This cottage is attractively decorated inside with a super modern bathroom, well-fitted kitchen and the original fireplace and coal effect gas fire in the comfortable lounge to keep you toasty after a day discovering what the beautiful surrounding areas have to offer. 
Head straight into Bakewell and scout out the array of fabulous shops and visit the atmospheric outside market every Monday. Grab a proper Bakewell Pudding from The Original Bakewell Pudding Shop and head to the hills to soak up the breathtaking countryside views. With plenty of local activities to keep you busy, you must visit Monsal Trail - a peaceful place for walkers, cyclists and even horse riders. Enjoy dinner out in the town at one of the many excellent restaurants or pubs. The nearby River Wye makes the perfect scene to photograph or paint if you’re feeling creative. Alternatively have a tranquil evening stroll to Calver Edge before heading back to base where you’ll be able to relax for the rest of the evening and plan tomorrow’s venture.
