Meadow Cottage, sleeping 8, is one of 2 luxury eco houses, located on a private river island on the River Avon, in the New Forest.

The newly converted farm house, makes the most of the 360 degree river views and the location is a nature lovers paradise.
It can be rented in conjunction with The Old Mill, sleeping 10 adults.

Guests of the island share access to a large games room, complete with a home cinema, pool table and table-football, and dartboard. Each house has access to this room on an 'every other' day rota.

The large kitchen diner over looks the surrounding water meadows, and the bi-folding glass doors and floor to ceiling windows brings nature into the room, giving a truly unique dining experience. The doors then lead out onto a patio and then the garden, which has outdoor seating and a BBQ.

The cosy sitting room is found to the left of the entrance and has a charming fireplace as well as TV, perfect for evening gatherings.

The ground floor also has a communal WC and a Twin Room en-suite shower room, at the end of the corridor. The other Twin en-suite shower room is located upstairs, and is next to the Double room with an en-suite shower room .

The King Room with En-suite Bathroom is also upstairs and boasts 360 degree views of the river. This room is spoilt with bi-folding glass doors that lead out on a balcony. From sunrises, nature watching, sunsets and stargazing, the unobstructed views are a delight!

All of the twin rooms can be converted into King rooms on request.

An additional event space can also be hired by guests, for group meals and celebrations. Please inquire about this on booking.
