This charming cottage is in a delightful village with easy rambling/walking across fields from the front door (ok, maybe just up the hill behind). It is quirky and cosy with a sun filled garden if you’re lucky enough to get bright weather (which we were). Our family of 4 enjoyed lunch in the garden, the curios and fireplace, the comfy bedrooms and we had everything we needed to do our laundry, and self catering. We found a warm welcome from the local pub The George Inn where if we didn’t eat dinner or lunch we would stop in for an ale or cider after dinner, literally just down the road. Great base to explore and we visited some stunning National Trust sites including Stourhead House, Montacute House and others. Thanks for the guide books of walks to pubs, That was a few happy days following the trails around Somerset to some excellent sites and delightful pubs.

The house is beautiful, with a lovely garden and right in the middle of a pretty little village. Everything about the stay was great, there’s a nice pub just down the road, and we were close to Wells, Cheddar, Glastonbury and lots of good walks. I couldn’t recommend it more for a stay in Somerset.

A darling cottage, oozing character and history but with every mod con and comfort to make our stay easy and enjoyable. Beds are very comfy and the luxurious duvet in main bedroom aided a very good night's sleep. The garden is delightful and in full verdant spring bloom at present. Our 4 night stay has been such a tonic and perfect for our son's exam revision. Thank you very much Jeanne and Peter for your excellent communication and for allowing is to stay at your beautiful cottage.

We enjoyed our stay at Millview. Excellent location although the road was busy but once inside the cottage it was fairly quiet.

As detailed in listing. Lots of things to look at in cottage and within easy reach of Wells, Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury. Warm and good Wifi. Only downside is parking but that is due to its location and nothing to do with owners.

Beautiful cottage set in Somerset countryside. The rooms were larger than expected making our stay even more comfortable. It is only a 10 minute drive to Wookey Hole which is a great family day out. Cheddar Gore and Bath are also nearby. I would recommend the cottage to others and the host was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful cottage with everything we needed. Beds were comfy, felt really homely and made our stay really relaxing. Really lovely area with lots to do, we only had a few days but would like to go back and explore more. The garden is an added bonus and our daughter enjoyed the space. Just wish we had had longer. Listing was really accurate and it was as good as it looked if not better.

Cute period cottage,

Great location near to Glastonbury and in the countryside. Road can be busy during week but was quiet on weekend. Fantastic garden. Lovely place to get together with friends.

Such unique cottage and friendly village

This cottage was a perfect location for our trip. Everything was super comfortable and had lots of character! The village itself is beautiful. Would love to stay again!

A great base for exploring the area

We loved our stay. It’s surprisingly roomy and although the kitchen is compact, it’s laid out well and it’s got everything you need. Comfortable beds. It’s full of character and quite quirky but very homely. The fabulous George pub is a minutes walk away. Recommend the steak and ale pie!
