Little break away

The Stables was a perfect place to get away from our busy lives just for the weekend! Stunning location and wonderful accommodation. Will recommended and come again!

Great location for us as we wanted to visit Glastonbury, Wells as well as the Cathedral and the Royal Palace and heading home again for Stourhead so everything was very close by. Property was great lovely big bedroom. Kitchen was a bit small and warm. Could do with an oven tray and a trivet for putting hot stuff on from oven and some tongs but otherwise very satisfied.

Short break

Lovely converted barn. Nice decor and great lounge and big bedroom. Warm and comfortable. 3 local pubs good for drinks/food. Good location for wells,cheddar and Glastonbury. Perfect 3 nights stay.

Weekend break

We had a great weekend staying at The Stables. We visited Wells, Glastonbury and Cheddar and enjoyed walks up Glastonbury Tor and the Cheddar Gorge Cliff Walk. The gorge walk is very steep in places but it’s worth the effort for the views at the top. The cottage has everything you need. It’s cosy and comfortable and the shower is fantastic! Only thing missing is a local pub within walking distance but that wouldn’t put me off from staying again. I highly recommend.

Very nice big bedroom and sitting room. Lovely views from very pretty garden. Bathroom good sie and very clen. Kitchen bit small but had eveeything you need. Carol was very helpful.

Visit to Wells

We chose this property because of its proximity to Wells which we hadn't visited before particularly its Cathedral and Bishop's Place Gardens .We were not disappointed. The cottage was in a perfect situation being only 3 miles from the city and was very well appointed with a lovely lay out and very clean, we could not have asked for more. We met Carol and were able to express or appreciation for everything. If you want a cottage to explore what is a beautiful area you could not ask for anything more, We would certainly stay again if around the area and Wells is a lovely city. A holiday to remember.
