Rose View- a lovely private 1 Bed Bungalow in Sale

Welcome to our beautiful bungalow Rose View. It is located in the historic village of Ashton upon Mersey near Sale. We hope you enjoy your stay!

The bungalow is set in the gardens of our home. It was thoughtfully designed by a local architect to make the most of the available space. The vaulted roof adds style and character and it has a lovely light and airy feel. The Velux windows allow further light and are fitted with black out blinds for your comfort. Double French doors provide the entrance to the property which is fully double glazed. Everything for a relaxing and peaceful stay.

The main living area incorporates a fitted kitchen and is equipped with a kettle, microwave, fridge and a toaster. For those wishing to be more adventurous a hob can be provided. The cupboards are well equipped and tea and coffee are there for your convenience. A bone china tea set is in the cupboard to make afternoon tea if you fancy a treat.

There is a double bed that has a deep comfortable mattress, an adjustable light above and a bedside stool. For the little ones a travel cot can be provided. An inflatable mattress is available for an extra guest if required. There is no charge for this but a charge of 20GBP will be payable if bedding is required. This is payable directly to the host.

A chest of drawers provides storage and there is a little hanging space. The wall mounted TV is on a hinged bracket so that it can be moved to watch either in the main living area or if you so choose, watched in bed.

A bespoke table provides a work or eating area and there is a Wi-Fi booster in place so a excellent signal is always available.

Separated by a sliding door is the bathroom. This has been fitted with a larger than average 900mm shower, a washbasin and a high rise toilet. For ease of use and safety there is a substantial grabrail and a non slip mat if required. There are 2 mirrors one of which is wall mounted and the other can be moved around the property as you wish.

A hairdryer and a portable radio are also provided.

The bungalow is heated by modern electric wall mounted heaters which are thermostatically controlled to keep the inside temperature regulated.

Rose View was designed to be accessible for those with mobility difficulties and apart from a 8cm step at the entrance everything is on the same level. It would not be suitable for wheelchair users but ideal for those with walking aids.

The property is conveniently situated only 5 minutes walk from the village of Ashton upon Mersey. There you will find plenty of places serving tasty and reasonably priced food either to eat in or take away together with 2 friendly pubs. There is also a Coop local and a small Tesco. A launderette and a hardware store that sells almost everything!

Local attractions include: The Trafford Centre and Manchester city centre. For the sports lovers there are Manchester United and City football stadiums within 20 mins. Sale Sharks rugby team and the home of Manchester Storm ice hockey team at Altrincham ice rink. The family will love the Museum of Science and Industry and the Imperial War Museum. For concert lovers there is the Etihad Stadium and O2 Arena as well as Old Trafford. The market town of Altrincham is only 15 mins away by car or Metro. There are 2 National Trust Parks within 20 minutes drive. Dunham Massey and Tatton. Both have beautiful gardens and houses open to the public. The roman town of Chester with superb shopping and world famous zoo is just a 35 minute drive. Cheshire Oaks is a famous discount shopping centre and that is around 30 minutes away by car.

The bungalow is located in a central position within a quiet residential area so getting around is easy. There is free parking on the road immediately outside the property.

The M60 motorway is a 5 minute drive away and provides easy access to both the north and south. There is a Metrolink tram station 15 minutes walk away. The Metro covers the whole of Greater Manchester from the historic market town of Altrincham to the south, the city of Manchester, and all of the north of the city. Manchester Airport is a 20 minute taxi ride away but also now accessible on the Metro.

We have personally thought through all of the amenities and hope to provide you with all the comforts of home. The surrounding area has a lot to offer and is sure to make your holiday one of a kind.

Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

We have a friendly little grey and white cat called Mollie who is always curious about our guests. She may well pay you a visit but if cats are not to your liking the just ask her to leave. Our cockerpoo pup is Charlie and like all puppies she is very enthusiastic and playful.

House Rules:
- Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am.
Please ask if you require flexibility as
sometimes this can be accommodated.
- Smoking is not allowed except for outside.
- There is on road parking facilities. Motorbikes
and bicycles can be stored securely within the
grounds.
- Pets are not allowed at the property for obvious reasons.
