Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was overall very nice, and the cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The only downside was that since we stayed during Christmas, there was no Christmas tree or holiday décor in the cabin. It would have been really nice if this had been offered as an option during the holiday season, as it would have added to the experience.Another concern was the check-in and check-out times. I never quite understood the late check-in and early check-out policy. Ideally, the times should align better, or if the cabin is already ready, guests should be allowed to check in earlier. Some travelers prefer not to wait until the last minute to reach their destination, especially when traveling long distances.Aside from these points, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the overall comfort of the cabin.

This cabin was the replacement cabin and was better than the original one rented. The location was a little farther away from the venue, but very close to all attractions. Very quiet area. Good privacy for bedrooms and lots of bathrooms attached. Would recommend for families staying together.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second trip to Gatlinburg and our second stay in Elk Springs Resort. We stayed at A Smoky Hideaway, which is a nice 5 bedroom, 4 full bathroom cabin spread over 3 levels. Elk Springs is a nice distance from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Close to a local grocery store, which saves us from bringing food with us. Upstairs is a pool table, foosball, an arcade game and theater room with theatre seating to keep you busy for hours. One bedroom is located here with a queen bed. The basement had a sitting area, 3 bedrooms with king sized bunk beds in one room and king beds in the other two. The main floor has the living space, kitchen and final bedroom with a queen bed. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Everyone had privacy when they wanted it, or could hang out together when wanted.We got a text the day before our trip to give us information. Another one the day of to ask our arrival time. We then got one after arriving with a welcoming. We got one message midweek advising us of high winds and to place items inside. Lastly on the night before checkout a message to thank us for staying, some instructions for check-out. We arrived on Sunday and left on Saturday, so they don’t bother you while you’re there. We had one request while there, and they took care of it promptly and informed us when it scheduled and when it was addressed. Always polite and respectful and thanking us. Overall excellent stay, which we have come to expect. Thank you staff at Elk Springs Resort for a great vacation.

Arrived on Sunday reported to Elk Spring non working Arcady broke pool table. We left a day early due to not getting fixed so the kids could have something to do. Kitchen stove was dirty.and we had to clean before using. Not enough parking as the description stated for the cabin. All issues was reported nothing got fixed nothing got taken care of oh but they did refund $172 for our horrible stay.

Beautiful setting in the Smokies

The accommodations were well suited for our large family. The cabin was located in good proximity of downtown Gatlinburg and many other attractions. Was disappointed that the arcade system wasn’t working and it took two maintenance calls to get the home theatre up and running. Our calls were responded to quickly and everyone was friendly and helpful and an adjustment was made due to the issues we had. Overall, our family had a great time.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Worse vacation I’ve ever planned. When my group arrived the cabin was very dirty. I explained to the management company that no one had come to clean the cabin since the last guest check out. There were dishes in the sink, dirty towels in the floor, none of the beds had been changed. The most disgusting finding was a bag of poop in the bathroom. I was told housekeeping would be by the next day and no one ever came. They don’t want to refund my money and the cabin was absolutely nasty. Don’t rent through this property management complaint. I wish I could leave pictures with this review. Absolutely the worse experience ever!
