Luxury shepherd's hut for 2 in the Cotswolds - Aurora
Aurora is a large shepherd's hut near Lechlade-on-Thames which sleeps two guests, in an open plan bedroom, with a contemporary shower room. This beautifully presented retreat features a cute cabin bed, a gas flame effect stove and a raised terrace, the perfect spot from which to enjoy fantastic rural views and outstanding evening sunsets. Aurora is a dog friendly property, suitable for one small dog, and has access to the estate's additional facilities as an added bonus.

Accommodation
This spacious one bedroom shepherd's hut in Radcot is perfect for a romantic getaway in the heart of the countryside. Five steps lead up to the terrace, and then the single storey accommodation is laid out as follows:
Kitchen/lounge
Rural views, gas flame effect stove, electric oven with electric hob, kettle, toaster, fridge with freezer box, Smart TV and dining table with two chairs
Bedroom area (Sleeps 2)
Two steps lead up to the double bed with storage space
Shower room
Walk-in rain shower, loo, basin and heated towel rail
Outside
Large, fully enclosed grassy area and raised terrace with table, benches and charcoal BBQ
Additional facilities
Camden Farm Barns comprises seven properties in total and boasts a large estate complete with football pitch and canopy covered open games space, great for rainy day activities including ping pong and table football. Being just a short walk from the river, during spring and summer guests can rent a paddle board or hire the ex-MOD truck, 'The Goose', which sits on the riverbank, great for a picnic or BBQ. From August 2025, a six-person infrared sauna with shower will be available (see Finer Details).
All of these facilities are offered on a complimentary basis, and are bookable upon arrival at Camden Farm Barns, subject to availability and weather conditions.

The maximum occupancy for this property is 2Â adults. Regrettably, Aurora does not accept children nor infants

Off street parking is available for 2 cars
1 well-behaved, small dog is welcome for an additional £40 per booking. For pet rules, please visit our FAQs
WiFi (Download speed 50 Mbps). The broadband is split evenly between all 7 properties on the estate

Aurora is a self-contained property in the grounds of the Camden Farm Barn estate

The sauna can be booked for an hourâs slot between 9am and 8pm, subject to availability and safety guidelines
Guests are requested to bring their own towels to use the sauna and paddle boards
The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

Commercial and work related bookings are not permitted
Events are not permitted without prior consent
Complimentary EV charging point (shared between other properties on site and restricted use of 6hrs per day per car)
A security deposit is required at this property
Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
