Beaucoup d'espace pour parcourir nos 2 1/2 acres. Nous vivons dans la maison d'à côté. Détendez-vous dans un endroit calme et paisible à 45 minutes d'Epcot, Disney et Universal Parks. Dix minutes du célèbre marché aux puces Renningers et du centre d'antiquités, à cinq minutes de l'hôpital Florida Waterman et à cinq minutes de Quaint Mt Dora. Très propre, récemment rénové, chalet d'invité de studio au deuxième étage avec cuisine complète. Animaux acceptés. WiFi, télévision connectée à écran plat, chaînes câblées et cinéma, ordinateur, imprimante, Alexa avec Amazon Music. Non accessible aux handicapés. Beaucoup d'espace pour garer les grands véhicules récréatifs et bateaux avec remorques. Dormez avec l'assurance de la confidentialité et de la sécurité de votre bateau ou camping-car. Hosts were super-friendly. Cottage was cozy and we loved having a deck overlooking the yard and lake. Close (via car) to lots of restaurants.

Relaxing stay

My wife and I loved the property. It was peaceful and quiet but also close to restaurants and parks. The hosts were great and welcoming. The space was cozy and comfortable and our dog loved the large yard to run around in. I had to go to Orlando for work a couple of times and it is a short drive on great highways. We would stay here again when in the area.

Great location

Sweet little guest room in a tucked away location. The folks that own this property are so accommodating and the area is safe and close to everything. We had a carport for both our vehicles and a delightful little deck off our room. The ability to get out and walk the neighborhoods and canoe if we wanted, was delightful.

Close to Harris chain, very accommodating hosts and a beautiful property. Perfect for the bass fisherman fishing a tournament on Harris chain of lakes. Provided a carport and electrical plug for my boat...all and all a great overall experience.

Carol was great to work with. Good communication, checked on me at check in...very helpful. The efficiency was well kept and very clean. View from the balcony was awesome. Carport was very convienant to park my boat. All around great stay!!! I will be coming back...

Beautiful Property and Friendly Owners!

My daughter and I stayed at this cottage on the lake just prior to her sixteenth birthday and it was a perfect location! Although you are only five minutes from the quaint, downtown Mount Dora, it feels as if you are out in the country when you are on their property! We enjoyed spending time down by the lake and enjoyed the view of the lake from the balcony! We sat outside one morning while we ate breakfast and it was such a pleasant treat! John and Carol are extremely thoughtful! John met us at the front entrance to help show us back to where we would be staying. They gave us everything we needed including a map of the area and a list of restaurants. I have already recommended this amazing place for a get away to several friends and family who are excited about making plans to visit! We will definitely plan on returning as well! Thanks Carol and John for allowing us to stay in your sweet little cottage!

Great Rental, enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. Rental was as described with many amenities. Short drive to grocery stores, shopping and restaurants. Rental was clean and check-in process was easy. One thing to note, communication with John was great. He was extremely nice and made us felt welcome during our stay. Seems like a chill, laid back type of guy. However our experience with Carol was not so great. To provide a bit of context, we traveled with 2 service animals. The very next morning, we were going to make a quick trip to the walgreens not even a mile down the road to grab some ice for our coolers. While getting into our vehicle, our first and ONLY encounter with Carol was her yelling at us saying we had to take our animals with us. You could clearly see by her hand gestures and facial expressions that she was angry. Sure made us felt welcome to her property. To be transparent, we did let Carol and John know the service animals travel with us just about everywhere but we thought a quick 5 minute trip to walgreens wouldn't be a big deal. Obviously not. So if you plan on bringing service animals, set the expectations accordingly or you might receive the same treat we did. After that incident with Carol, she did not greet us, talk to us or even introduce herself for the rest of the trip. Totally fine with us. John was extremely nice and pleasant to deal with. Overall, I would highly recommend this rental if you are not bringing an animal. Thanks again John!
