Experience Tuscany in a truly authentic way at Rio delle Fate. Owned by the same family for centuries, this well-preserved piece of a country residence still has a host of original furniture and architectural detail. After a raditional renovation to modern standards, this vacation rental has the incredible charme of the Italian Granny’s home and features the old traditional way of living in the tuscan countryside including a lovely small garden by the stream that brings fresh water from the hills. All of this in the medieval village of Vor-no, just 10 mins away from Lucca city centre. Rio delle Fate is literally a fairytale place and a rare find for those who are seeking a peaceful yet simple way of living in an en-chanted village close to shops and services.

A wonderful, beautiful and quiet home exactly as described. Close to Lucca and Viareggio. Great walks in the countryside, including up to an observatory with views of Vorno and the land around. Highly recommended.

La casa es hermosa

La casa es hermosa, muy espaciosa y cuenta con todo lo necesario. Los jardines y piscina adorables. Tuvimos un problema eléctrico, pero lo arreglaron rápidamente. El dueño muy atento, nos dejó dos botellas de vino de cortesía. Pasamos unas bonitas vacaciones en La Toscana. Lo que debes tomar en cuenta es la ubicación, debes tener en carro a tu disposición ya que el supermercado mas cercano se encuentra bastante lejos.

Wer hat schon die Gelegenheit, direkt an einem Bachlauf sich auf einer Liege zu entspannen. Bei dieser Unterkunft geht das und noch vieles mehr. Die Unterkunft war zwar etwas abseits der allgemeinen Touristenströme, aber dafür hat man hier seine Ruhe. Die Anliegerstraße ist überhaupt nicht wahrnehmbar. Das Mittelreihenhaus liegt zwischen zwei ruhigen, freundlichen Nachbarn, durch den getrennten Garten kann man sich sehr gut aus dem Weg gehen. Am Bachlauf ist zudem noch eine Feuerstelle, an der man es sich auch gemütlich machen kann. Im Hausinneren haben wir alles sehr sauber und neuwertig vorgefunden. Die Bettmatrazen waren in einem guten Zustand und erzeugten keine Rückenschmerzen. Ein kleines separtes "Arbeitszimmer" lädt zudem für Home-Office-Tätigkeiten ein, ohne dass andere gestört werden. Das Wlan reicht bis in den Garten und ist stabil sowie mit einem Top-Router ausgestattet. Die Waschmaschine (programmierbar) ist in einem separten Gebäude untergebracht und stört damit gar nicht. Hier ist auch eine zweite Toilette/Dusche vorhanden, wenn man von draußen kommend nicht immer durch das ganze Haus laufen möchte. Die Fenster sind mit Moskitonetzen ausgestattet und verfügen über Fensterläden, so dass man es im Schlafbereich stockdunkel haben kann. Das Badezimmer im Haus ist funktional ausgestattet, die Dusche wird richtig heiß. Das Haus ist hygienisch gefliest. Alles war tiptop sauber. Das war uns in der heutigen Zeit besonders wichtig. Es war mehr als ausreichend Geschirr vorhanden, eine Filterkaffeemaschine und ein Espresssokocher sowie scharfe Messer und ordentliches Besteck. Das Haus war geschmackvoll eingerichtet, ohne aufdringlich oder kitschig zu sein. Der Kontakt zu Betreuerin Renate war sehr freundlich und sie hatte manchen interessanten Tipp für uns. Wir haben die Herbstwoche zu dritt sehr genossen, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, was die Vermieter hätten besser machen können.

Das war der nahezu perfekte Aufenthalt! Tolle Lage in der Natur und doch nah zu Strand, Städten und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Haus ist super gepflegt, schön eingerichtet und die Ausstattung (vollständige Küchenutensilien, zwei Bäder, Begrüßungspaket etc. etc.) ist großartig! Garten und Bach sind nicht nur für Kinder eine tolle Umgebung. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Tutto quello di cui si ha bisogno

Delizioso appartamento su tre piani, elegante e curato nei dettagli. Bellissimo giardino con possibilità di pranzare, fare barbecue e rilassarsi. Buona dotazione di stoviglie e accessori per la cucina. Possibilità di parcheggio. Luogo silenzioso immerso nella natura in prossimità di importanti mete turistiche (Lucca, Pisa, Firenze...)
