Overall the property was good, just a couple of problems with the key code stopping working on Friday and Saturday mornings but the host sorted this out.

Long weekend in Wells

Property was well equipped, laid out well and an excellent base for our long weekend. Loved wells cathedral, and grounds. Spent a day in Bath which was an easy distance. Lovely stay thank you.

Great townhouse

A lovely 3 storey townhouse within a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral in Wells. Very well equipped with everything we needed. Lovely large bedroom on the top floor and cosy living space. Was beautifully and tastefully decorated. Will definitely stay again. Would recommend for anyone who wants to stay in Wells.

Beautiful house in perfect location

Beautiful, modern, spacious house. Spotlessly clean. Everything you need in the kitchen. Quiet residential area. Ideal location, easy walk into Wells and central to everything we wanted to do in Somerset.

Absolutely perfect in every way. Lovely house in a great location. The host was very attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. He was very responsive before, during and just after our holiday as well so we felt well looked after. We had a very happy stay over Christmas and will be back. Thank you!

Home from home in Wells

The house was very clean and had all the facilities you could wish for in a short stay house and much more. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine from the host which was a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms spacious. Plenty of room for a family to relax in the living room with access to streaming services. The property is a short 15 min walk to wells which avoids having to find parking and two supermarkets are close by. It is the perfect location to explore the local area.

Perfect accomodation 5 *

All furnishings, equipment, heating equates with the best in our experience at home and abroard. Although specified through write up because the property is split over 3 levels we found climbing two flights of stairs to the master bedroom tiresome …. But that’s fine for fitter visitors.

Ideal location for accessing Wells and surroundings.

We stayed here with 5 adults, two married couples and one individual. The accommodation was superb and had everything we needed. It was the cleanest place I've ever stayed in. Having two bathrooms and three toilets meant we could sort ourselves out without the usual hassles. We found it ideally situated for walking to the cathedral and a little beyond to the shops. You do drop down into town so there's a climb back to the property but it was only about a 15 minute walk, maybe slightly longer if you meander. Because of the properties location we were able to have a meal out, with a drink and not have to worry about who was driving. The property is close to St Thomas church and the bells do ring on the hour even at night. One of our party struggled a bit with the noise but he is also a very light sleeper. The rest of us were OK. We did manage to lock ourselves out one evening but we called the supplied number for such cases (and such idiots) and our call was promptly answered. We were given some instructions and were then able to enter the property. I can therefore say in an emergency situation, access to help works effectively. Overall I, and all of my party, would highly recommend this property as one worth staying in if you are visiting Wells and the surrounding areas.
