NBHD italien «The Hill» STL. GRAND local !! 1er étage 4 couchages. TrÚs confortable!

Appartement 1 chambre, 2 chambres récemment rénové dans un grand quartier central. PrÚs de Forest Park, Barnes / HÎpitaux juifs / pour enfants, WashU et centre-ville. Nous sommes également à proximité des jardins botaniques, de notre magnifique zoo (qui est GRATUIT !!), Le stade Busch, le quartier historique de Soulard et de nombreuses nouvelles micro-brasseries. Nous sommes sur 'The Hill', le quartier italien historique de notre ville, ce qui signifie que vous pouvez vous promener dans de bons restaurants et bars de quartier, ou cuisiner vos propres recettes fabuleuses dans la cuisine entiÚrement équipée avec des appareils en acier inoxydable.

Ceci est un bel appartement avec une chambre privée avec lit queen, plus un futon queen confortable dans le salon! Une douche joliment carrelée et une vanité double lavabo dans la salle de bain. Il y a un grand porche avant pour se détendre, ainsi qu'une terrasse commune à l'arriÚre. Notre téléviseur dispose de chaßnes locales et d'un Chromecast pour votre Netflix ou d'autres comptes de streaming. Il y a le wifi et un accÚs facile à votre appartement. Nous sommes également situés à cÎté d'un parc avec des courts de tennis, une aire de jeux, des terrains de football et de softball.

We loved our stay in our Hill apartment. It was very cozy and clean, they had everything needed to cook a meal. It was walkable to the Italian market; the neighborhood was very cute! Love the charm of the apartment and neighborhood. Our favorite restaurant was nearby, Favazza's, totally recommend eating there. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent condo in The Hill

We loved staying at this condo in The Hill neighborhood of St Louis. So many shopping and eating options close by and all the food was really great. The condo was comfortable, very clean, and well equipped. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here.

Comfortable 1 bedroom first floor apartment in Hill neighborhood

We stayed 4 nights for our son's wedding and found the unit very comfortable, very clear directions from the owners to drive to the address and access the unit. Everything was clean and in good working order. When we had a small issue with the sofa bed, owners were prompt in responding. We ended up not using the sofa bed, as it didn't appear very comfortable, but the queen bed in the bedroom provided sound sleep.The unit really just sleeps 2, not 4, unless the extra 2 want a thin mattress sofa bed.The location was great for accessing all the wedding venues and sight seeing that we did.There was always a convenient parking space on the street, often right in front of the building.There's great sunlight through ample windows in the daytime, and windows open for fresh air in the spring.

Such a good location

The area is safe, located near both east/west interstate highways, and many of the major St. Louis attractions. A park is right next door, and a large grocery store is only blocks away. The Hill is the site of several excellent Italian restaurants.

Overall a great stay

We really enjoyed our time here. It was super clean (minus a couple spots on furniture), in a great location, and very charming. Our only issue was that we were convinced that someone was running a marathon upstairs and you could hear every single step...at 5 am. It was rough on our sleep, but we would still stay again and just hope nobody was upstairs the next time.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed with Steve and Terry. The apartment is alway clean and everything we might need is there. The location is very convenient to just about anything you plan to see or do. Neighborhood is very safe.

Wonderful stay - great location

This was our 4th stay in the apartment. It is perfect for my husband and I. Everything we need is in the apartment, the bed is comfortable, the place is clean and theres a private outdoor space. All that and its located in a friendly neighborhood close to many St. Louis attractions. We booked our next stay on our way home today.

Steve and I grew up in St Louis and love our city. We are now retired, but had a carpentry business and have gutted and rehabbed this apartment. The apartment is attached to our home a home we converted from a duplex to a single family. My husband Steve grew up on 'The HIll' our cities historic Italian neighborhood and attended St Louis U Highschool and SIUE where he went to college and played soccer. I have a yoga teaching certification and help with carpentry as our property is still in transition, as well as run the vacation rentals. We have grown children between us and grandchildren. We love to spend our Friday nights cooking and sharing wine with friends and family. My husband is an amazing cook and an avid fisherman. We love to play Pickle ball, ride our bikes around the city, and play in a bocce league 8 months of the year, at our favorite neighborhood pub. We also own an Airstream and get out in it as often as we can.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Our carpentry company bought this property in 2008 to tear down and build new town homes overlooking Sublette park, but the economy had other ideas. In 2010 we adjusted our vision and began a long, still in progress rehabilitation of the buildings, which at the time were 2 sets of attached duplexes. We gutted both buildings and spent weekends rebuilding the interiors, converting the large units into our single family home. Buy 2012 we were moved in and then started the same process on the 2 smaller apartment units. The transformation has been an amazing process and we wouldn't live anywhere else!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

St Louis was settled by the French, and Missouri had an amazingly prolific clay mines. As a result the city is littered with gorgeous, rich red/brown brick architecture. I loved that our buildings had the original city style architecture with flat roofs and tall ceilings with pocketed door parlors, large porches and fireplaces in every room. This house had many of those features so I feel very fortunate to have one of these buildings that just fits our city.
