’t working and it took two maintenance calls to get the home theatre up and running. Our calls were responded to quickly and everyone was friendly and helpful and an adjustment was made due to the issues we had. Overall, our family had a great time.

Reviewer Comments: Everything in the cabin was as described the winding narrow roads were a challenge due to the rain and the parking was terrible and we only had a van and one small car we also couldn't figure out the arcade game even after following the directions posted on the wall.Traveling with seniors and having them on the main level was great but it should be a king size bed in that room

Thank you for the feedback. Some of the roads in the area can be a little tricky. We have everything noted and will send to the proper departments for review. It has been a pleasure and we hope that despite any issues that you were still able to enjoy your time while in our beautiful area!

Unacceptable

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very disappointed

It served our needs

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Please see the extended "punch list" we emailed to Elk Springs Resort. The relational experience with staff was marginally satisfactory and largely impersonal. I would have much preferred to speak to individual rather than passing voice mail and texts back and forth. It is hard to build relationship or confidence in another without having personal contact.

Thank you for the feedback. We certainly apologize about any issues you had during your stay. We do have an extremely high call volume and the use of text and emails allows us to serve our guest at a quicker speed when we are on a call working with another guest. We can use these ways to multitask and assist several at a time. Your business is important to us and we apologize if you feel we were being impersonal in anyway, this is not something that we want to portray to our guest.
